Anonym & Switch, Obtaining Power To Retaliate (Complete)

Prologue

On a planet, known as Roneglaise, there happens to be a separate way of life. People generalize this as 'cultivation' and in cultivating you can become stronger in both your perspective talent and person. There are lush forests that have magical beasts and money isn't the only kind of payment, as there are special magical stones acquired from magical beasts, that can help with cultivation, making them quite highly desired with everybody. There are many profession talents that people can cultivate in, but for most people, only one per person is able to be obtained.

For instance, you could become a Shape Shifter and be able to change your body into other things upon learning them. And if you are a Shape Shifter, you will not be able to learn any other profession talent, like Psychology...But you would be able to grow in your chosen talent as you can cultivate your own Intelligence, Strength or others to help you. Under these profession talents are sub contents that would take many years to learn. Shapeshifting isn't just about turning into an animal, but upon acquiring more knowledge you could also turn into another human, which would be harder. Then beyond that, Shapeshifters could change other things, such as a rock, into water. Learning this would obviously take decades, and is a very high skill to learn.

Cultivating talents also depend on how popular it is and if they are even still around. Many talents have nearly disappeared, leaving them a lot harder to obtain, as the people with the knowledge would ask for a great deal to let one person learn from them. Then, some don't have a choice to choose their talent as they are born with their talent already, which happens every couple of generations.

There is the occasional one in a thousand, who can learn that of two talents. Of course, obtaining a person as such as to be able to learn more than one talent is always used with force. Sadly, many commoners who can have two talents happen to be forcefully taken and then mind controlled so that they don't run away from those who had captured them. This is a reason why many clans have someone that has the talent of Psychology, and then under that mastered the art of Mind Controlling.

There are even more rare occasions, of one in ten or even twenty thousand, that people are able to do three talents and wars could be started across the lands of Roneglaise because of this. To obtain those people, that they think of as nothing but an asset, they want to greedily own them for themselves and that of their own clan.

There are a few lucky people, who can cultivate more than one talent, that are safely already within the royal families of one of the four major continents, but for those poor unfortunate others, they are taken and live their life not even being able to think their own thoughts.

When a talent is chosen, they can enhance it with their own personal cultivation, which would be Strength, Dexterity, Intellect and a few others. For instance, the ladies in this land tend to greatly cultivate 'Grace' through doing art, music, literacy and needlework. Through improving their cultivation in Grace, they would also improve slightly in their profession talent. For that reason, quite a few ladies would pick to cultivate the talent of Art, to further their basic skills and to connect their talent and personal cultivation together.

It has become quite common that people would cultivate towards their talent to help themselves get a better job or be known as someone that would be qualified to higher their clan’s status. Of course, it isn't easy to cultivate your Strength and others, as it is very vigorous training that only gets harder and harder as you go.

For this reason, it is very common for families to have their children do something that they already know and have the resources for. As for a family that knows how to cultivate the talent of Thrifty, would have their children follow them and become governors for the royals or businessman, like they themselves. Which is why the reason that they were still using the technique of marrying their children to another clan to help their own clans gather more resources for themselves.

Another good reason for this type of way of life was, with the chance that children who have been born unintelligent, weak or sick can get smarter, stronger and healthier by personal cultivating, to give them the chance of a better life.

We begin now, with an old man who was running out of time before their death. They were enjoying somewhat of a retirement as they had ventured into a long life of cultivating the talent of Spiritual Wisdom, in which he had mastered the art of Soul Scribing.

Suddenly, his old head became full of knowledge of past life's and past worries. Indeed, he had now been reincarnated many, many times and for so long he had wanted to learn exactly what he had finally mastered in this life.

Before he could celebrate his mission, as it had taken him many, many centuries to finish, he could already feel his life slipping away. There was no time to ponder on anything else but to use the art of Soul Scribing his soul, with his remaining energy.

Relaxing with his last breaths, the old, white haired man smiled. Finally, he will remember!

(A bit of information for the cultivation in this novel)

Personal Cultivation

(For the person's body, more than one at a time can be cultivated at the same time. Everyone can cultivate each of these.)

Stamina: Based on Endurance. To cultivate, take blows and recuperate and forcing yourself to endure without sleep or running for a longer period, stuff like that.

Dexterity: Based on Agility (being quick). To cultivate, best way is to fight with eyes closed and with real swords, push oneself to run fast many, many times. Hardest personal cultivation to train, besides Power.

Intellect: Based on Greater Intelligence and cleverness. To cultivate, is to play harder and harder opponents with chess/go/etc. Overcoming situations with words, and reading old scripts and understanding them.

Strength: Based on Strength, obviously. To cultivate, fight with pressured cuffs on feet and hands, making the pressured cuffs heavier and heavier as you cultivate Strength more and more.

