In the large apartment sized room of Brandon's study Alexis stood before the extravagant oak table, continously fidgeting with the ring in her hand.
She had never been this nervous in all her life until standing between two intimidating men.
Brandon sat on behind his table while Nickol, his right hand stood behind her, arms crossed.

He said so but his works dripped with sarcasm although the naive Lexi remain oblivious to it but made Nickol smile for some reason.
Something about the way she spoke about her Fiancé bothered him.

Then we are good to go now Miss.Harrison. As Nickol suggested you will be perfect for this job and I approve of his judgment.

You will be under evaluation for 30 days. You can start tomorrow and report to Nickol.

She smiled so purely at him that made her eyes to shine. An unusual expression in front of the mafia leader whose presence usually made people to tremble in awe or fear.

Brandon watched as the pretty little Blonde walked out of the room.
His eyes never leaving her perfectly swinging *** as she walked out.
He thinks about her beautiful, naive look 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑎 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑 he thinks. She must be too innocent or too much of a fool to believe in true love. She might as well believe in Santa, and vampires.
But then when was the last time he had notices a girl so keenly other then when they were on his bed.
Minutes later Nickol walked back in after seeing her out and closed the door behind him.

So what do you think?
Brandon considers his question for a minute.
Nickol had been like a guardian to Brandon since forever. For him to recommend someone was surely a big deal.

Is there a particular reason why you insisted on hiring this chick?
*arms crossed on the table*
Nickol
*Smiles*
Oh didn't you see that she was different from the others.
Brandon Stamford

He surely knew how but then he needed to hear it from someone as a reminder... the twisted side of him may be.
Nickol
She needed the money, I know it. Besides she was the only one of the 5 candidates who didn't think you were in love with them.
It was the truth, Brandon knew it ...and as much as he liked to avoid indulging with his staff, the women working for him were often willing... and so, he was no Saint to deny their advances.
But this girl was different from the others and for reason he didn't like a lot.

Nick gave him an amused look because Brandon, his master rarely lost his composure like that.
It was totally a new change, a good change.
