There's more than 7.9 Billion people in the world but when you're determined not to meet someone in this life, you'd end up meeting that person somehow, everyday, until one day, you look forward to meeting them.

The thunder roared in the sky bringing along with it a heavy downpour. The city market was full of hustle and bustle though the sun has already set and the sky was dark. The aura of that place gave an ominous premonition : Something big is going to happen today.

But not everyone is aware of the dark side of the world, some people belong to the sunshine. They shine brightly against the darker side, pulling people out of madness and letting them face the brighter side of the world.

"Boss! there's too much crowd today! Are we going to continue with the operation?", A young man of approximately 25 year old wearing a black mask asked in a whisper.

The "boss" coldly looked around the area, "Do you think we can have a better situation to carry out this Operation then right now ---- move aside, don't let me get soaked in rain" The boss was also a young man who's at his 25, wearing an all black suit and a black mask accompanied by a black hat with black sunglasses instantly moved within the crowd and was lost in the middle of the bustling city.

The "assistant" sighed and followed the traces of his "boss" and mixed in with the crowd.

"Hey old guy, are you really going to buy this?", A young man in his 23 was fiddling with the trinket and asking another guy of approximately 22 year old.

"Doc!! who's old! I'm younger than you, okay?", the younger guy was flustered.

The doctor wrapped his arms around the other guy and laughed out loud, "Chen Tang, you're younger by age but who in this wide world would believe you're younger than me, the handsome young man of this generation"

Chen Tang rolled his eyes, "Doctor Xiao Zhou, why is that your narcissism never have any decline"

"My beauty never have any decline, so why not boast myself ---- cut the talk, for which beauty are you buying this trinket for, hm?", Xiao Zhou teased.

"Uh.. Doc it's better to not tell you... you're such a..."

BOOM

......unlucky star.

Before the word could be said a loud bang was heard at the same time as the thunder roared in the sky. For a moment no one knew the reason for the loud bang.

"... maybe the thunder???", Chen Tang asked confused.

Xiao Zhou's face was devoid of it's usual smile as he said in a rare-to-come cold voice, "Are you stupid old man? Why should the ground vibrate for a thunder in sky!"

Xiao Zhou immediately grabbed Chen Tang's hands and dragged him away from the sound of explosion and in a moment, he found the emergency exit of the shop they were at and sent him off through that.

"Hey! Doc! aren't you coming????", Chen Tang shouted among others who's successfully found the exit and made their way to leave from the commotion.

Xiao Zhou's lips curled up a little and he said in a voice filled with amusement, "No. I am waiting for an acquaintance"

He turned around and walked towards the place of explosion.

Xiao Zhou, as expected, didn't walk towards the area of explosion. Instead, he changed his tracks in the middle and hid behind a car and changed his tracks towards the abandoned area of the city market. He sneaked and passed and sure enough

The "boss" and his "assistant" each had a pair of a scimitar in the size of a knife and a hand gun pointed at a seemingly foreigner. They seemed to have exchanged some papers and the "foreigner" was suddenly attacked from behind and coughed a mouthful of blood and the "boss" seized the opportunity to grab back the documents that were exchanged previously and successfully grabbed hold of all the documents and immediately tied up the foreigner and his allies all without breaking a sweat.

"Mission.." before the word completed left the throat of that assistant, something unexpected happened and a group of locals with a foreigner as head gathered and before the "boss" and his crew make a move, they cut off their retreating path.

"Jacques, this is my place! Do you think you can leave unscathed if you a touch a strand of hair of any of my gang member here?", The "boss" spoke up.

"Fan Ziming!! It was supposed to be a peaceful transaction but you have to mess it up and now you ask me whether I dare to? The question must be, whether you would be able to make it alive out of here!!", Jacques who's now the leader of these locals surrounding them shouted.

"Cut the crap talk!", Without anyone knowing the Doctor Xiao Zhou sprinted to the middle, knocked the gun out of the assistant, took aim and shot straight at Jacques, instantly killing him.

But what shocked others were the next thing he did, he slightly tilted his head and looked at the boss and winked at him!

With their leader suddenly dead, the other locals were at a loss momentarily losing their advantageous position and the boss and his gang got the upper hand immediately shoving and fighting for next 3 mins and the commotion ended and the locals aiding the foreigner were took away and the abandoned place became once again abandoned leaving only 3 people behind - Fan Ziming - the boss, his assistant and Xiao Zhou.

"Yo! See who we have here! Isn't it our Doctor Xiao Zhou", the assistant teased.

"Yes Yes little boss Lin Yuan, you need this handsome doctor to your rescue everytime, hm? Not even holding your gun properly, what a shame. How can I rest assured leaving my darling's life in your hands.", With that he casted a flirtatious look at Fan Ziming and then smiled and little did he know Fan Ziming's breathing hitched at that bright smile.

