Strange dream
These purple flashing lights, a cold aura, once again..
Why do I keep remembering these strange things which never happened but always seems like it did.
A trembling voice of a girl is all I could here.. She's shivering at the sight.
All the vehicles are floating in the thin air as if a force is retrieving them from getting down.
And it seems like... I am controlling that force.
With a jolt a man woke up from the strange dream he keeps having frequently and that sure did frustrate him.
He ruffled his hairs and looked around at the mess created by him the previous day at his small sized room.
While sighing he got up from his bed.
Yeonjun
(What the hell is this dream?!)
Yeonjun
(It's so vivid like that actually happened.. it's more like a memory than a dream)
He brought his hands up to his sight and stared at them.
Yeonjun
(I should stop watching those sci-fi shows, that's just a strange dream created by my brain hah..)
He shoved away the thoughts of it and picked up his mobile to see a notification from last night.
He opened it and saw that it was from an online dating app, due to his male instincts he got excited and saw that he had been matched with someone.
Yeonjun
Heavens finally listened to me!
He looked up at the profile of the woman, he zoomed on her photo unable to move his eyes.
The photo of that woman was too mesmerizing to be real, dark blonde hairs which had some waves at the end, with greyish eyes, her gaze was fierce, the features of her face were defined and strong.
Yeonjun
That's too beautiful to be real, she's not catfishing me is she?
He saw she had already texted him last night but he was fast asleep to see.
"Hey Yeonjun, I took a look at your profile. You seem like an interesting guy haha!"
Yeonjun
Well, a reply won't hurt.
He ticked on his phone and replied her.
"Hey there, I'm sorry I couldn't read your text last night. And thank you! so do you."
It took less than a minute for her to see his message.
Yeonjun
Wow that was damn fast.
"It's alright, let's get to know each other if that's fine."
He replied with a sure and went to freshen himself up.
While he was brushing his teeth...

(Her profile shows she lives nearby, but i haven't ever saw her.)
Yeonjun
(And if I did, how the heck can I not notice her then?!)

(So much to digest at once!)
He gargled with water and went back after washing his face.

The man sitting in front of him chuckled softly.
Yeonjun
Then why do you keep laughing?!
Soobin
That's how I am, I'm happy for you of course.
Yeonjun sipped his morning coffee with a playful look of suspicion.
Soobin
So when are you meeting her then?
Yeonjun
It's not even been two hours since I last texted with her, and you're asking me to meet her already?
Soobin
You said she seemed too pretty to be real so I thought you might be excited aren't you?
Yeonjun
That's a different thing!
They laughed and continued with their breakfast in silence for a bit when Yeonjun broke it.
Yeonjun
Do you remember about the dream that I told you about?
Soobin
Oh... that something flying and all?
Yeonjun
Yeah. I had it again today.
Soobin
And? It's not a big deal. Why're you so concerned about a mere dream?
Yeonjun
I know I shouldn't be so concerned about it.. but that dream looks like more than that.
Soobin paused while eating looking at him.
Yeonjun
Like, I don't know how to explain, it just feels like a memory a weird feeling which bounces whenever I dream about that scene.
Yeonjun
There are purple flashing lights, flying vehicles, a faint sound of someone weeping..
Soobin
If atleast it was something realistic I could've given it a thought but come on, flying vehicles? That's next to impossible, unless it's a airplane.
Yeonjun
Why'd you visit me early in the morning though?
He put the spoon down and his eyes wandered around.
Soobin
Actually yesterday..
Soobin
Someone was finding you.
Yeonjun
Someone was finding me? Who?
Yeonjun
But how do you know?
Soobin
I was in my room while making dinner at around eight p.m., when somebody rang the bell, I opened and found a tall man-
He chuckled and asked him to continue.
Soobin
He was wearing a mask and a black cloak, I couldn't see his face at all, he asked me whether I knew you.
Soobin
He seemed unusual and you probably won't know him, so I denied that I knew you.
Soobin
And without saying anything he left just like that.
Soobin
Nope. There was something unusual and suspicious about him, and it could've been dangerous.
Soobin
So just be careful..
Yeonjun
Hmm okay... but that's very weird, who could possibly wanna meet me?
There was notification ding sound in the silence, Yeonjun took out his phone and saw the text from the same girl.
"We live nearby each other, shall we meet?"

Is this the place?
He looked at the fancy building in front of him puzzled.
He wandered around for sometime to find anyone present there.
Yeonjun
(But there is no one here...)
Yeonjun
(Did I just got stood up by her?!)
He sighed in frustration and decided to leave not finding any sign of the girl.
He stopped midst is steps and turned around..
He froze in his place looking at the person, he knew that she looked different through photo but she was much more mesmerizing than he could imagine, he didn't realise when his mouth was hung open in shock, but the woman remained indifferent.
He didn't speak a word, probably too lost to say anything.
Heejin
You can shut down your mouth before a fly goes in it.
He snapped out of his world and looked away embarrassed.
Yeonjun
I-I was waiting for so long.
Heejin
I was inside the restaurant, and I asked you to come inside but you kept finding me here.
Yeonjun
Uh- is it so...? haha... I didn't notice...
He laughed awkwardly without making any eye contact.
Heejin
Shall we go in now?

He gazed at every corner of the restaurant in awe, he had never seen such a fancy place before, people were chattering lightly and some ballad music was playing in background accompanied by light clinking of utensils.
He again looked at Heejin carefully observing her, it was hard to read her expressions as if she didn't had any, she was silently drinking the fruit wine elegantly, he wondered if she was that rich to be able to afford such a place.
There was silence between them for first few moments no one speaked anything, but while Heejin seemed calm, Yeonjun's heart was throbbing with nervousness.
Heejin suddenly kept her glass of wine down and stared straight in Yeonjun's eyes, and with a straight face which she had, asked him..
Heejin
What are you so nervous about?
Yeonjun
H-Huh?! I'm not nervous..!
Yeonjun
(How did she know, I'm not even making it obvious!)
Yeonjun
(Is she an Empath* or what?!)

Yeonjun was taken aback by her statement, he looked at her surprised.

(Did she just read my mind?!)
Yeonjun suddenly stood up making the creaking sound of chair moved backwards.
People present there looked at him with annoyed expressions but he couldn't care less about it.
Heejin
As expected, we need to go to a quieter place.
She sighed and asked him to come with her, he hesitantly followed or more precisely his curiosity made him follow her.

She streched out her hands and inhaled the fresh air.
She turned around facing him.
Heejin
I'm not an alien that you're asking "what" am I.
Heejin
I'm a human, like you, like everyone else.
Yeonjun
H-How can you read my mind back then?!
Heejin
It's one of my abilities too.
He shook his head desperately in confusion.
Heejin
You are confused as f*ck, I know.
Heejin
Why do you think I would ask you to meet me?
Heejin