Power: Based on Power, (With power it can make it easier to cultivate your talent/s and when you use your talent, Power enhances your talent as well). To cultivate, the only way is to use magical stones! So, it’s not only expensive but can be deadly. The idea is to steal the power out of the magical stone, but it’s like a tug of war because the stone fights back. If the stone wins, you die and the stone is upgraded to a higher degree magical stone.

Proficiency: Based on being able to cultivate talent/s quickly. To cultivate, is to repeatedly cultivate something repeatedly. It is still worth cultivating Proficiency because it can cut five years or more into learning your talent/s and arts. There is also more of a chance to cultivate and master two lots of arts under a talent, instead of only mastering one.

Stability: Based on Resistance to change. To cultivate, the government might interrogate the guards using pain to make sure they are 100% loyal (Yes, people do this and it is a wanted talent.) Obviously, something that can be cultivated with Stamina. This is wanted mostly for guards who protect the royal family.

Grace: Based on beautiful form. To cultivate, the normal arts like art, music, literacy and needlework, also, always acting 'graceful'. Could be learnt by men, but many don’t bother. For a girl to marry, this cultivation is mostly always wanted.

Senses: Based on the five senses. To cultivate the five senses, meditation for hearing, food for taste, Blindfolding for both hearing, feel and taste, etc, obviously something preferred for many professions. Trappers need to cultivate Senses more so then a Mind Controller.

Talent Cultivation

(Can learn more than one art under a talent. Some are born with a specific talent.)

Spiritual Wisdom: About communicating better with souls or minds. For the most part, meditation is how you cultivate it. Under Spiritual Wisdom is Soul Scribing, which is looked upon very well, as you can be a priest or inscribe weapons (It scribes directly upon your soul). Also under Spiritual Wisdom is the art of Reincarnation. This art is very hard to obtain now and every time you reincarnate you lose all your memories. Any kind of religious arts are under this as well.

Thrifty: Resourceful and economical, wanted for people who are governors. To cultivate this one is mostly going through books to learn and then a more business approach afterwards. Many shopkeepers and merchants have this talent. Normally the people who come up with new ideas to do something better or easier are also under this talent, the art of Creation. The art of Source, also under this talent, is a person who can find materials (like iron or gold) easier. It’s the best talent to become rich.

Psychology: Not spiritual, but still on the mind. More so the brain. This art has the art of Mind Control under it, very popular art. This talent also has a mind blocker art that can stop one from being mind controlled. The art of Invisibility is under Psychology. The best strategist comes from this talent. Also, this is a dark talent, because of the art of Mind sacrifice, which can hypnotize, create tumours and make someone crazy.

Goods Smith: Making and forging weapons, buildings and goods. To master in daggers, you cultivate the Dagger Weaponsmith path, etc. Under this is the art of Infusing, which can add personal cultivation to your personal weapon. Also, under Goods Smith, is the art of Building. Obviously, people who are to build houses and tables and chairs the best are under this talent. Very popular talent.

Chemistry: Mixing of materials. The art of Cooking is easily improved through cooking and eating. The art of Alchemy has a few branches as well that lead into the art of Flasks, Transmutes, Pills or Poisons. The art of Cosmetics is also under Chemistry.

Biology: Based on the body. The art of Reproduction, rare but wanted, especially for any kind of royal family. Others under this talent is, the art of Healing and the art of Rejuvenation. The art of Shapeshifting also.

Traveller: The art of Trapping, obviously trapping and one that can detect traps. For people who roam around, and also, The art of Tracking is under Traveller. More people tend to take this talent to endure extreme weather conditions (Glazechill continent is very cold and snows, having the talent Traveller, the cold would not harm you even half as much and you would be able to walk on the snow easier as well, through The art of Terrain). Also, their minds on the land is very easily remembered, hardly ever getting lost through the art of Compass.

Chapter 1 ** Flaws **

As a soul had left a body, through the art of Reincarnation, it raced towards another body, where the soul had already detached itself, yet, the body was still alive. As the soul inserted itself into a new body, the earth rumbled everywhere, this was indeed a sign! Every time the earth rumbled like this throughout the whole lands of Roneglaise, some knew that someone powerful had come! It had happened sometimes twice in a lifetime but this time it had been 95 years and people who didn't know about it were a little shocked, as they fell to the trembling earth.

When the earth stopped shaking, the soul was finally complete within its new body. Greedy people started to look towards new children that were just born, to see if that powerful person was close by. Many had read upon some books of legends that had come and gone, they had been strong indeed and the books didn't have too many false truths. At least three of the books stated that the earth had trembled when this powerful person had come! And when those three people had grown and become someone...They were known throughout all of the four continents of Roneglaise!

These books were everywhere, they were even people that knew them by heart and people that wanted to become a legend themselves, just like the person in those three books!

Now, the race was on to find this person and the easiest way to look would be to see if a child had been born at the same moment that the earth had started to tremble.

