[Scarlet then went to the rooftop as Christine said.]

(I wonder what she wants to talk about. I'm sure it's important but why now when the school's about to close?)
[Scarlet arrived at the rooftop. She saw Jana who was leaning on the railings, her back facing Scarlet.]

Jana!.... What did you want to talk about. It seemed urgent.

What took you so long?
Scarlet Mendoza
Oh, sorry I was just...
[Jana straightened her back and turned to look at Scarlet straight in the eye.]

[Scarlet's eyes widen upon what Jana has just said.]

Jana no... You misunderstoood! It was only an accident! I-I just tripped when I was trying to reach a book at the library! Andrew happened to be there so he helped me.
[Scarlet was walking through the shelves at the library trying to look for a book to read. She saw an interesting one at the top shelf. She tried to reach up to it but it was way too high.]

(Ugh! Screw my short height. That book looks interesting though.)
[She continued to struggle trying to reach for the book. She lifted one of her legs and tip toed but her fingers just barely touched the book. All of a sudden, her one foot that was on the ground slipped and she almost fell when an arm circled her waist to catch her from falling.]

Whoa! You're heavy--
[Andrew held onto the shelf with his other hand just in time making them hit the shelf with Scarlet's back. Their eyes widen in shock when their lips almost touched.]
[At the same time, Jana was looking for Andrew when she came accross him hugging Scarlet. In her perspective, she only saw Andrew's back and his head close to Scarlet's. Jana immediately knew it was Scarlet because of her hair. Her eyes boiled in anger as tears started to fall from her eyes. She immediately left the library.]
[Scarlet covered her mouth and Andrew immediately retreated.]

Well, I just saw that book up there that seemed to be out of place and it kinda looked interesting so I wanted to check it out. Since I still have free time.

[Andrew grabbed the small book and handed it to Scarlet.]

[Jana suddenly grabbed Scarlet by the neck and turned her to the railings. Christine who was secretly watching behind the door, immediately went out to stop Jana. She didn't thought it would come to this!]

[Jana didn't seem to listen.]

J-Jana...! I... C-can't breathe! Please--
[Jana only tightened her grip on her neck. The wind blew stronger and their hairs almost covered their faces.]
[Scarlet wondered what had gotten into Jana's mind. She noticed something wrong in her eyes. It felt odd, like she's not herself.]
[Christine tried to grab Jana's arm that was gripping Scarlet's neck but her arm was somehow too strong. Christine didn't thought it would come to this. She thought if she made Jana hate Scarlet, she'll be able to keep Jana to herself. She was jealous of how Jana always hangs out with Scarlet and when she saw her crying two days ago, she made it into an oppurtunity to finally separate them.]

Jana please! That's enough!

[Both Christine and Scarlet were shocked upon hearing on what Jana just said in a whisper. Christine panicked and she tried to pull Jana's arm to let go of Scarlet. She finally managed to pull Jana's arm but she didn't expect that as soon Jana let go of her, Scarlet staggered back to fall from there.]
[Jana suddenly felt her head hurt and when she opened her eyes, she saw Scarlet reaching her arm to them. Jana immediately tried to reach to her.]
[Jana tried to catch Scarlet's hand but only managed to touch the tip of her fingers. Christine and Jana heard her scream but it suddenly stopped as Scarlet fell head first on the ground. They saw blood slowly coming out of her head. They rushed out of the school building and went to where Scarlet was. The sun has already set and it was starting to get dark. Nobody could've seen them as all the students and teachers had already left and the building they were on was at the back part of the school.]

[covers mouth]....Oh my....!
[There they saw Scarlet lying on the ground eyes still wide open and blood seeping out of her head. They felt terrified upon seeing their friend like this.]
[Jana fell on her knees. She couldn't believe what she had just done. She tried to wake Scarlet up but she didn't move. She didn't know why she did that but just earlier she felt a strong urge to kill her.]

(Why... How did this happen?! What have I done?! Just earlier I felt the urge to strangle her. Sure I was mad at her for betraying me but I would never want to k-kill her! I just couldn't!)

Scarlet! Please wake up!
[Jana leaned to listen for her heartbeat but she couldn't hear anything. This only meant that she was gone... forever.]
[Tears fell from her eyes as she had lost a friend. Her hand went to close Scarlet's eyes. Jana then went to grab her phone from her pocket to call the police. Christine noticed this and here eyes widen.]

What're you doing?!

I'm calling the police!
Christine Smith
Are you crazy?! You're gonna turn yourself in?!
Jana Rondez
No...! It was just an accident!
Christine Smith
And what are you gonna tell them, then? That you were mad at her and "accidentally" strangled her and pushed her off?!

[Christine held Jana in the arms and looked straight into her eyes.]

[Christine looked at Scarlet's dead body and then back at Jana.]

We have to bury her...! There's a forest right behind this school. Get a shovel in the storehouse. I can at least carry her body.
[Jana was shocked on what Christine just said. Right now, Jana was more scared by Christine's look. The way Christine's face looked like right now was of like a different side of her that she has never seen before. But she didn't want to go to prison so she didn't have a choice but to oblige.]
[Jana went to the storehouse and used the keys she borrowed from his father who was the principal of this school. She took the shovel and went back to Christine who somehow managed to carry Scarlet's body into the forest.]
[Christine grabbed the shovel and started digging. Jana grew anxious as she was still not sure about this. When she looked at Christine who continued to dig, she felt terrified as she didn't know who this girl is anymore. Before, Christine was always quiet and shy, she never really talked to people until she met Jana and Scarlet. Jana never knew that Christine had this side of her.]
[It was now late at night when they have finally buried Scarlet's body in the forest just outside the school. They both sat on the ground exhausted on what they have just done.]

