Zi thumps down on her bed. What a busy day! The small coffee shop, which has gained lots of social media popularity lately, has been running smoothly. Zi unties her long silky brown hair, which had a thick white stripe that ran through it. She always has to tie up her hair in messy buns nowadays because it has gotten very long these days. Zi saunters her way into her small bathroom. She then carefully takes out her contacts. It’s definitely not very common for a normal 18 year old human girl to have piercing red eyes, so she always attempts to cover them up with brown colored contacts. She lived alone in a small studio apartment, her parents had passed away a while ago. Though she would have wanted to move away from them anyways. They had always put pressure on her for... well I guess you could say it was about what she would do for the rest of her life. And then Zi went on to create a coffee shop, that hosted the young to old, and brought smiles onto their faces. Though through all of this, she never really had any friends. A lonely girl, in a lonely world. Well I guess you could actually say she’s not so lonely, if you count the ghosts in her closet. You see, this world isn’t the only one, and since the gates of the underworld have opened up, things have gotten even more chaotic for Zi. In reality, Zi has not lived here her whole life. Of course it’s totally normal to move to different places, but it’s not such a casual thing to just pick up your things, and start a life in a new world. Zi’s parents were demons. But the thing that made everything so different for Zi, is that they were royals. The mother was the queen, in charge of managing the souls in the underworld. The father was an all mighty king who wrecked havoc everywhere he went. So of course when the two passed away, it was time for Zi to inherit the throne. She was crowned King if the underworld (Yes even though Zi is a female, she was crowned king, since the underworld thinks separating genders is useless). Now Zi has an entire world to rule, though does she want to? She has been doing it for quite a few years now. She’s kind of gotten the hang of it, though she usually pushes most of the work onto her trusty helper, Len. Len has always been there for Zi, though she never really acknowledges it that much. I guess you could say Len is a friend. They don’t talk too much anymore since Zi came into the human world to learn more. In such a world full of mysteries where shall she go? Humans are intriguing creatures. They only have one shape, and all try to act one way. The only thing that demons have in common in the underworld is the respect they have for the crown, and that’s about it. The human world seems so peaceful to Zi, but will it really accept someone like her?

“Beep! Beep!”

As Zi arose from her bed, she slammed her alarm clock to shut off. Though she actually broke it clean in half. These were some inconveniences coming with being a demon. There are just these small things that happen. For example, when a demon is even a little mad, they get an extra reflex. It makes their accuracy more precise, and their strength boost. Anyways, Zi slowly

started to walk into the kitchen, which is barely a kitchen even at this point because it’s so small. She was a person who would want to eat before anything else. She’s hungry all of the time. When she wanted to start a business, a food place is the first thing that came to mind. She started to begin making her breakfast. “Shoot! I’m gonna have to stop by the grocery store!” Her fridge was almost bare, with only a few items left. She was able to make a small breakfast sandwich, and she scarfed it down. She then sauntered back into her small room to choose an outfit. She usually wore a basic graphic tee with some black cargo pants. She usually liked to dress in all black, probably because she was raised to do so. She then bulted down the stairs of her apartment building and ran across the street. One good thing about being able to run your own business, is being able to choose where it is placed. She was able to get it on a street just across of her apartment building. She always brags to herself about that. She turned left and there it was, with the logo that’s called, “Lucifer’s Coffee”. She took the shiny golden key from her pocket and unlocked the glass door. The inside was very well decorated with soft maroon colored chairs, and wooden tables. It was now a cute trendy cafe that humans have been so interested in. There was one human that always stood out to her. He always came in first thing in the morning. He had short pure black hair, with black eyes. She had soon learned, (through customers gossip),that he also ran his own business. Though, his was way more successful. He ran a company which created popular video games. Thier latest RPG game release was a total hit, with millions upon millions of players. Many people said that when they played it, they could forget about everything in their past and submerge themselves into the game. Though the games made people so happy, it was said that the boy that ran the company had such a cold piercing gaze that people would freeze. That’s probably why he always came in the morning. Though when she would take his order, his eyes seemed soft on me, and always smiled, though he seemed troubled. Zi had just locked up the shop and was ready to head out. She then remembered that she needed to go get groceries. She headed down to her local grocer, and did a little shopping. Since the shop’s popularity blew up, she now has a little spare change. As she was about to go check out she saw a paper ad. It was for the game people were talking about. Since people said it could get thier mind off things, why not try it out?

Zeke, a CEO of Washii Games Center, is known to be a cold blooded man. At such a young age, he inherited the CEO position from his father. Nobody ever dared to glance at him, let alone oppose him.Though, one fine day, he happened upon a newly opened coffee shop. What a stupid little shop! Who would ever want to come to a small side road coffe shop? But then he saw a whole hoard of people, from young to old, that started to go into the coffee shop. It this the new popular shop? Zeke then decided to give it a try. He walked into the small shop, with the sweetest smell drifting across the room. It was warm, with a very cozy feel. He then decided to go grab a coffee. Since he was here, wouldn't it be rude not to? When he went to go order, a sweet pair of eyes met his. He felt at ease when seeing this girl. At that moment he almost involuntarily smiled. After that, he took a seat and started to question himself.

"Why did i smile at some nobody?"

The girl then brought him his drink and he was a little skeptical. Zeke was always questioning things, and food was no exception He decided to take a sip, and just like that, all of his worries were washed away. He instantly stood up an bullted to the counter. The girl stood behind the counter, surprised.

"Sir, is there anything wrong with the drink?"

He then explained how it was wonderful and asked if she made it. She then responded positively. Zeke then asked,

"Sorry for being very openly forward, but may I have your name?"

The girl then responded with,

"Its Zi."

The girl then smiled brightly, probaby having no ideo whom he was. Zeke then started to appear everyday and they both had conversations here and there. Zeke started to become very intrigued by this girl. He then decided to go back to his workplace. He made the building go silent. He went to one of the worker's tables and slammed his hand on the desk. This one worker was known to be able to collect information quickly.

"Y-Yes boss..?"

Zeke then spoke in a stern voice, telling him to research abot this girl named Zi. He said that the information must be presented a week later. After Zeke got the point through the worker's head, he went to his office. He had a lot of work to finish, but he never really minded, except this time, he was very destracted. For once, he was interested in the results that a worker was going to give him. But she will probably just be a normal barista.

"Why am I so interested in her anyways?"

A week passesses and Zeke gets a knock on his office door. He had just gotten to work, and was very tired since he worked late last night. Even though he was very young he worked like a normal person.

"Come in."

The worker who was asked by Zeke to get information a week later had come to Zeke. Zeke was very pleased to see him.

"Now, why don't you tell me what you found."