But that wasn't the case for Anonym...This time, the body was that of a small girl that seemed to be of the age of ten, who had been mind controlled by the Hydra Clan. Presently, the Hydra Clan was on the continent known as Murkcloud and it was on the southern part of the planet. The reason for the name of the clan to be this, was simply because it looked like an eight-legged town on top of the water. This clan seemed to be a popular, greedy and secretive set of people. The outside looked quite normal, but in the inner parts of the town was where the main family held their most precious people who knew of the art of Mind Control. And this little girl had been mind controlled for the fact that she had a very rare talent of invisibility. This art had been born as part of her, so her talent of Psychology was already decided and she could choose no other talent. But, now that Anonym had come inside of her soulless body, Anonym was able to use her other previous life’s talents, now that she could remember them.

What seemed to be unnecessary information, was that Anonym didn't particular care for names. In the first memory she remembered, which at that time she had been a male, there wasn't even a name given to him until adulthood. And that name had been Anonym...

The reason someone had called him that, was because no one had known how he had come to be at the desolate place they had been in. Anonym also didn't have any parents, so they thought of him as anonymous…

Since, she had many names, both male and female, but had always gone back to Anonym of her own accord just before death, because of the memories that would flow through her mind.

Anonym wasn't worried that she was now female, it was far from being a thing that she was worried about. Actually, now remembering her previous life's, gender meant nothing after the first couple of times of changing from male to female and then back again. But that was the same as a lot of things, as Anonym had been reincarnated so many times, there was little that seemed to faze her now. Remembering her past, she knew that she could now finish all the other talents, that she had started to previously learn, and now she could include the art of Invisibility to her list. It was time that she let herself get excited! She felt like she was finally awake and free!

From the first moment of being complete inside of this girl's body, the body changed slightly to become healthier, as Anonym's talents started to flow through her mind. With the body being close to starvation and dehydration, Anonym knew that this little body would have probably died within the next day or two, but the soul had seemed to have perished earlier. Because in a previous life Anonym had accomplished the art of Rejuvenation, she never really had to eat or drink anymore. With knowing the next step of the art of Rejuvenation, sickness would also be something that could be recovered of quickly. That would definitely be something that Anonym would want to learn!

Ah, so much to do and learn!

As for living longer, or to stop from growing old in the first place, a previous life had mastered that already but it had never worked. That was a previous life that was indeed one of the legends that was in one of the three books!

Because it hadn't worked, people had been very sad to see the death of that previous life at that time. Anonym still is unsure why it hadn't worked and could only guess that it may not work since I will always reincarnate and that the two talents or arts can't overlap each other. That took a lot of time to think up for Anonym, and she seemed pretty sure that the reason for it. After 'figuring' it out, she had no longer cared to think about it anymore...

Now, there was too much to think about!

So, this was indeed, just the beginning...

***

From merging with the body, the Mind Control had been interrupted and her body had become free. With this, Anonym made sure to leave the immediate area so that she could figure out what she was going to do first without any interruptions. She was also a little foggy, as so much was going through her mind, time was needed to take it all in and decide on what her next plan was going to be.

She hadn't gone particularly far before she realized that she didn't know how to become visible again. Unable to see the former's memories, as they had gone to be locked within the previous body’s soul, there was nothing Anonym could do right now, except try to find the former's family or go to a record library that would be able to contain information to this kind of power.

Searching the strange surroundings, she realized this place was more like a dungeon. There were long hallways that lead in different directions with only a little bit of lighting from hanging lamps on the walls. There was a slight wind coming through the hallways, making them look and feel quite scary…But all Anonym was worried about was getting lost...

People started to run frantically around moments later and she wondered if that was because she had been set free. It was only a good thing, she thought as she followed them, they could be told about her invisibility and she'd be able to know more too!

Following behind them, the tunnel shortly ended to become a room that had a door wide opened, but looked liked it was normally locked with three enforced locks. This place was the middle of the inner section of the Hydra Clan. Walking past the two guards on each side, she continued to look, to find many people come into the room from a few different areas.

Not having to wait long, someone rushed in, stating that the invisible girl Marissa had disappeared and that they were to find her. Some were unhappy with such an impossible mission and grumbled, but the glare, from what seemed the leader of the group, stopped them short. The leader then gave out the words that Anonym had been waiting for, where it was that the former body's parents lived!

After getting a group to scout out the family, the boss continued to talk to the others but Anonym started to follow the group out and didn't bother to care what was said next.

The art of Reincarnation had flaws, one was that your memories were to be swiped clean, as they got locked inside your soul. Actually, no one else knew that they didn't vanish but instead got locked up, as Anonym hadn't the chance to tell anyone. The fact that the past becomes known just before death is a part of the art itself, but Anonym called it yet another flaw. If she could forget what had happened previously, she would probably just live and die countless times without feeling vexed about being stuck here. But before death, each time, she feels hopeless and resentful to the extreme, of having to spend such a large amount of time doing the same thing repeatedly. Quite a few times she had died to the same event or reason and that infuriates Anonym and makes her want to get revenge faster!

