I heaved a sign of relief crash on my bed , I started thinking of how horrible my day was. I was always bullied neglected and all sorts of things.

My name is Nate am a 16 years old human , welcome to my world. Humans always claim to be the strongest in the world they fought with beasts that inhabited all planets.

They were created when A dangerous gas came from the air and after all animals and insects started inhaling it it started changing them into different things.

They were Primitive creatures F rank creatures, Tinted creatures E rank creatures, Amateur creatures D rank creatures, Mutant creatures C rank creatures, King tier creatures B rank creatures, Lord tier creatures A rank creatures and From Demon tier creatures to other mystical creatures Are AA rank.

I was born human my parents where killed in the war After my birth, so I became an orphan and I was hated by many I had no other relatives.

I was enrolled in a government military school it was free for all, both Ability user, fighters ... You must be atleast 14 to enter the military academy, it's a 4 years school section.

I was born with no potential at all , always bullied in school I managed to enter in The military academy for two years, Because my parents where working for the military before they died . Today I was thrown in the trash by the one of the richest and toughest guy in my school named Ray.

Ray was the son of one of the generals in my school. In this world if you don't have any potential like been a fighter or an ability user you can never be anyone.

I went to the bathroom my room was one of the worst in The military academy, after bathing I went to read the only book my parents left for me.

It was definitely a huge treasure to me it only unlocks till the 10th page, and anytime I try unlocking it, I always hear the book say certain criteria not met it always get me down.

Later that night I finished eating and wanted to go to sleep, I heard a knock on my door rushed to open it and I was greeted by two thieves I was so shocked and afraid.

I thought to myself what they wanted to steal cause I didn't have any valuable belongings. The bulky one rushed to me and used his mage powers to make a blade and wanted to use it on me he stabbed me just below my stomach.

I fell on the floor the other thief said let's go he doesn't have any valuable belongings, they both rushed out I managed to use one of my old clothes to cover my wound after applying some first aid personally assigned to all students in case it is needed.

I was crying in pain , I also felt dizzy and fell on the bed. I that when I heard a voice in my head.

Nate was stunned, what the heck where did this voice come from. He hurried took the 10 picas he had rushed to the medical bay paid entrance fee, and sneaked to the blood bank and took one of the bags of blood and drank it.

When he taste it, it was so horrible but because he didn't want to die he drank all using his left hand to close his nose. He was about to puke his guts out, but stopped when he heard the voice in his head again.

Nate really did not know what was going on but he jumped up, he was happy he wasn't going to die and that his going to get an ability.

He quickly rushed to the book on the table to check the 10th page, he was surprised it was unlocked he tried to read but no words where in them he heard the system saying

Dark matter mist: It is an ability long lost since the 15th century, it makes a dark mist come in to play. It has the following characteristics:

Mist swallow: when using mist swallow, it sucks up all the opponents ability leaving him/her with no ability. If grown well it can also swallow other things hosts wants.Host is yet to unlock mist swallow

Mist transport: mist transport can transport host to any location of choice. host is yet to unlock mist transport.

Mist block: blocks attacks from opponents. Hosts has only 10% mist block. it can upgrade with practice

Mist void: when using mist void it can store up almost anything hosts wants, expert humans.

Mist equip: Helps hosts to put on armour

Mist fight: Helps host in fights boost his strength and stats and it can make a copy of host to her him fight.

Mist build: Locked : Host can build only few objects, increases as host evolve]

..... Host only has Mist void,Mist equip, mist block and mist fight unlocked. More will be unlocked if any of the unlocked mist upgrades to level 2]

Nate was happy he asked the system to show him his vampire powers,

Nate was confused and didn't understand any of the things the system just said. He started practice that night using his vampire powers, he first did the blood swipe only little amount of blood cam out from his hands .

He did the vampire jump, he lifted 10ft into the air,and the ceiling got spoilt. He was so happy now nobody will intimidate him , but he was also sad cause he will have to hide his Dark matter mist ability and only show of some of his vampire powers so he won't raise suspicion and be used as guinea pig to find out how he got the lost ability and the vampire powers.

The next morning he rushed to the public library to look for anything relating to vampire, he wanted to know all about them.

He took all the vampire books he could find and stated reading, all of it where not interesting to his as it was only saying the things which everyone knows as vampires been a bloodsucker.

The library attendant has the ability of silence,so anytime someone can inside once he sits on any sit he/she presses a button on the table to keep the outside world from hearing what the person is saying.

As Nate was reading, Someone sat on the chair next to him on the same table. When he looked up he saw a very beautiful girl with blonde hair, pink lips smiling at him .

Nate was confused as no girl has ever smiled at him before, Maybe it's because I became a vampire thought Nate . He decided to say hello, the girl replied 'Hy do you love reading vampire books too , oh I love them so much.

Nate was stunned 'Really where you from and what's your name?

My name is Cara am from one of the Big four, Lilly's I school here but I haven't seen you here before are you new ?

