A long time ago, when the people were believing in folk tales and that this world is not occupied only by physical forms of life but also by spirits and immortals, something happened into the heavenly realm and this event triggered a natural disaster in the human world. A powerful creaure that was keeping the balance of weather down on earth, suddenly vanished, turned into ashes. Without "the rainbow bird" the clouds could no longer produce rain and because of the lack of rain, the ground fastly became dried.

This phenomenon started two years ago and despite the efforts of the gods to bring rain, the clouds remained dry. This was the first time the bird has turned to ashes.

After many investigations, the deities found out that a new "rainbow bird " will appear very soon in the human realm and so the heavenly emperor sent the goddess of rain to find the bird's reincarnation and bring it back to heaven.

How I previously said, TianTian, the Goddess of rain was sent to restore the balance of weather and put an end to this calamity that fell upon humanity.

TianTian, the most beautiful goddess in all the worlds, was venerated by all humans and fairies and they were even celebrating her at the beginning of every season for prosperity and a favorable weather.

She was the most loved deity because the living things with a mortal body can not survive without food and the harvest can not be abundant without a good weather.

The humans were describing her as a priceless beauty with long black hair, blue eyes, her red lips were compared with the roses, her white skin with the snow and her gentle body with the rivers.

Among the people there were many descriptions of her and each of them could let you speechless.

So, this beautiful goddess left the heaven realm to search for the bird's reincarnation. For her surprise, her adventure in the below realm will put her in many difficult situations.

After receiving her orders from the heavenly emperor, Tian Tian fastly packes her things and goes straight to the world of humans.

Here, with her magic compass, she detects the astronomical sign that will be born soon and help them restore the balance in all the universes.

The compass was leading her in the direction of a mountainous area where there was a well build human settlement. The landscape was like a fairytale. At the foot of the mountain were many villages with large fields of rice, vegetables, fruits, grains and animal farms and ascending the mountain the small lantern-lit towns could be seen from far away. In the top, there were temples, cultivator sects and the ruler's residence.

This settlement was called "Tianmen" or "Heaven Gate" and here the goddess of rain was highly revered but no one could have guessed that one day their beloved goddess will come down on earth and knock at their doors.

If she would have told the humans from that place that she's the great goddess of rain, they would have taken her for a mad woman.

When she arrives at the foot of the mountain and enters a small village, she finds out that not all the humans can easily go up on the mountain and visit the other areas, only those with spiritual powers could go up and enjoy the richness and lightness of that place above. The people from these small villages were believing that the world above them was floating through the clouds and they were chosen people, thing that was actually true.

At the beginning the goddess thinks that the poor humans are discriminated and all that's going on there is a huge injustice but later she finds out the reason why all that happens.

It seems that as you go up on the mountain the pressure grows and a normal person without any spiritual power and training can't support that high pressure. The air down the mountain was breathable for the common people but the one from the higher levels was like some kind of natural poison for them because of the high pressure. Their organs would explode inside their bodies if they could not support the pressure.

That's why this place is called "Tianmen" because it is a place for everyone but not everyone can enjoy everything, not everyone can go to the heavenly realm and live happily in the same world with the immortals.

Besides this social hierarchy that is a bit unacceptable for her, she also discovers that the world down here is highly affected by the drought and there's dryness everywhere. The farmers were complaining about this severe weather condition and were frequently praying to their goddess TianTian to bring some rain.

The poor people had no idea why the rain wasn't falling down on earth even though they were imploring the heavens.

"Did the heavens abandoned them?"

In the second day in the human world, she realizes that her powers are somehow sealed and she can't reach the peak of the mountain where the new rainbow bird will be born soon. At the present moment she can only go up to the cities above the villages. Seeing her chances of success limited, she decides to go up as high as she can and find a clue to unseal her powers there. After she leaves the villages, she has a strange encounter with a monk who tells her that what she's searching for is closer than she thinks, that fate changes from day to night and not even the gods can stop the will of the universe.

And surprisingly she will find out soon the meaning of the monk's words.

She walks through large valleys with wilted flowers and trees, almost dried rivers and skinny animals until she reaches the upper level.

When the night comes, TianTian is already inside the area of the cultivators. Here the situation is better because the people with spiritual powers can preserve their health and heal their wounds through cultivation but still no sign of water.

At the middle of the night, when the moon shows up on the starry sky, a shooting star falls down from the shy. The phenomenon is memorable in the people's eyes because no one has seen something similar before. They start believing that either is a good sign, either is a bad one and they were halfly right. When the star falls in the direction of the residences of the rulers, TianTian's magical compass moves and indicates that place. She now knows that in that very moment when the moon illuminates all the mountains, the rainbow bird was reborn in the human world. Yes, indeed, on the peak of the central mountain, inside the royal family two twins are born; a boy and a girl. The girl is as beautiful as a lotus flower and the boy is as charming as a pheonix.Two beautiful jewleries are born but one of them has a shining coloured birthmark on its forehead, so the astrologers and the elders of the family start believing that is a ill omen and decide to drown the child with the strange mark on the head.To save him, his mother finds a newborn child and replaces hers with that one.The crazy elders sacrifice that child to calm the spirits of the ancestors.

The birthmarked child is secretly sent out with an old servant woman who was retiring because of her age.The old woman is a weak cultivator who can not obtain an immortal body after leaving this world, that's why she decides to spend the rest of her days down at the foot of the village so that later on she will be reincarnated into a flower, animal or any other form of life.

And now that the child is sent out from the peak of the Tianmen mountain, our goddess has more chances to bump into the rainbow bird's reincarnation than before.