Countless times she had died in infancy, countless times she had died while a small child. With her talents being locked with her memories, there was no way to have been able to defend or to help prevent her death. The past experiences would always happen and while a small child, the memories would tear her apart upon remembering her past, because she felt like she had just wasted that life time.

Then, after growing older and then dying to find out that she hadn't been able to learn the art of Soul Scribing, felt like more wasted time! As it was, it had taken about a century to realize that she could use Soul Scribing to scribe her soul...To have seen some hope to finally be free of the endless lives, that felt like fate that she had no control over, a mission to learn this art had been formed. It didn't matter though, when she had been reincarnated all those thoughts were lost to her and it became a brand-new life that she had to endure not knowing until death, once again, that she hadn't done what she had wanted...It was endless torment.

Then there was one other time that she had gotten to learn the basics of Soul Scribing, but had never mastered it! Upon the realization of when her memories had returned before that life’s death, rage had built inside her so deep that the anger seemed to have merged into the next person that she had become...In that life she had taken many lives, as a man that was totally and utterly ruthless. His villainous ways rocked the whole continent that he had been on and his stories were still told today. He raped and pillaged, killed innocents and never seemed satisfied...Then, upon death, he hadn't felt guilty or felt any kind of remorse knowing of the previous memories. It had been quite a pleasant change and he had smiled in his last breath, thinking that his anger may have played a role in it. Centuries after that, she had tried to use that kind of technique again and again, but had never worked...Hopelessness had entered her thoughts every time, in finding out that she hadn't been able to reach her goal.

All this time, upon each death, she would be tormented because of a wasted life.

But, not anymore, this child's body was only ten, I would have many years to learn many things and should be closer now that I'll reincarnate and remember everything...Closer to being powerful enough to stop this endless routine!

Another flaw that she sees now, was that she was running endlessly to follow behind people with her little legs...Her personal cultivation also does not continue through the art of Reincarnation. It makes sense that it doesn’t carry on with your soul, because it is mostly about the body itself, meaning that person’s mind or body…But to Anonym, it was still a flaw!

Gasping for breath, she pushed herself to keep up with the big men, that continued to go further and further ahead of her.

Anonym knew that she would have to work first on her stamina, so that she could run longer! Or should she work on dexterity instead, so she could run faster?

Knowing that they both matter, she already started to think of a way to cultivate both at the same time.

The men were quite a distance ahead of her now and she watched as they turned around a corner and exited the town and went over a bridge, towards a place that held quite a few trees. Her breathing was becoming so difficult that Anonym fell to the ground and put her hand to her chest. There was just so much a little ten-year-old could do!

With all the talent one could possess, Anonym knew that it didn't change the fact that things could still be difficult!

Looking up, to see the men disappear into the trees ahead, she waited a brief time for her breath to become a little better. The art of Rejuvenation helped and before she was even breathing normal again, she set off towards the direction that the men continued to run in.

***

Having had lost the men she was following, Anonym was unsure how to proceed. She didn't dare go too far away from that location, as she might miss them either coming back or get lost by going in another direction. So, after she was sure she could see them in each direction if they were to return, she sat down to get her breath back and kept a look out.

Was there really any reason to rush?

Questioning herself, she wondered why, so quickly after reincarnation, she was running like her life was on the line...After a while, she had concluded that she didn't seem to mind running like this, that she felt alive and wanted to make the best of her time. So much time had already been wasted! What was the point of wasting more by walking or standing still! If she happens to find this place and finds more information about anything that could help her, then she thought she was doing the right thing!

No, she wasn't in a rush. She was just happily following a plan that seemed to be going very quickly...Right? She let out a laugh, what does it matter! I'm going to do whatever I want from now on! This whole planet...Is mine...And first things first, finding this place to gain information. That was it, that was her plan and Anonym stopped thinking about it after that.

The sun was setting an hour later, and Anonym hadn't moved. She was not worried at all about the darkness, as it was also another way to cultivate Dexterity and Senses. But, the men hadn't returned...Was this place that far away? Even if they come back now, would it still be possible to find the former body's home? Here she was saying that she hadn't wasted any time…But doing this...Was she really not wasting any time?

Anonym was sure that the art of Invisibility was quite rare and that, at this moment, it was important that she try to find the family home because that would be the best way to obtain any information about it...But another half an hour went by and she started to think that she might have to wonder for a few days before she could find this place, which may mean she might not find it because items might be stolen by then!

It was very common after all, that little thieves wonder around and check houses. The place she was in now only seemed more of a place thieves would hide in.

Hadn't she learnt some kind of tracking in her past life’s?

