Welcome to my second try at making a Chatstory. - NorShaTa -

I've a lot of other Chatstory writers make something like this so I'm trying it out.

NorShaTa

I would like to introduce the main (and probably only) characters of this Chatstory. I will be using their chat icons when introducing them.

Start of Introduction

Marianne Houvre

Name: Marianne Houvre Title: Lady of Truth Favorite Hobby: Reading Books Favorite Food: Sweets and Mushroom Soup

Marianne Houvre

Background Description: An ordinary daughter of a small Baron with a peculiar beauty. You won't notice her beauty unless she looks you in the eye. But she is too shy to look other people in the eye so almost no one, except a select few, knew how beautiful she truly looks like.

Title Background: She was granted with grace from the Goddess for never telling a single lie her entire life. She was granted with a holy and noble title, a small barony, an abundant amount of wealth, and the protection of an Elite Temple Knight Squad.

France Evans

Name: France Evans Title: The Sword of Dawn Favorite Hobby: Sword practice, Horsemanship, Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, Farming Favorite Food: Anything that is Edible

France Evans

Background Description: A blessed and talented temple knight born from a poor commoner family. He awakened his blessing at the age of seven and was taken by the temple to be raised as a templar knight since then. He looks noble and kind but he is the most twisted amongst his comrades.

France Evans

Title Background: At the age of fourteen, he joined a templar crusade against barbarian invaders. Due to the incompetency of their legion leader, they were massacred until only a few remained. France led his remaining comrades and led them not only to survive but also to defeat the barbarians using merely relying on tactics and his guts. They prayed as they fought and won against the barbarians at the break of down. Not a single enemy survived.

What led for their fates to become closely tied.

Marianne Houvre

Reason: Marianne refused the assistance of knights loyal to or associated with the strongest Saintess candidate. The said Saintess candidate hated her for having more qualifications to become a Saintess. The only one who openly opposed the said Saintess was France who was ostracized for his commoner background. She accepted France's oath and set off to the place where she believes she was 'exiled' to at the behest of a certain Saintess candidate.

France Evans

Reason: His achievements made him a torn to the templar officials' side. They wished he had died in the war against the barbarians. France was troubled and wanted to protect himself, his family, and his loyal comrades. His only option was to earn the promise of the Lady of Truth to not harm them. He made a deal with the Lady of Truth and swore and oath to her before they set off to settle in very far and isolated barony in the east.

Settings of the Story

A short interlude from the Author.

The setting of the story would be the Small Barony of Thames in the distant lands of Barnack.

NorShaTa

Barnack is almost a barren land except for the flowing river of Londre across its premises. I imagine the river looking like the picture below.

NorShaTa

Several oasis will be mentioned in the story and it looked like the pictures below.

NorShaTa

The habitable premises of the Barony of Thames is build around a giant oasis found close to the middle of the desert. A sample of a small town near an oasis is below.

An agricultural area or oasis in a desert which will be mentioned in the story is similar to the picture below.

NorShaTa

A special oasis area that will be found in the story along the river of Londre is similar to the picture below.

NorShaTa

The appearance of the small oasis where Marianne's small vacation villa near the international boarders will be built is below.

The architecture of the commoners' houses or abodes should be what is shown below.

The Royal Castle architecture is shown below.

NorShaTa

I wanted something like the one below.

NorShaTa

But my heart said it wasn't practical especially during sand storms so I chose the Jordan Castle architecture for reference. ( ╹▽╹ )

As for the interiors of the palaces, villas, and houses in the story, I will leave it to your imagination.

Just a little note about the clothes.

NorShaTa

The clothes shown above will be the basis of their fashion statement when they start residing at the desert.

NorShaTa

Magic exists in the story so there is no need to worry about heat strokes and such.

I want to show another photo which is not related to the clothes of the characters.

The picture above is similar to how envision Marianne's parade out of the temple city.

When they arrived in the desert, they switched to riding camels.

NorShaTa

The entourage is similar to the picture below except that more people are traveling with them. Both the knights and their families.

NorShaTa

Marianne will be riding on big camel being pulled by France across the desert slowly.

NorShaTa
