...PROLOGUE...

In a dimension just next door but incredibly far away,where magic is hated, there exists humanoid creatures with great dark magic potency ,hybrids of fea and demons called the eves.In the year 2021 after a cosmic event which led to the sudden over population of our andromeda galaxy with extraterrestrial and supernatural creatures.This was due to the sudden distruction of all the galaxies in dimensions where said creatures resided by a strange phenomenon.The eves realized they had the upper hand with magic which seemed to be non-existent to most of creatures and so did they. Eves were a proud race so they chose to fight rather than be enslaved in the name of peace.But after merely a year of battle the new world order which they named the united dimensions alliance could not stand a chance and thus peace was the only other option.The eves were along with other creatures decided to form an alliance which they named the united dimensions alliance. After almost 200 years of uninterrupted peace.There was whispering about a prophesy among the eves ; it stated that a king of hell would love an eve soo much, his love would turn her into a monster that would destroy the world and thus in the year 2217 the wars begun again and the alliance was prepared, determined to wipe out the eves, but the battle ended on a truce and the alliance with many losses. 299 years later, the prophesy had long been forgotten when a king of hell decided to take a stroll through a park and found an 8 year old girl sitting alone quietly disecting a bird, He smiled.

EPISODE 1

Enyeko looked up with her usual bored expression at Lois her roomate and sighed. "You want to know why I wake up like this? Well, it started years ago". she said amid climbing out of bed."Every night when I sleep, I wake up. But... My body doesn't." she shrugged lightly "It took a while for me to realize that it was my soul that was awake..." Her voice became filled with fear as she spoke slowly a quietly as if afraid someone might hear "At first I thought I was awake but couldn't move. I tried screaming, but I couldn't even hear my own voice. It was like a squeak. Then a shadow of a cat would fall on my bed,from the window"she looked at her blankets as she said this, then stood to stare at it as she continued almost mechanicaly ", "then a man... I've never seen his face. He is pitch black like tar and I couldn't even see eyes or skin. Just the man-shaped figure would rise from the shadow. His feet don't... touch the ground. He hovers out of the shadow and comes to my bed then bends over to look at me. We are face to face, but all I see is darkness. Then he reaches out to touch my face, but I wake up and I realize that everything around me is exactly the same as in the dream. I usually flex my fingers to check that I'm really awake. Years later, after I met this weird guy who I kinda fell in love with..."

Her voice is now shifted to sounding like sick joy, "The dark man-like thing suddenly had a face, his face. I began to see it every night. it was a little comforting. When he was no longer part of my life, the face slowly just disappeared and turned back onto the dark figure. A week ago, I saw the guy again. He now... goes to the same classes as me.This is a really big school I don't even know he schooled here and I'm in level 200". she looked at Lois with tiredness ,frustration and dispair ." now, every night, it's not the black tar like figure . ITS HIM THAT COMES!!!!!!!!." She held her face in dispair with a deep breath as she screamed those words, looking down to the floor and letting her hair envelope her face before lifting her head and looking back straight into Lois's eyes with terror in hers,she held her gaze till she knew Lois could feel the terror in her "now he steps out of the shadow *****" she continued " and reaches out like he's asking for a hug. Then..." Her voice began to break.

"Chains.............." there's a long pause followed by a thick silence "they come out of the shadow.................. and they wrap themselves around me. Till I have absolutely...no inch..... left unchained." Another long pause follows almost like she's narrating a movie she's horribly entranced by as she moved her gaze to the floor by her bed right where the shadow of the window planes where forming signaling her getting late for a morning class " The chains are cold and small , the size of rope and they felt like hard,icy metalic worms crawling all over me , I don't fight. .......... the chains.......... anymore." She slowly reaches for her neck to feel it and then slides her hands over her wrists as she casually sits down. Lois takes note of the bruises on then pink and purple and casually wondered how a lizard man's bruises would look as enye continued to speak in a more rushed but houses tone . "they start from my feet, climbing all the way up to my throat, entangling and wrapping me up in cold metalic worms like a boa constrictor .He then begins to sink back into the shadow and the chains drag me out of my bed into mid air and into the shadow along with him. I can still see my body looking peacefully asleep on the bed as I wonder if I am ever going to make it back into it. Inside the shadow of darkness, is another world; a beautiful place filled with light and flowers and peaceful scenery. But although I can see these things, I don't feel anything. All I feel is this ominous presence, like there is something evil there, like it's all a wallpaper and there's something else behind, something dangerous. Then the chains move to wrap around my hands real tight. I can suddenly move everything except my hands which are chained together and streched up and my legs also still chained, but streched apart.... he stands before me and his hand reshapes into claws which he uses to rip my inside apart, I'm then ,totally *****. I struggle and try to hide my body from his sight but that just gives him amusement as the chains put me in a horizontal position before him."