Sighing, Anonym tried to think about the past to see what she could do in the form of tracking instead of sitting around. One of her past lives had indeed learnt the art of Tracking through the talent Traveller, but it seemed to coexist with personal cultivation, such as Senses. Your eyes needed to sharp, just like your hearing. So, there wasn't anything she could do with her personal cultivation being so low...

Closing her eyes, Anonym decided to cultivate Senses, while waiting to hear footprints. If she were to cultivate her senses, she could be able to hear better and, hopefully, be able to tell a bit more on which direction they were coming from. But in such a fleeting time frame, how could anyone cultivate to such a degree?

She really was just too excited because of her new-found freedom! She wanted to do everything right now! She must have stored up any kind of excitement for this moment...This time...This life.

It was finally happening! Anonym tried to calm herself down and relax, so she could, again, attempted to cultivate Senses.

But it wasn't long before she finally started to cultivate seriously, that she started to hear running footprints...

Anonym sighed and looked towards them. Seeing them with blood on their clothes, Anonym shook her head. The Hydra Clan aren't entirely that smart, shouldn't they have taken a hostage?

As the men came running towards her, she did indeed see a hostage. It seemed to be an elderly guy, that would make sense if it was to be the former body's father. Maybe they weren't stupid after all...

Sighing, Anonym by passed them and went towards were they had come from instead. Surely, the father should be safe for a time, I will see him to get information next.

It was now time to go running towards what the former body called home...

Stopping a few times, to catch her breath, Anonym could see herself falling into frustration! She had decided to travel an hour in the direction the men had came from and circle that area, then go further in that same direction to do the same. Becoming tired after the first trip, she had slept in a hollow tree that made her cold and dirty.

When she had woken up, the sun had come up for at least an hour and she continued her journey not even thinking on how lucky she was to have survived the night in an untamed land. She hadn't thought it luck, she was small and fit into a place no big things could fit in, so what was there to be afraid of? Not only that…She was currently stuck as being invisible! Being unseen was not something she wanted to get used to! Normally, she was the life of the party! The loudest, funniest person in the clan! People liked her nature, they wanted to be close to her….

But still, during the night, a few insects had bitten her, making her grunt in displeasure. Her blood was special! How could she let them get away with taking her special blood!?

Vexed, she planned to kill many insects in retribution when she became stronger!

Circling an area twice now, she continued to go further away from the Hydra Clan and into the tree area that had more moss and vines in random areas. Did someone really live out here? What a stupid place to make a home!

She hadn't come across any kind of normal vegetation that could grow food, and fruit seemed to be scattered and limited. The best thing to live on here would be that of the animals that scavenged for bugs...

This was probably the reason she hadn't come across any homes yet, to live out here is obviously to hide away, so you weren't found…And for silly people!

Now that she thought about it, many arts had gone into hiding and invisibility had already been so rare, so it seemed quite normal, now, for her to take a long time to find this blasted home!

As she stumbled, she grumbled. It was displeasing to her eyes as she had to slow down in intervals, to continue over slippery and dense areas. Remembering some of her previous times in extravagant places, she could not help but want to get away from this place as soon as possible! She missed the comfort of a bed and that of someone to serve her. Food cooked, clean water, fresh clothes and fresh air! Looking around now, she felt out of place with discomfort and she trudged on with a face that looked utterly disgusted...

Anonym remembered her previous lives and tried to think of where exactly she was, but the Hydra Clan didn't really give her any kind of familiarity. Also, being in this forest, also didn't seem to be a knowledgeable existence at all...Considering she had retired for about fifteen years in her previous life, the continents might have changed since she'd last seen them. It made her more frustrated that she, being someone that continued to relive her life, didn't know where she was!

But one point did make her think, as it seemed quite a humid place, she wondered if this was Murkcloud Continent.

The continents had broken up into the type of climates they were in, but sometimes wars had taken place...So the continents borders might have changed on all sides. It was still quite easy to recognize the differences though, as Murkcloud continent was humid and consisted of a lot more water than that of the other three continents. Waterfalls, steam pools, marshlands and spring waters mostly existed on Murkcloud Continent. This type of humid climate made specific arts here, better as well. For instance, the talent of Chemistry has arts under it that the vast amounts of water on this continent would help improve on them, like that of Farming, Irrigation and Cosmetics. Obviously, the products from the farms and people who make cosmetics here, would be slightly better than that of anywhere else. It did indeed help equalize each talent and continent as the other three continents helped other arts. And because of that, trading will continue, as it had done so for many, many years.

As Anonym continued to trudge along, she tried to remember what she could do on Murkcloud continent. Water was also a useful source for improving particular personal cultivation, and not only that, there were obviously arts that would only be on this continent. And that was enough reason for her to stay for the time being.

Oh, how she couldn't wait to learn everything and teach that old man a lesson!

Chapter 2 ** Collection **

It was another day before she found a small looking house in the distance. It was in shambles and looked like it was trying to be hidden, even though it was still far away from everything else. The mess of broken items and thrown food only made Anonym sure that it had been the men that she had followed a few days ago that did it.