"If It wasn't for you..", before Lin Yuan could continue, Fan Ziming stopped him and casted a glare and Lin Yuan immediately shut up.

Xiao Zhou laughed, "Hey boss, don't glare at a kid. You'll scare everyone away if you keep glaring with those eyes of yours", without saying anything else Xiao Zhou immediately advanced, his one hand still holding the hand gun and the other hand removed the mask on Fan Ziming's face.

Fan Ziming, for the lack of a better word, is the most gorgeous man one could imagine in their dreams. His phoenix eyes narrowed and his eyes set off an -- You're irritating so get out of my sight -- gaze, he has sharp nose and thin lips, asking for a kiss, Xiao Zhou thought.

He immediately wrapped his arms around Fan Ziming's neck with one of his hand still holding the dangerous shot gun. And Fan Ziming, who is now wrapped under the arms of this guy was still holding the scimitar in a hand and the gun on the other but still haven't moved an inch, as if possessed by a ghost

When Fan Ziming came back to senses he immediately shrugged him away.

Xiao Zhou laughed and said, "2 minutes 25 seconds"

Fan Ziming : ".. what?"

Xiao Zhou: "The longest time you let me hold you.. today, 2 mins 25s." He laughed and continued in a small voice that only two of them could hear, "Is my boss slowly falling for me?"

Fan Ziming, today, seemed to be affected by slow-response-poison, he blinked for a moment and said, ".. NONSENSE!"

Now along with Xiao Zhou even Lin Yuan started laughing.

"Have you had enough?", Fan Ziming raised his voice at Lin Yuan and turned to look at Xiao Zhou, "And you.." he inched closer to intimidate but Xiao Zhou didn't back off, ".. WHY ARE YOU HERE!", Fan Ziming gritted every word out of his teeth.

Xiao Zhou casually said, "Boss, this is the city market! CITY MARKET! It's you guys who disturbed our peace! Why are you asking me such a lame question. what? hanging out with Lin Yuan even made you this dumb?"

Lin Yuan : "... what did I even do.."

"I know it's the market! but how did you find this abandoned place..!", Fan Ziming's voice was still low.

Xiao Zhou sighed, "Fan Ziming ah Fan Ziming.. First, you guys decided to collaborate to exchange confidential details of our countries medicinal drugs with foreigners, that's the first crime. But when did you guys even thought anything bad about doing crimes. Secondly, you guys could have peacefully exchanged the information but no, you intentionally set off an explosion, leading away some of the foreigners because you were not ready to sell all the information and decided to capture them as a whole and use the medicinal records to exchange for even better price with another organization. Am I right?", he didn't wait for any reply and continued, ".. But you didn't expect those foreigners to be more cunning than you and didn't expect they have a backup of such huge numbers within our city, here, within our locals and you're caught off guard, right?"

Fan Ziming didn't say a word much less Lin Yuan.

"I happened to pass by here with a friend", he grinned as if the one who completely analyzed their plans was someone else and took out a string silver bracelet from his pocket and grabbed Fan Ziming's wrist and tied the bracelet in the blink of an eye without anyone could realise.. ".. and I bought this bracelet, then I heard the explosion so I decided to stay back and give this bracelet to you. Do you like it?", Xiao Zhou smiled.

That smile again, that damned smile.. Fan Ziming's heart was in a disarray. He tried to take off the bracelet but in the end he unconsciously tightened it.

Lin Yuan couldn't hold his laughter anymore and started laughing.

"Xiao Zhou! what is that you want from me!", Fan Ziming no longer playing with the bracelet asked with a straight face.

"Me? oh.. I only want you"

Fan Ziming looked unamused as if he's already used to it.

"Don't lie to me!", Fan Ziming gritted his teeth.

Xiao Zhou inched closer, "Fan Ziming, I can understand that you don't like me the way I like you. I know you're a gangster who deserves thousand deaths for all the crime you've committed till now. But..", Xiao Zhou's eyes lowered, ".. how many reasons you give me, It's still the fact that you saved my life and from then I decided to cling onto you for a lifetime!", his usual playfulness returned back to his face but also had the rare sincerity, "...Don't judge my love for you even if you can't accept it.", he smiled and returned the gun to Lin Yuan and turned around and walked away.

"Don't judge my love.." Fan Ziming.. You don't know what you've given me. So even if you can't accept my love, don't disgrace my love for you.

"Even if you can't accept it.." Xiao Zhou.. If only I met you before I met him.. It's not that my breathing doesn't hitch whenever you smile.. It's not that my heart doesn't beat wild whenever I see you coming closer to me.. It's not that I don't want to hold you in my arms and live peacefully for a lifetime.. It's because I can't afford to. I don't deserve you.. You're the sunshine and I'm a black abyss. I'll only engulf your brightness. So please don't become my second scar.
