So this is my life ... I hope you enjoy every single part of it because I'm only saying it once and only once .

I yawn waking up after a couple hours . Rubbing my eyes . I walk downstairs asking my mother about the arcade "Hey mom ... when can we go to the Arcade ? " She gives me a smile ."Not sure honey , I have to work really late ..." she sighs .. I already here the guilt in her voice "It's okay mom, I have to study anyway" I just give her a don't worry about it look " alright .. "

My mom has a tendency of putting to much pressure on herself so I have to help ... we live in this decent house. So I walked out to the café which is just down the block I order my regular everyday coffee ... I sit and take out my black marker that I draw with all the time ... I look up and see a girl .. she's pretty with red-ish hair and brown eyes. she smiled and my heart jumped.. god how could someone be this cute

Alex POV

She scrolled through old photos on her  phone and glanced up looking at a girl (Kaitlyn) .. then back at her phone . She kept scrolling bored till she stared at a black screen" god dammit" she checked her bag realizing she didn't bring her charger with her ." And I forgot to bring my charger. Just my luck " after she says that a charger is thrown next to her , she looks up to see were it came from she locks eyes with a girl with dark blue eyes. And brown hair " Uh thanks" she smiles " your welcome I wont need it anyway.." the girl smirks back a little ... I chuckle and charge my phone glancing up at the girl drawing very realistic roses on the table and on her hand in black permanent marker so the girl can draw? . I snap out of my thoughts and answer the phone that keeps ringing .." what is it?" I sigh, just another normal day and I hang up the phone.. shoving it in my bag .

Kaitlyn POV

I sit and read a little.. from my favorite book all of its written in Latin otherwise I wouldn't have really understood it . Drinking my coffee I look up seeing her again , she's so busy on the phone its kind of annoying . whatever it doesn't matter after a couple moments the waiter ask me if I can watch over the café for a little while she takes a small break and of course I say yes but what I don't expect is for little miss busy to jump up and say " I can help too" i walk over to the counter and put on an apron and get to work cleaning, helping customers, and even talking with her now I know her as Alex . after about 20 minutes were finished and we sit together .. " so Kaitlyn, what's with all those tattoos ? " she asked sitting up slightly .." I like them , and so I have them " she checks the time" crap I got to go sorry Kait" she looks at me i mean really looks at me in the eyes and I felt heat in my cheeks and a flutter in my stomach I hadn't felt that in a long time ...

I wake up with the sun seeping through my blue curtains , and I yawn groaning slightly adjusting to the light .. getting up to go brush my teeth , I choose to put on a comfy outfit after my shower .

My mother knocks on the door " Hey Kait someone's here to see you " After she says that I notice something different it's not in a excitement tone it's more in a " stay calm " tone. My mother never uses that tone unless ... no it's not her .. it can't possibly be Anna ...I rush out of my room and see two women there one is my mother but the other is someone I don't recognize someone who I've blocked away in my memory .. it's her " Mom?" She looks at me and smiles " Hey sweetie I didn't think you would recognize me after 10 years ..." I chuckle in pure shock .. I haven't seen her in over 10 years ... but I know I was supposed to feel happy that's how normal people feel when seeing someone who hasn't been around for so long .. but instead I felt anger a chilling one " Kait I know it's a lot ..." maze says and I just look at her my brain is completely fogged over " We're has she been for the last 10 years ?" I choke out having tears in my eyes " I- she was getting help ..." Maze says ...

Flashback

I ran home seeing maze but not seeing my mother .." Hey mama maze .." I say with a slight concerned tone .." Hey kiddo " she smiles .." We're mom ?" I say , she just sighs and walks towards me " She uh won't be here for a little while .." I sniffle and the lights flicker " why ?" I look at her crying a little " She went to go get some help .." she hugs me and the lights stop flickering.." tell me where she is " I demand but she still won't tell me ... " I will tell you when your older." " I'm 7 I can handle it .." she chuckles " I can't tell you .." I shove her and yell " Why not ?! Tell me where she is ! " the lights bulbs start to shatter and she looks at me " it's ok ..Kait " I breathe heavy .." she's at a rehab center .." I look at her picture in disbelief .. I didn't want it to be true .. " S-she isn't a drug addict .." Maze nods and tells me she is and that everything will be okay ... I was only 7 then now I'm 17