They had ransacked the place very well. The small garden was only scattered dirt now, leaving nothing left anywhere near it. Woven baskets were destroyed, clothes were ripped and the house roof had holes in it. Bricks had fallen from the already old and poorly made well and the hidden fence was now in sight, on the floor.

Shaking her head, she continued inside of the house and wasn't surprised to see more of a mess. The house was really small but it was all broken, pulled down or put into something unusable. Walking around the corner, she found the last room had two bodies on the floor. Blood had surrounded them on dirty ground and the lady, who Anonym thought as the former's mother, had her eyes still opened, staring lifelessly towards a certain area, without blinking.

Checking the unmoving bodies, Anonym found that they had died some time ago and most likely killed by those men. They probably would have killed them in front of the old man to try and get him to talk. Shaking her head, to try and clear her conscience, she closed the mother's eyes and looked at the teenage boy next to her...The former must have had a brother. How pitiful, to die like that. Did they even try to run? ...What does it matter...They were died, she of all people knew that you can't just go back in time...

She didn't find herself sad at all towards their deaths, even though this body was connected to them through blood. Many times in her previous life's, she had families. But, upon her death it hadn't mattered...The fact that she had remembered her past moments before her death, she had always thought that it was a waste. Even if she had a great life with quite a few friends and a happy family, it was a waste. Why? Well that was probably because she would forget and just be doing it all over again, and again! What gain was it to continue to live that same continuous life! She'd been a man with wife's, a woman who had a husband and once would be enough. But, it had happened many times!

Losing family had happened as well, and it had hurt terribly, but as memories flooded into her before death, it had become unnecessary because she had already forgotten those from her previous life's who had died.

So, she would just forget them again, everyone, because when she got reincarnated, her memories disappeared! Having to go through the loss of a family member, without her memories would be like a first time feeling, but it was different now...How many mother's, father's and siblings had she lost in the past? Too many! If she had to see them on their funeral date each year, she would be too busy! They are dead, but she was alive!

She decided that family was something easily done without.

This mother and son pair, they were just another family that got caught up in a bad place. Granted, it was because she broke free from the mind controller, but she felt no guilt. If she felt guilt all the time, it would make her a wreck and she wasn't going to have that. These people...Are unlucky.

Leaving them there, she walked through the house, ransacking it herself. There had to be something about the art of invisibility here somewhere!

It wasn't until the third and last room that she finally found something. It looked like it hadn't been touched at all, sitting there quite nicely in the corner, next to a pot already broken by its side. It seemed quite strange that it was sitting there so openly like this and never touched. Walking over towards it, Anonym was questioning the men and their antics.

Picking it up, she found that it was indeed a secret book on the art of Invisibility! Why would they not take this? Were they stupid!

Or was there really some type of...Ah, right, it was probably invisible as well...That would explain it!

She looked up to find the bodies of the assumedly mother and son before her.

Feeling lucky, she nodded and thought that she'll bury them. Since she found useful information and that digging with help her cultivate Strength, it was only a good thing. So, she spent the next couple of hours resting and digging.

When they were both buried, Anonym had no words to say so she didn't stand before their graves.

Being dirty and sweaty everywhere, she grunted and decided to wipe herself down, before she was to leave. The next thing she wanted to do, was see the father and see if he had any other information, that is, if she was quick enough to get back...

Leaving the shambled house behind her, she left, holding the precious book in her hands. Deciding to hide the book before she went to see the former's father, she didn't make it back to Hydra Clan for another two days. But, she could run for a slightly longer time and a little faster, which helped her get out of the mossy forest, that she disliked so much, more quickly!

Upon arriving at the Hydra Clan the same way she had left, she saw that the door that led into the inner Hydra Clan had been locked once again, so now her path had become blocked!

Unsure on how to proceed, to find the assumed father, she started to turn around to find another way to enter the inner secret, underground place where she had been taken hostage many years ago.

Unable to follow the guards, as they just stood there, she still wanted to use her last trick of following somebody else. Where was everybody?

Strolling around the outer area, she found only guards guarding doors! What kind of luck was this! Surely there had to be another way...

Coming out into the open again, where many of the towns people were out doing their normalities, she was just about ready to give up. Was she going to get much out of the old man anyway? Would it be worth it?

Sighing to her wasted time, she looked around and saw some rich bastards talking, not far away at a tavern. They seemed relaxed and happy and that made Anonym unhappy!

Yes, it was time to have a small break and possibly a drink of alcohol! These rich bastards can just pay for it all!

Being small, she had to reach up to grab one of the drinks on the table and drank the contents without a care.

There was one thing that she really liked, and that was drinking alcohol! Upon discovering her past life's, there was one in which she had more fun, because she did what she wanted more because of being intoxicated! When she had drank in that life, it was excessive and cost the family, but it had also shown Anonym that it was like a freedom elixir!

