I was born at midnight , in a cold building filled with silence. I was born in the dark with only the stars illuminating the world ... and the city lights. My mom was a professional dancer, my father a CEO . My mother had the ability to ease pain ... PAIN. The word is no stranger to me , not anymore . My father had a strength ability, he was really strong . He had fallen in love with her , many had . She was beautiful , she also eased their pain through dance. She had fallen for my father , because he was attractive and he had a charming personality. They loved each other more than anything. When I was born , they loved me more than anything. You must be confused when I say ability ... everyone was given an ability , a superpower . Some people could use the elements such as wind , others could have abilities that had to do with cooking ...Most abilities were different . They differed for most people. Abilities could be used for good and evil. Ability users and Ability destructors.

I was born in a family of CEO's , it was fierce and overwhelming . Assassinations took place almost everyday , with them trying to assassinate me . The siblings fought for the approval of Yuri ... the siblings mother . The siblings consisted of three girls and three boys... the girls were Yuki , Vivi and Iris . The boys were Xen , Ven and Yuno ... my father .

I grew up with my parents ... they were always so ... odd , but they loved me . My mom would dance with me in her arms , if I got hurt , she would ease the pain. My father always threw me up in the sky and then caught me ... my mom always scolded him , he was reckless . When I was still young , they went somewhere on a business trip, but never returned . The siblings hated me and many assassinations occured , Iris protected me from all those assassinations , her ability had to do with flowers ...nature . Don't be fooled , it was a strong ability . An ability that could torture you to death or instantly kill you. Iris and my father were not only siblings but best friends, and she loved me , she made sure that I was safe. Iris had no children of her own so she treated me like I was her child.

Iris: Violet , breakfast is ready you'll be going to Magic Glass tomorrow !

Magic glass was a place which everyone was required to attend once they reached the age 20 , rich and poor .

Violet: Do I have to ... I dont have ...

Iris: Violet , you have to . You'll be safe there .

She uses her magic to create a flower and places it in my hair .

Violet: Okay ...

When I was in danger , Iris saved me. She will be going soon , CEO business . There will be no one to protect me , I would probably be killed if I don't go to Magic Glass . Magic Glass has protected dorms and rules you must follow . No one will be able to harm me, unless it's a duel .

The servants are skilled assassins who follow orders , they are dangerous. The servant looks at me , I look away .

We enter the room , the siblings gathered in Yuri's dangerous room. The air suffocates me . Yola , Vivia , Yuki , Ian , Udine and me ... our parents are one of the siblings . Yuri enters , her presence ice cold .

Yuri: Tomorrow , some of you will be attending Magic Glass . Do not fight in public . And those already attending , help the others out ... you will be punished if you go against me . The only time you can fight in public is when you duel . This is all I have to say.

Ian was the only one who didn't hate me , but his parents did, so sometimes he couldn't help me at all .

Yola: Ian ... you keep meddling , why do you defend her ? You should be defending me . I'll leave for now but this is not over , she will die ... by my hands .

She smiles. Ian glares at her , she smiles a sinister smile at me , it mocks and taunts me. Ian looks at me , his eyes apologetic , he smiles gently as if to comfort me . He walks out , I alone in the room , cry . I run out of the building . My eyes burned as I cried. I was too timid , always getting bullied . It hurt . They hated me . To be honest , I was scared too , that they would kill me , that Iris would leave and Ian would bully me like the others . The wind blew in my hair as l continued running .

I rested on one of the seats gazing at the sea , the beach was beautiful at night . How it captivated everyone. I smiled , my tear stained face sort of pretty as I looked into my reflection . I had gotten up and was now looking at my reflection in the water .I walk to the seat and sit down as sigh.

The lady: You have been crying .

I jump up and look at the person standing , she's covered in a coat , her face masked but I sense no danger from her .

The lady: Why so sad ?

She sits down and gestures for me to sit next to her , I do .

Violet: Do I have to be sad for a specific reason ?

She stays quiet , she thought I would say something else .

The lady: People usually are .

I stare at the sea .

Violet: I am , but sometimes I don't have one .

The lady: I'm curious , what's your name ?

Violet: My name is Violet Vine .

The lady: Violet ... Like the colour of your hair ...

I stare at her , my hair ... The colour of Violet . It was a strange colour , this lady seems strange as well .

Violet: You are strange.

She looks at me and I find myself laughing in the dark . She laughs with me.

The lady: You should laugh more ... it's getting dark , how long will we gaze at the sea ?

Violet: The sea ... I will stay here and wait ...

The lady: Wait for what ?

Violet: To smile , the sea makes me smile . We used to come here . When looking at the sea , I feel lonely . Then I don't because the sea has so much life living in it .

She walks away ... strange .

I sit and gaze at the sea ... the sounds , calming . I smile . I will no longer continue to be bullied . I don't have powers, I'll become strong nevertheless , to be able to live . The others have have powers that's why I am hated . I breathe. Hate is a dangerous word , because hate is all the love inside you , you can't express .They hate me , I love them , I hate them .

The wind starts to blow , the sea becomes restless . It's cold . Whhishhhhhhh , whishhhhhhhhhhh. The sea whispers to me .

The whispers become more and the wind envelopes me . A light purple aura blinds me , the aura becomes vivid .Everything freezes, I find myself in a void , the whispers strong . I walk gently on the ice , scared it might break. I'm in a light blue dress , the wind gently blowing . I dance to the wind , the whispers . I laugh . As I dance, everything becomes more vivid , more cold . The dress become a Violet colour and with that , I stop . Whishhhhhhhhhhh , it stops . My eyes open, I sit wide eyed . What just happened ? I stand up and all of sudden ... The wind flows around me . I breathe , it stops ... I run back home . I go to my room , lock the door , get in bed . My eyes wide open ...I look at the time , it's midnight .

I'm awake , I couldn't sleep last night. I'm just ... It was strange , but I loved it . My eyes hurt , bags formed ... probably. I get out of bed ... I go to bathroom and remove my clothing. The bruise on my back , blue and black . The water hot as it washes over me . It becomes cold and I find myself welcoming the feeling . I get dressed . I search my cupboard for some ointment and bandages...I get bullied , so I have cupboards full of bandages and ointment . I could ask Iris to heal me , it would go faster but I don't . I dry my hair and leave it loose , not having energy to style it .

The Dining Room is in the main kitchen . I don't eat with the others ... I eat in the kitchen in a large compartment of the building , Iris complex . It's safer .

Iris: What happened to you ? You stayed up last night? You knew you would be attending Magic Glass today !

She rushes to me , her hands begin to glow .

Iris: Heal !

The light gently wraps itself around my eyes , the dark circles gone .She stares at me intently .

Iris: Who hurt you ?

Violet: What ?

Iris: I healed your whole body just to make sure that you're okay .There was a bruise on your back . Who hurt you ?

I sigh and then smile at her ... Worry wart .

Violet: I'm okay , thanks for healing me . I won't see you for a while once I get there , I'll be living in the protected dorms . Let's eat now , don't worry , I'm okay.

The limo stops outside of Green Glass , all of us step out . We walk into the school yard , I walk away from the others , I won't pretend . As I walk around the the premises , I see different people using their abilities . I try to familiarise myself with their abilities ... habit . I'm walking around when someone bumps into me ... I lose my balance and all of a sudden , a tree catches me ... It steadies me .

I look at her ... she's so pretty .I smile .

The girl: My names Val , nice to meet you .

Violet: I'm Violet , it's nice to meet you.

I think at night when no one can see me ... I think about things that I tell no one ... it's a habit .
