I’m Laria and we live in a different world, my father was angry cause psylon killed my mom, psylon is the king of the ocean.

“Laria, you are getting married to kario” my father said me, kario is the son of the mayor named hunas, mr. hunas and my father are childhood friends there like brothers and they never separate

“Isn’t it to early father?” I asked my father with a calm face, I’m still 18 and I’m not yet ready to marry the guy I don’t love

“It’s been years since you’re mother died and i want you to be happy that’s why I will marry you to kario” my father said with a smiling face,

Then suddenly the bell starts ringing, psylon was here with a message

“Here’s a message to julios” julios is my father, why is psylon giving a message to my father?

“What is this for psylon” my father said with a mad face “ it’s a message for you” psylon gave the paper to my dad with a red tie on it, my father take the paper to psylon’s hand and leave

“Read the message brother julios” the mayor said to my father, while father was reading the message one of our guard just rush to us

“sir two of our guards died” “what!!” Father said and almost raised his voice

We rush outside and saw the guards with a scratch in there chest “what happened to them?” My father ask one of the guard “they suddenly collapsed with sa scratch in there chest” the guard responded

“Maybe psylon did this” the mayor said “maybe” and my father said, i think it’s not psylon how could he kill our guards

My father and mayor planed to attack psylon, there’s a small island with no trees and leaves all is sand, there going to fight there

As my father entered my room I asked him something, “what are you doing?” “Where planing to attack psylon”my father respond “can’t you stop fighting” “HOW!! PSYLON KILLED YOUR MOTHER!! HE CANT PAY YOUR MOTHERS LIFE!!!” As he raised his voice I flinched and can’t say anything,

“Honey I’m sorry I raised my voice to you i just can’t control my madness to him” when he was about to hold me i ran outside as fast as i can, no one ever try to follow me so i stop, it was raining and there was a cave

I was about to enter the cave when i saw a mermaid tail, the tail was beautiful the color was nice so i walk towards to it slowly, when i saw a man laying down with scratch on his chest, the scratch on his chest is the same as the scratch on our guards

I was about to go when he grabbed my hand and said “don’t leave me” the he suddenly collapsed, i don’t know what to do, i use my strength to let him inside the cave and grab some leaves

I healed him with the leave and I create a fire in the cave the cave has water connected to the ocean, I looked to the water and saw how deep is it

Any minutes later he woke up and said “who are you!?” He was angry, bruhh i just saved your life “I’m Laria the daughter of Julios” “Julios is your father” he asked “yes” I responded, he suddenly felt pain in his chest, I Immediately grabbed the leaves

He looked at me, his eyes was so beautiful, his eyes was green, then he suddenly looked away, “can i asked” he said “of course” I replied “why are you angry to us mermaids?”

When he asked that i was blanked but i still answer his question “you creatures killed my mom” “what!?” He was a bit shocked “psynia, my mothers name is psynia” i almost raised my voice

“we didn’t kill your mother” i was shocked “impossible!!” And then I raised my voice “I didn’t mean to raise my voice” “i only know is your mother helped my father when your father saw them, your father shot you mother, that’s all i know”

I was shocked of what he said, I can’t believe my father shot my mother his own wife, he suddenly swam in the water “wait i need to ask something!?” I jumped in the water I can’t see anything i just saw he’s tail glowing and he turned around saw me drowning

He suddenly swam to me and saved me “Are you crazy!!, what if I didn’t notice you huh? Do you want to die!?” He said worriedly “i just want to know your name” saying those words panting “my name is synden” he said “synden the son of psylon” “yes, i better go now goodbye Laria” and swam

I was walking straight home when i saw my father telling the guards to find me, when my father saw me walk towards them “no need to find me” while walking towards my tent, my father followed me

“Where have you been?” He asked worried “somewhere you don’t know” I replied “is that how you speak to your father” with raising voice, i just stayed silent cause i know what’s gonna happened

“Don’t you dare go out to your tent” with angry voice and went out, I’m just laying at my bed when one of the maids entered, “hi ma’am, your father wanted to give this food to you” she said “just leave it there” I replied, i still notice that she still looking at me

“Why are you still here?” I asked “ well,uhmm… there’s a mermaid who wanted to gave you a letter when your father saw us and took the letter and tear it unto pieces” i was shocked, how dare he do that “did you read the letter?” i asked “no” she replied

“But before your father tear it up i read somthing” “what is it?” “It says meet me at the cave” when the maid said it I grabbed my stuff and sneak out

as I arrived at the place we must meet, i saw my father with a guard and saying “ if you saw a mermaid come here kill it” what is dad doing, i saw synden watching how the guards doing

I suddenly reach him “synden” “Laria” i saw him with an angry face “it’s your fault” i was shocked “what!!?” “It’s your fault that’s why your father is in a war with my father don’t you know that my father is in a bad condition” when he said that my tears suddenly fall

I don’t know why my tears falls, “don’t you dare see me again I don’t want to see you again” he said and leave “wait stop SYNDEN!!!” I was crying “let me explain” i heard a footsteps it was my father

“Take her and lock her up” i felt empty after what happened, when they locked me up I didn’t do anything i just sit, when i heard mr hunas said “we will kill all those mermaids especially the son of paylon” i delt a bit worried when i heard that

Mr. hunas walks toward me and said “i will be happy if you will marry my son, he is better than that mermaid guy of yours you wedding will be tomorrow”

I have nothing to do but to follow what they said even tho i felt something for synden,

Julios arrived in the island with Mr. hunas, psylon already arrived at the island with his guards they turned inyo human, like a normal human they have feet and they can walk I didn’t know they can turn into human

They started to fight, i was doing nothing when there’s a girl who attacked the guards one of the girl ran towards me “you, get up we need to go!” “Go where?” I asked

“In the battle field, our king psylon is in a bad condition, and synden is the one will fight with kario” what!? Kario, he has a secret moves i saw him how he fight with others he has this tricky moves and I don’t think synden can handle him

We were about to ho out when the rain started to drop, “hold your breath, were hoing to swim” i hold my breath and we swam, when we swam i saw how beautiful the ocean was i felt something in it like I’ve been here before

After any seconds we arrived i saw kario and synden fighting i was running towards them to stop them, when suddenly synden was shot, i gasped i saw my father shot him

I ran fast and blocked synden “you dare shot him again“you dare shot him again” i said angrily “Laria what are you doing” synden said “don’t worry I’m here” i said crying “laria get out of the way” kario said while panting “don’t you dare hurt him how dare you shot him did he do something wrong” “all of them did something wrong, they killed your mother, my WIFE!!!” My father said angrily with high voice
