...I'm Amaya , a girl with no importance in the world . I have no friends and my family often ignores me . I was often bullied by others but I didn't care , even if they hit me many times , insult me many times , I won't be hurt or care after all I'm just a nobody . Everyday feels ordinary to me but one day everything changed . ...

...As I was walking to school , I walked pass by a girl crossing the street with headphones on and was wearing the same uniform to my school . I ignored her knowing that she wouldn't notice me even if I said hi . But out of nowhere a car that was out of control was coming towards her , even though I didn't care about myself I still care about others so I rushed there and pushed her aside just in time . She looked at me with a shocked look on her face as she smiled , I thought to myself what was the reason for her to smile . Even though I think she didn't appreciate me saving her from the car I was still happy I could help . ...

...I soon woke up in the hospital , with the girl I helped beside me . I was about to woke her up when my mom and dad came in , and scolded me . ...

Mom: Look at what you just did ! Thank god the driver offered to pay the hospital bill or else me and your father would've left you alone here to pay it ! ( She shouted )

Dad : Why did you have to be so careless , good thing that it was only a minor injury or else we would spend money on your health again !!! Didn't you say that your not gonna cause anymore problems in this family again ?! ( Dad said in a angry tone )

...From all their shouting and scolding the girl which I saved woke up , and I just kept silent . ...

Girl : ( Yawn ) What happened ? What's with all the shouting ? ( She asked as she looked at my parents with a smile )

Mom : It is none of your business and who are you ?! ( She asked with a annoyed tone )

Dad : Dear, calm down . The hospital bills are taken care of and we can go home now . This ungrateful and good-for-nothing child can be safe for now . ( He said as he looked at me hatefully )

They left and I turned to the girl ,

Amaya : You can leave too .

Girl : Leave ? But your still hurt and I haven't properly thanked you yet .

Amaya : As if anyone would thank a good-for-nothing like me . ( I said as I clenched me fist )

Girl : Your not a good-for-nothing ! You saved me and thank you for that 😊 ( she said with a sincere smile )

...For the first time ever someone told me that I wasn't useless and it felt real . I thought at first that I was dreaming but as I looked at the girl her look was sincere and true . ...

...The girl spoke again ...

Girl : I almost forgot , I haven't told you my name yet . I'm Naomi , and you are ?

Amaya : I'm Amaya

Naomi : Amaya ? That's a cute name ( she said with a smile .)

Amaya : Why do you always smile ? You smiled even though my parents were shouting and You smiled even though you were almost hit by a car .

Naomi : Well it's normal , my name means smiles and happiness and my parents named me that so that I could always smile no matter what happens .

Amaya : That's complete stupidness !

Naomi : hehe 😅 I know right ?

Amaya : By the way , you don't need to stay I'm ok now . I can handle a few injuries . You must've missed school to take me to the hospital right ? I should say sorry to you .

Naomi : I did missed my first day of school 😅 but it's because of something important . I'm sure the teachers would understand .

Amaya : And by important you mean ?

Naomi : Of course that's you dummy ( she said as she laughed )

Amaya : I'm important ? How ?

Naomi : Well you saved my life and you have a great personality and why do you have to ask if your important ? ( She said as she laughed ) I was wondering if you could be my friend . Based on your uniform you and I go to the same school , we can be BFF's and you can show me around the school .

Amaya : You don't want to be friends with me ! I'll only cause trouble , all students in school doesn't like me . If they see you with me , they'll bully you !

Naomi : Haha , don't worry my mother thaught me martial arts when I was young . No one will dare bully us ( she said as she smiled )

Amaya : How come your not scared ? Do you really mean it when you said you wanted to be friends with me ? Why ?

Naomi : I told you before right ? I like your personality and I'm sure that we'll get along and I'll help you too . You parents were very rude to you but no worries I'll protect you . We're friends from now on .

Amaya : Friends ? You really mean that ?

Naomi : Yup Friends 😊