Now nobody's gonna know we killed her. People would just think she went missing.

Christine, a-are you sure about this? Shouldn't we just tell them the truth and--
[Jana was interrupted when Christine suddenly held her shoulders.]

You should be grateful I helped you hide the body! You're my best friend, Jana! I'm only doing this because I care about you! Actually, I'm even glad now that Scarlet is dead! Now no one's gonna ruin our friendship AHA-HA!
[Jana was terrified of Christine smile, her giggle made her flinch. She didn't thought Christine was like this! Jana pushed Christine's hands and stood to back away from her.]

[Jana went to walk away. She didn't want to be friends with a crazy girl like her!]

If you don't want to be friends with me, then I guess I'll have to tell everyone that you killed your own friend and buried her here out of jealousy. I wonder how it'll turn out? [giggles]

[Christine turned her head and looked at Jana with a creepy smile. Her eyes suddenly glowed in red.]

[ A sudden loud thunder that made Jana flinch and fall to the ground. She immediately stood up and run.]

[Natalie looked out the window to see the quiet road outside. Only the streetlights kept the neighbourhood lit. She began to feel worried as usually, Scarlet would come home at 8 if they had a group study.]
[Natalie tried to call Scarlet but it seemed she couldn't reach her.]
[It suddenly started to rain and the thunders just gets louder.]

[Natalie took off her apron and put on a jacket. She grabbed her umbrella before going outside. She walked through the street on her way to go to Jana Rondez's house. As she was on her way, passing by a few houses, she stopped at the side of the city road to wait for a cab.]
[Natalie stood there for a few minutes when she heard a loud scream. Her head instantly turned towards the scream she heard. She follwed towards where she heard it and ended up in an alley. She walked a few steps into the alley, looking around but didn't see anything as it was dark.]

[Natalie found it strange as she was sure that she heard the scream from here. Not to mention it was a loud one. She picked up her phone from her pockets and turned on the flashlight.]
[She saw nothing out of the ordinary until she took one step forward.]
[Her foot stepped on something hard, like a thick branch. Natalie looked down flashing her light to the ground and she couldn't believe what her eyes just saw.]

[Natalie saw a dead body of a man. But what's more terrifying is that it looked like it was drained by something leaving only its skin and bones.]
[Natalie immediately checked on the body. She checked the neck and saw a bite mark. There was a drop of blood that seeped out of the bite. She touched it and it felt warm.]

[Natalie heard another scream from the other end of the alley. She immediately stood up, dropped her umbrella and ran towards the scream grabbing her gun she kept on her belt.]
[Her feet came to a halt when she saw a girl held by a person, its mouth sucking on the girl's neck. The girl looked terrified, her face and body slowly turning pale and skinny.]
[Without a second thought, Natalie pointed her gun to the person holding the girl and fired.]
[The person stopped what she was doing and looked at Natalie.]

[Natalie trembled as she walked back slowly without taking her eyes off of the vampire. The vampire dropped the girl. Natalie knew that girl was already dead and she wouldn't be able to do anything as guns don't work on such creature.]

[The vampire slowly walked towards her, stepping on the dead girl's body. Natalie couldn't see the vampire's face and could only see it's red glowing eyes.]
[The vampire ran towards her at high speed but Natalie couldn't move an inch. The vampire raised its bloody hands to grab her but there was a tall figure that suddenly appeared out of nowhere and held the vampires hand. It's other hand hit the vampire's neck, making the vampire collapse on the tall person's arms.]

[The tall person looked at Natalie with its glowing red eyes.]

[Natalie lost her conciousness. Another person appeared behind her to catch her from falling.]
[Mrs. Rondez knocked on her daughter's room but Jana didn't answer. Earlier, she saw Jana drenched from the rain, coming home late at night. Jana didn't even greet her mother and just went straight up to her room. Mrs. Rondez felt worried as she didn't know what could have happened.]

Jana, are you alright?
[Jana stood in the shower, staring at the wall for minutes. She still couldn't recover from the shock of seeing Scarlet's death and the unexpected side of Christine. Jana felt guilty on what she had done. She didn't know what'll happen next if everyone find out that Scarlet went missing, especially her parents. Jana could only imagine that worst scenarios that'll happen if they found out that she was involved in Scarlet's death.]

[Evelynn let go of the knife and let Jackson carve the markings on the girl's body. Scarlet's didn't even flinch as she was in deep sleep. Jackson carefully carved the markings for the ritual. He made sure to not touch the blood that came out of the wounds.]
[Jackson was almost done when he accidentally touched the blood on one of Scarlet's wounds. His hand immediately retreated.]

[She gets up and went straight to the bathroom. Her vision was a little blurry but she saw a strange person in the mirror above the sink.]

[As her eyes began to see more clearly, a black haired girl was what she saw in the mirror. Her hand went to touch the mirror and her eyes widen in realization.]