Letting out a small burp after emptying the cup, she dropped the cup on the floor and reached for the other old bastard’s drink!

Happy, she sat down under the table and watched the people around her as she drank. She was really relaxed, but the tiny body she was in couldn't take much more than two cups of freedom elixir...

Feeling the dizziness flow through her, Anonym smiled. She wondered what kind of mischief she could get into!

Looking up to the rich bastards, she grinned, it was going to start with them!

Hearing that one of the rich bastards was secretly out gallivanting, when he wasn't supposed to be, Anonym made sure to tip freedom elixir on him to make it obvious that he had indeed gone out!

It really was a huge joke to Anonym as her chuckles were heard. People looked towards thin air, from where noises had been heard, only to see nothing...

The other rich bastard seemed to be eyeing a lady that worked in the tavern and was commenting about her looks. Turning to see the lovely lady, Anonym staggered a bit while walking over to her and yanked her over towards the old bastard.

The lady fell right into his lap, startling everyone as it was more than a trip, she had travelled at least three metres to get to where she was now! The old bastard quickly got over it, wanting to make the best of the situation and pulled her tightly into his embrace.

Anonym chuckled, thinking that men were simple. Actually, if she had a choice, she would prefer to be a man! Men were easier to be, as women tended to care about more. Upon thinking about how woman seemed to care a lot about wanting to get married to a good husband, made Anonym roll her eyes. If she wanted a husband...If...She would just take him! But, for now, it was something not on her list of things to do! Gender was something she couldn't change, but she wasn't going to change who she was! She's willing to help some old bastard bed a woman! In her eyes, it was easy! Hell, if she was a man and older, she would want that lady too!

Sighing, Anonym didn't seem to have attraction to the opposite sex as of yet, she guessed it might have something to do with her body that hasn't matured yet...Knowing about the future of entangling her body with another, it was at least one thing to look forward too! Anonym had no problem with mating with another at all, it was just caring about the lives afterwards...If she were to get a husband, normally it's known the woman looks after him. Sniggering, she could see herself doing as she pleases and having the husband probably kick her out! She wasn't going to waste this life for a man! No way!

Just as Anonym continued to watch the old bastard continue to flirt with the lady, someone from behind made her trip over and fall.

Turning angrily, she rammed towards that person. How dare they! Just because I'm invisible, doesn't mean you can trip me!

As her push went into him, he lost balance and fell towards another person. Rubbing her hands from the hard push, Anonym watched the show in excitement. Thinking back to past life's where she had made trouble...Being invisible might be more fun!

Before leaving, she had swapped people's drinks and meals, she had stolen some shoes, to put elsewhere, which ended with someone else being called a thief. Tripped people onto other people, especially ladies onto men and let some horses free just outside.

The tavern was in a little bit of chaos as the workers there tried to help the unfortunate people who had been Anonym's victims...

Stealing a bed at a close by inn, Anonym slept like a baby until morning, with no one the wiser. If they had thought about it, maybe a few there would remember that they are looking for someone that was invisible, but that kind of thought never entered their heads...

While little terror Anonym was sleeping, there was someone smart enough to say what had happened in the tavern to someone else of higher authority. They hadn't said anything about invisibility but the elder took a moment and figured it out. The little girl Marissa is taking her revenge out in a tavern?

Making the person, who had come to inform him, to repeat himself again, the elder became a little confused. The tricks that the little girl used were just...Immature...No one had gotten killed...It was like she was just having fun!

How maddening! Was she playing with the Hydra Clan!

Banging his fist on the table, he tried to vent his rage to the immature actions of a little girl!

How were they going to catch her? Of course, the only way to catch her would be through her father!

Getting up in a hurry, he wanted to inform the other elders of the clan, so that they could form a plan to recapture the little runt Marissa!

Funnily enough, this little runt had practically given up on searching for the assumed father figure. Instead, she was going through Auction houses and shops for things that she could learn or use.

She had a plan! She was going to get everything she would need for a closed-door cultivation. She looked for books on the talents she had and could learn more in, looked for stones that was needed and items.

Two days since the spectacle from the tavern, Anonym had gathered about four hundred magical stones, that she had stolen from random places and people. These stones aren't cheap! Rich people who had triumphantly showed them off previously, now stood in very low spirits and wanted vengeance!

Two shops had been victims to missing items, that would help with personal cultivation, and now they were being more closely guarded. Having things stolen out of the blue like that totally frightened the shop owners! They were worried that if one could get away with it, then others would come to try it too, what a bad loss!

Then an auction house had lost quite a priceless object that Anonym decided to make hers.

She had been ruthless! Walked right in, taken what she wanted, and walked right back out!

Strangely, the objects that she takes could still be seen but as they seem to float in mid air, no one had seemed to see it, except for one! That person thought there was a ghost in the town and started to shriek, making people think that he was crazy. When he finally said that the item had been taken away, they finally realized that there had been a thief!

