This story is about a girl she was alone in this world full of people she was the only one for herself...
Her name was Sophie,

Let's see how her story begin and how she grew up to be what she was in the end.....
Sophie was an orphan and she lived in an orphanage
She had a friend, a true friend whom she lost contact with. As she was adopted by a well off family, William family. The family was rich and very kind they donated a lot to the orphanage that the girls lived in.
One day when the family had come to donate stuff and their youngest son, George William was playing near the lake beside the orphanage. The boy was really happy playing around the lake.
He was very playful and mischievous, so he tried to catch a small orange fish that he had saw in movie, while doing so he got imbalanced and fell into the lake.

Help...ahhh....help....ahh... help {he shouted loudly}
His cries for help was heard by the two friends sophie and olivia who were playing under a tree and they ran to help the both friend tried to help but the boy was too panicked to hear or understand when they told him to hold the rope sophie couldn't swim and she was really scared of water, she had aquaphobia. So olivia who knew this and could swim went in and help the child up...

{after drinking water he was coming back to normal his breathing was normalising}
Sophie ran to the orphanage madam whom she called mamma
She saw she was talking to someone but the small boy was also important so she interrupted

Mamma...their is a boy he fell..... into the lake and.... we saved him....please come.... and see if he is....fine {she said breathlessly as she had ran their}
The madam and the William couple ran towards the lake. When the couple heard sophie they for some reason got worried as their son was also playing near the lake. Therefore they followed the orphanage madam.
The couple was shocked to see their son drenched in water and another girl who was helping him calm down.

Let me see if you got hurt {she went to her son and started to see if he was hurt anywhere, she was so worried and scared that she was crying}

I'm ok...mom {hugged his mom and started to sob as he was scared}

Good job both of you, you saved someone's life and informed me too {she said after checking both the girls to see if they are injured}
She was satisfied as the girls were good and followed all the rules and helped everyone in need

The couple really liked the girls, as they were polite and saved their son, first impression is the last impression and their first impression was really good.
The couple looked at eachother as if talking to each other in with their eyes. Atlast they nodded their heads to each other as if they came to a decision.

It was a law in the country that a couple could only adopt one child so they were helpless they could only take one girl

The girls where left alone their, they didn't know what to say and how to start.
Sophie, who understood this took ahold of her best friend's hand and took her under the tree, under which they were playing before the accident.
*Imagine they were not sleeping and ignore all unnecessary things*
Between both was an awkward silence. They were both in their own thoughts they recalled all the time they spend together at the same spot.
Under this tree, this is their special place, whenever they were sad or happy or confused or wanted to cry, they can be found no where but here.
Sophie thought to break the silence

Oli do you want to go with them {eyes teary}
Oli was olivia's nickname given by sophie and olivia calls sophie as soph

No I don't want to go leaving you behind {at the verge of crying}😢
Both looked at eachother and hurriedly hugged eachother. As soon as they did both burst into tears

But mamma told..sob... before that...sob...one of us has to...sob...go and we have to...sob...decide who {sobbing}😭😭😭
*Sophie call the madam mamma, don't get confused*

I can't do that Oli...sob...mamma told that if someone...sob...wants to adopt us...sob....we can't refuse and...sob...after we get adopted...sob...we can have better...sob...life and also help...sob...mamma {sobbing}

Sophie held Olivia's hand and went towards the madam s office
They knocked at the door and heard a small 'come in'. The both heard it and came in. The adults looked at the direction of the children as if asking about the decision they made.
The children looked at each other and nodded their heads at eachother, both said together "we have decided"

{Held Olivia's hand tightly as if telling her to speak of their decision }

Madam I will be going {head down with tears in her eyes}

Ok then, madam can we go through the procedure of her adoption { he worte the name of Olivia in the adoption papers as he had done all the other formalities already }

Okay then, I will submit them to the court you can take Olivia with you now.{ while taking the papers}

Mr. and Mrs. William you have to come together with Olivia at the adoption office I will send the address to you.

Ok then come dear we will go to our home now, come { while extending his hand towards Olivia}

The couple had told and explained it all to George while they were waiting for the two girls to make their decision and he liked her too as she saved him

The couple bid their goodbye and went towards their car with George and Olivia, and drove to their home

The couple along with the children and madam went to the adoption office and did all the adoption formalities.
After the adoption was done they all came to the orphanage as Olivia wanted to take some of her stuff.
She went to her share room with Sophie where she had her stuff.

They both did the packing and after that they were sitting silently.

Actually, mom dad told me yesterday that we are going to shift to another country because they are expanding their business to another country and had come for the last time to the orphanage to bid goodbye

Both hug each other for the last time.
Sophie goes with the siblings to the madam's office to see them off
Once again they got separated and both were broken hearted
This time Sophie wanted to cry too so she quickly ran to her room and locked it and cried her heart out she didn't have lunch nor came for dinner, she kept on crying, as if her crying could bring her friend back.
In the morning madam came with some food for Sophie and knocked on her door
Sophie quickly wole up and washed her face and came to open the door

After it was done she told Sophie to rest some more as her eyes were swollen and she had a little fever so she also gave her some medicine.
