I am Liu Zixin, 23 years old. The story of me and my uncle begins when I was just 11 years old and he, 24.

Me and my uncle were not very close when we first met.

I still remember, it was Christmas night. At that time, I used to live only with my father and grandmother. My mother died when I was just a year old. Dad said we lost her in a car accident.

My father always loved me as much as he could. He never let me feel lonely, so did my grandmother. They were my whole world. I can't imagine a life without them.

Everthing was going fine until I met my uncle, Hua qiao.

He was not blood related to me. He was my father's closest and childhood friend. So he told me to call him uncle.

It was Christmas, so I was eating the sweets dad bought for me. I gave one to grandma and she loved it but because if her health, she did not eat much of them.

I was hugging my puppy, Charile, when my dad entered the hall while laughing. I wondered why he was laughing. I looked at him and then saw someone else walking behind him.

When I looked carefully, he was so handsome and looked kind.

I let go of my dog and it right away went to that person.

My grandma turned and looked at my dad and then at the person, "Oh god! You've grown up so much!" she stood up and walked to that person. She looked excited and happy.

Then, grandma kissed the person's forehead and blessed him. I wondered why they were so close.

Then my dad introduced him to me. "Cheng. Meet my son, Liu Zixin. Son, greet uncle Hua cheng!" my dad said to me.

The person was Hua cheng, and daddy told me to call him uncle. So I bowed and greeted, "Hello uncle Hua."

Uncle was so cool at that time. He bent down and looked at me with a lot of affection, "He looks just like Zhang xiang."

Zhang xiang, my mother. I'm glad he said that. Because my mom was really pretty and I'm happy to know that I resemble her. I feel proud.

That moment was so special to me, because may be that was the moment when I fell in love with him, my uncle.

I just nodded and looked away, trying to hid my face. Then he rubbed my head and said, "You're cute." that was the first thing that ever flattered me. I still remember that.

Uncle rubbed my head and then my dad called him. Ah! He has no idea that he just ruined a perfect moment.

I ran to my bed and jumped on it like an idiot. I was so happy," He.. He touched me." I was blushing like a crazy lover.

Dad kept calling him over. It really made me happy. We were alos getting close. He was becoming my friend. I loved the process.

It was my 15 birthday. By that time, me and my uncle had gotten really, really close. He was my first crush. I was happy about him being all the time around me.

"Happy birthday. You look handsome." that's what almost everyone said to me. But that didn't make me so happy. I wanted to hear that from my uncle.

So I walked to him and hugged him, "Uncle... Don't you have anything to say to me?" I asked and pouted.

He looked at me and chuckled, "You're so cute Zinnie."

Zinnie, that's what he used to call me. How sweet. Isn't it?

"Thank you." I said and smiled.

"Zinnie. Close your eyes." he said. I was surprised. "Oh. Sure." I said and closed my eyes.

Then he stepped back and took a moment, "Now. Open your eyes." he said.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw him having a present in his hands. It was for me. I was happy to get it, so I hugged him again. "Thank you so much uncle!!"