But Anonym was long gone! The stash she had hidden away, was slowly growing!

It wasn't enough though, Anonym planned to be in secluded cultivation for about two years, so she needed more!

A few days later, as she was wondering if she should go to another clan because of the extra security surrounding the markets, shops, auction houses and rich people, a huge notice was placed on the noticeboard.

An abrupt, loud laughter came out of nowhere and people looked at a place holding only air, with great interest.

One person went to reach out, trying to grab something with their hands, but they nearly tripped.

Another laugh followed as he ended up tripping anyway because someone had kicked him from behind and fell in a heap on the floor!

It became a mess of a shuffle, people were using their ears and eyes to try and figure out where this invisible person was.

Anonym was little and wanted to play! She knew she still wasn't very strong, but she had to at least knock a couple of people over, before running away!

The notice did indeed have a notice for capturing this little runt! People knew of something strange going on lately, and now they finally knew what was going on…And now, they wanted to get revenge!

Many people had lost stones to this little runt! Even the information of her being invisible didn't quench their rage!

The notice had also stated that Marissa's father had been captured and that she was to go to a place, to be replaced with him or he will be killed.

The laugh Anonym did, was because she thought that they were helping her by finding the father! She thought they made it much easier, since she had already given up. Now she can see what they plan to do and if she really had a chance to talk to Marissa's father.

Changing her plans, or more so taking a slight detour, she decided to check out what's going on around the area that she was supposed to go.

Obviously, there were guards everywhere and they were going to ambush her. She felt a little upset with the easy strategy that they are choosing to use. They will indeed, underestimate this invisible girl!

Ah...There was a trap! A strange type of cage was hidden. Anonym liked the look of it, never had seen it before, but she didn't venture out further to inspect it. The art of Trapping was something she already knew of, but this cage seems to be of a new, higher grade trap and would be very useful! Seeing that someone here had mastered the art of Trapping and there was something she hadn’t learnt yet, she got excited!

But she didn't just stroll in because of her curiosity, she wasn't stupid! In a few of her past life's, she was in wars and fought, although she never was the strategist, she was still someone that knew that she should check her surroundings first and plan something!

Putting her small hand to her chin, she watched some people and stood there, far from the place they wanted her to be. The thoughts flowing through her head weren't much. She really did want to just go in there and beat them all up, but she knew she couldn't! Yet, forming a plan wasn't really something she was great at...And, she wasn't strong at the moment, Anonym sighed to her lack of strength.

Deciding to leave, before she made a fool of herself, she turned and saw more guards elsewhere that didn't seem like a shop or anything else for guarding.

Walking across the dirt road and past a stone building that seemed to be a courthouse, she looked around the corner to see people gathering and whispering.

Surely not...This isn't where they are keeping the people who were going to 'catch' her?

Squeezing in around the corner, she looked at all the men, that seemed to be lining up. They had swords and some light armour, and horses were being fixed with food and water rations.

Unable to hear what was going on, because she was at the back of all the soldiers, she thought that this lot of people had nothing to do with looking for her at all...

And it was true, not long after the person at the front stopped talking and spoke for them to leave, they all got on their horses and left in different directions.

Uh?

Anonym tried to put what she had just seen in perspective to her own problem and decided that what they just did must be important.

What she saw this as, was great news! Less soldiers around the better! What luck!

It was a perfect time to continue to gather belongings!

Wanting to take the best of her time, she didn't even stop to think about leaving the former body's father there...

***

As the days went on and they still hadn't been able to find her, but other things were done by her, the elders of the Hydra Clan were really upset!

How could they have known that she didn't care about her father?

Her uses being invisible were something they still wanted and needed but how were they going to get it back now?

The way they had obtained Marissa was when she was still very tiny. Even though she was only ten now, she had totally ruined their plans!

What other plan to capture an invisible person is there, besides having someone close to them held as a hostage?

As the elders tried to think of another way to trap and mind control Marissa again, they wouldn't think that she would be right there with them drinking their very own freedom elixir.

It was absolutely good luck for Anonym! If she hadn't liked alcohol that much, she wouldn't have come here at all! As she drinks under the table, she wanted to know what they were going to do as well. It would be difficult! If she were trying to get someone invisible...Can't be done without a hostage!

Actually, Anonym just didn't want to think further than that and agreed with them. It seemed like a situation that she couldn't think up a strategy for, but that was normal. In most of her past life's she rarely thought things through which got her into trouble a lot. Luckily, in a good few of those life's she had been strong and she was able to get out of her trouble by being stronger then her opponents...

Besides, she was drinking freedom elixir right now, it wasn't a time to think so seriously!

They took a few minutes to decide to beat the father up more, to get another idea out of him instead. Anonym stumbled along and followed them happily, not forgetting to grab another cup of freedom elixir before they left!