'I've been here for 2yrs now but I don't mingle with people that's why you haven't seen me.

After exchanging pleasantries, Nate stood up to leave, ' Can we be friends said cara' .

After Nate left the library he went for Public section ,he wanted to do some hunting to practice more of his ability. As usual Ray and his gang came to bully him ,he ignored them cause he was happy and had better things to do .

Nate held his sword as it was only weapon was good at, he rush up to the board to check for any available F rank quests.

He was an F rank , There are 7Ranks

AA rank : withstand Fights with beasts ranging from AA to F.

A rank: withstand Fights with some types of beats ranging from A rank to F

B rank : Can withstand beasts ranging from B to F rank.

C rank : Can withstand beasts ranging from C to F rank.

D rank : Can withstand beasts ranging from D to F

F rank: Can only withstand fF rank beasts , also vonurable to death

Nate was F rank so , F rank members must travel in at least 6 in each groups for hunting. They where regarding as the weaklings.

The people in his group where, Luke, Mace, CIA ,Cara , and Vic. They set out to the forest near by for hunting.

Nate was surprised to see Cara in his group, he ask her what rank she was she said rand D. I was stunned, what's rank D doing with rank F why are you not with your fellow rank members.

Cara smiled and said she just wanted to join his group as her group was boring. They all set out to the forest, after going for a few meters they can across a dozen of primitive creatures that looked like halfant-halftermite.

They hid behind a rock and started planning. ' I will stay behind this Earth using my earth ability and arrow skills' s Cia said. She is 15years old ,a 4ft tall girl,Red hair, with a little muscular features.

'Vic was a boastful guy with brown hair ,5ft tall, brown eyes he has been in the military academy for 3years so his practically 17. 'I will fight at the front using my Wind ability and Knife skills.

While Luke said ' I will follow Vic since we are both mature and more experienced ones, Using my Fire ability we can roast them up'. He was muscular in nature, black hair,also 17.

Cara rolled her eyes and said ' Why don't we all fight side by side and Cia protecting us with her bow and arrow.She can also use her Earth ability to help in case of any of the beast jumping at us'. No one knows what Cara ability was and where afraid to ask cause she could beat them to pulp, she was 2 Rank above them.

Mace said he agreed with her idea as they an all be done in few seconds. He also said Nate should stay behind as he doesn't have any ability to avoid death. Mace is a tall slim guy with Blonde hair and little longer nose. He is 16 years old.

'I will like to join in the fight, as it won't be fair if you guys did all the work and I just ripped off it.

They all nodded and whereup for the plan. Luke made appear fire on, it wasn't very big because he was still a Level 2 ability user.

Mace also made a circle of water appear on the air just a little bowl size. he was a Level 2 ability user. CIA readied her bow and made a little wall of rock appear jus beside the team.

Vic made wind blade appear ,he was a Level 2 ability user. Cara made spikes of Ice appear, which left everyone stunned

Nate stood behind them he didn't want to show his Dark matter mist ability as to not raise suspensions.

'Everyone ready?' asked Luke .They all shouted ready!. Vic Threw 2 wind blade at the nearest Beast and it died instantly, Luke also threw fire and it killed 3 beasts.

CIA flung her bow and make earth to push it forward with force and it killed 1 of the beast. Cara then threw her spikes and it killed 3 of the beasts. Mace used his water ability to drown 2 of the beasts,after which they died.

Nate using his sword, he first checked his stats.

After hearing what the system said he ran forward used his long blade and slash the beast into 2. He then heard the system saying things in his head..

[System congratulates host for killing his first beast after evolving to become halfling and gaining an ability, 1000 coins gained. System store is now opened would host like to see what's in the store?]

Yes!. Replied Nate hurriedly.

[* Black dragon armour: When black dragon armour is equipped, host can gain a boast of 5% on his Stats . Cost 500 coins.

*Phoniex wings: Gives host wings to fly. It still at level 1 so host can only fly 4ft in the air. Cost 2000 coins.

*Hammer ground: If equipped host can hit any thing that is below E rank, reasons because host is still a Level one ability user and an F rank. Level up to upgrade. Cost 1000 coins..]

Nate was happy although he was also sad because he wanted to feel what it means to fly with the Phoniex wings which cost 2000 coins and he had only 1000, he purchased the black dragon armour and told the system to put it in his Mist void.

After killing all 12 beasts the team opened the beasts and started searching for beast crystals, after gathering they went on and also killed 2 dozens more primitive creatures and retired to the Academy.

They split the crystals among them selves with each taking 6 Crystal's. Nate went inside his room to practice his ability and vampire powers.

Later that night he snucked out , he wanted to practice more with beasts. He went into the most dangerous Forests (The dark swap), He used his mist powers to summon his Black dragon armour it fitted him perfectly, like it was specifically made for him.

He used his mist blend, to blend in the shadows because he didn't want to be noticed .

' Ouch What's this?...
