This story narrates one of those creatures which are said to be the world's most dangerous organisms Human ****beings**** .

There are many myths and legends in our world some believes them and some don't believes them . Wheather they are fictionay or not we people always enjoy hearing them...

This is a fictional story to give you the pleasure that I experienced while writting .

We all living organisms wear many types of mask to live or blend in the surrounding of this world so it could conceal it's presence from danger just like chamalion on the tree bark .

Like this many of us live our life wearing a mask every day, minutes and seconds....

She was the daughter of a rich and loving father .It was a cute family of three ,very soon she was going to become big sister and it would have become a complete family .Her father was happy with his daughter as she was child bethorated to one of the influencial family of K city which doubled his profits . She was the dotted daughter until everything collapsed after their arival which made her life complete opposite from being the loved daughter to ignored daughter to her father.

He was the son of darkness and the king of night . He acts normal and keeps a low profile while controlling the overpowering powers of this world because human's long forgotten these creatures existence.

They never thought a day would come their thorny mask would be shattered....

***HAUNTING MEMORIES***

It was a sunny day she was sitting on a bright orange mat which had a basket full of fruits, and her favourite delicacy and a place with a view of green fields till eyes reach. Someone was tying her poney tail.

She turned smiling and exclaimed happily "Mama you are so beautiful and dazzling just like the sun ".

Her mom smiled at her lovingly "No no my daughter is the most beautiful girl and deserves to be called as bright as sun and... " then she stoped midway and went silent which made the little girl more confused.

The little girl went closer to her mother and held her face between her tiny hands and looked at her worriedly her mom smiled at her gently and hugged her lovingly "is my Little doll trying to console your mama".

The little girl smiled " yes mama because you do this to Jane when I am upset over something , I learned this from mama " she said shyly while hugging her mother back.

She lifted her daughter's face lovingly that's when she noticed that even though her daughter's face was in shade there was a calm and gentle light radiating from her face that she could almost see her red cheeks , for a moment she was stunned and unconsciously said "moon light ". The little girl once again looked confused and looked at her mom to understand what she said. Her mom smiled " sun can only be brighter during day time but my daughter is even brighter in shade as well as gentle just like moon ". They both stared at each other lovingly. But suddenly every thing changed .Her mother fainted in front of her and started to cry in pain , little Jane was shocked and started to cry and asked her not to play fooling game again .

Little Jane was trembling with an overwhelming fear as her mother didn't reponded to her . She then used her little delicate hands and with all her strength she turned her mom . She was shocked to see her " Ohhnoo mama !!! Whhhaaat whhtt wht??? How could this be..." she was shocked to see her loving and beautiful moms face was covered in blood . She raised her trembling hands to touch her mother but suddenly her mother's body moved a little and she twisted her face in pain then opened her eyes but before she could reply to the cries of little Jane, she vomitted blood. Jane who was already trembling in fear was now even more scared to touch her but still she tried to her mother who was lying there covered in blood and half consciousness. " Mama Jane is scared very scared... please talk to me pllleease......"

Her mother then reached out to touch her precious little girl's hands ,though she was in pain she caresed her gentaly before opening her mouth " My dear little doll this world is ferocious.. , you , you must promise mama that you will be careful ,and take care of yourself and and you will never believe anyone easily.... promisee meee...this take this " she said as she handed her a ugly mask " thankfully I have this which will save you from those vicious people now I...I amm.... " . Her hands fell to the ground and her eyes closed now . " Mama " "mama " "please stay with me please don't leave me alone , I am scared of loneliness " .

She cried though her her eyes and throat were dry. " Mama...,Mama please talk to me please ,please I won't be able to sleep without hugging you and without your good night kisses please, please.... " her cries went distant .

Suddenly she heard a strange sound and her eyes shot opened. She sat up quickly and was sweating then she turned to her phone which was vibrating while making loud noise. She holded her head in her hands and tried to relax a little .

" Oh , so it was you stupid alarm ,I really hate the you but thanks to you I woke up from that hellish dream which always keep's haunting me even now yet why can't I dream something that every normal person do , say mama is it a warning you keep on giving me so I won't forget your words".

She got out off the bed to get ready for today's class and then as for the last step she went to her dressing table and looked at her reflection and took out a box and started to apply it's content on her face . She used them like a professional then she again looked at herself in the mirror and was totally transformed into different person her beautiful red cheek is now replaced with a scar that looked deep, and blackish in colour and her hair covering half of her face .

" Finally I am ready to be off to the class ". She picked up the books she needed to return to the library and went to open the door but then she turned around and looked back

" byee homie " and left after locking the door.

Jane was walking to get to the nearest subway station of S city. The people walking and passing by Jane would look at her face but Jane walked by them as she is used these type of treatment.

Some looked with disgust , and some with pity while some would keep a distance from her as to not touch her and quietly looked out from a window near her seat .

She looked out to try her best to ignore their stare but even so a guy near her smirked at her and the way every people treated her , this made her feel irritated.

She thought *aren't you guys being too much you don't need to stare for so long even if you guys are looking at me for your so called entertainment * .

She took out her phone, smiled and typed but actually she setted an alarm , it's ringtone and placed her phone back into her bag. Her alarm rang loudly and she took it out of her bag until everyone was looking at her .

She picked it up and pretended to be talking on phone " Hey hii , sorry.. oh come on I said I am sorry, it took me a little while to pick up your call... Hey it's just I was busy wondering why people would keep looking at me... " "yeah you are may be right it because I am different from normal girls or may be it's because I used a little to much of make up and beautified myself to the extent that guys here and there are all looking at me other than there dates or wife and those women are looking at me with envyy now . I feel like a Cinderella in lime light and know what a guy even smiled at me... oohkkie I will talk to you later and will tell you everything ... byee" . Everyone near her were shocked to hear

* huh now shocked this is good but not satisfying* , they never thought she would take it this way and some guys looked apologetically towards their girl. Some guys went to the other corner of the compartment like their life was on stake while some were bullied secretly by their girlfriends and wife . Jane enjoyed this show from the corner of her eyes and was trying hard to not smile. Then she looked at the guy who smiled mockingly at her who was now standing far away from her and feeling satisfied she smiled mockingly while looking him in the eye " Mhumhu " .

That's when she heard another stifling sound coming from behind her she turned to have look and saw a guy in hoodie with a face mask looking at her and enjoying the show .

She felt as if that guy could read her thoughts running through her head and that thought was really irritating to her.

She puffed her cheeks and pouted feeling being seen through and kind of disappointed with anger.

She turned away from him and looked at her phone when she realised she was staring at him . " whatever..."