She looked at her hands and gritted her teeth as she said, "Then, he... he... hugs me and says..." She said it as it echoes through her head, "You are mine, you will always be mine, it hurts me that I have to remind you in this way but you need to know. You can run but you won't get away, not in reality, not in the vale, not in your dreams, not even in death. Everything that you are and ever will be, belongs to me and is because of me, so I have come for my pound of flesh " She shuddered and continued, "Then he..." She breathed out deeply. "He..."

She breathed out again, "He... Kisses me, and rapes me... I feel it all and I scream, then I realize that I can speak again. It feels awfully painful as I feel my hymen get ripped apart. He bites my neck and I feel the chains actually break against his teeth, which are inhuman,and he takes a chunk of my flesh along with the chains. He also digs into my thighs with his claws , going on and on like a hungry mad dog. His skin is cold and im still very concious and wounded in many places ,hurts more than anything. I cry and scream and beg him, telling him it hurts. I say, 'please stop... I beg you, please stop.... Please.' I guess I can only speak because he loves to hear me cry. Each cry makes him ****** and claw harder."

Her bored expression returned. "It goes on for like...forever and then just like that, I wake up. It happens every night. I don't understand... and I don't know...why, but I don't like it. It's happened so long that I sometimes hear those words when I see the guy's face... And it feels like icy fingers are caressing me... Tightly. Sometimes, in the night, I lay there feeling cold and alone, scared of sleep, scared of the night, wanting someone to hold me, and tell me it's okay.heh" she stops and rubs her temples. "what am I saying you don't need to hear my pathetic bullshit.I just hope that he will go away. But there's no one. There's no one. I'm... All alone in the cold dark night. Even in this world, which is full of light. I'm in the darkness. I'm cold and alone. I keep screaming, 'Stop! please... stop! Somebody... Hear me! Somebody... Please...!"

Lois looked at her face in awe. She had been roommates with Enyeko for a month and she was sure nightmares were the reason why she always woke up screaming "Stop!", but she never imagined this. "Don't look at me like that", Enyeko said. "I don't need your pity." She began to flex her fingers then headed to the bathroom as Lois watched her walk away.

That night...

Lois watched as Enyeko slept, wondering whether she was in pain or if it was happening again, she watched for a bit and it looked like the girl was at peace , unmoving, unflinching , a sleep little death,she continued to watch as finishing an assignment and was sleepy when she noticed the window pane.

naturally there should be rows of horizontal lines on the floor indicating the shadow of the window,but there was nothing , just the floor like there was no light passing through the window. She stopped for a second taking notice of the rooms change in temp. *This isn't good* she thought, feeling ominous about the whole situation, *someone or some entity is using magic on the school campus, but who or what is sooo old and powerful the campus checkers can't detect it. that's a level .........* she causally but cautiously looked at the school handbook which enye keeps on the study desk.She picked it up and opened to the pages with school rules and cautions to be taken neatly written on top and skimmed till she reached the section in bold caps and red ink.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU NOTICE THE USE OF MAGIC ON CAMPUS.

The use of magic is against the law and school rules without special permission.If you ,see,sense,find ,notice or happen upon someone using or with a magic item on campus, you should not panick no matter the situation.

keep calm till the Magic watch comes to deal with it. if it's a normal case they will detect it.

But if it happens to be one of these three special cases.

case one; of which there's no change in temperature .A powerful sorcerer is on campus. Do not engage, just move about your activities .

case two; of which there's a force field near by ,a hunter is working on campus.Try your utmost best to stay out of the crossfire.

case THREE ;In the case of change of temperature of environment and detection of magic but no response from the Magic watch. THERE'S AN EXTREMELY OLD AND POWERFUL CREATURE NEAR BY DO NOT ENGAGE OR ANGER IT. JUST HIDE!!!!!!

That night, they slept in the same bed, *she looked peaceful in her bed she must feel lonely*, she thought to herself. She put her books together and crawled into the bed, then wrapped her arms around her and covered them both. "Maybe this will help". She then fell asleep smiling as she watched Enyeko's shoulders slowly drop. The moment Lois fell asleep, a black cat walked on the wall close to their bedroom window and came to a stop in front of the window. Its shadow dropped into the room onto the floor right by Enyeko's bed. A figure began to rise out of the shadow, but then it stopped abruptly when it noticed Lois. It then retreated back into the shadow and the cat walked away.

Enyeko opened her eyes slowly and closed them again. The sunlight was hitting her directly in the face from the window. She also realized someone was hugging her. She looked in the direction of the feeling and saw Lois sleeping peacefully. She slowly peeled her off and got out of the bed feeling something was missing. She got to the bathroom and got ready for lectures. As she was getting out of the bathroom, she met Lois at the door. "Good morning", Lois said to her. "Did you sleep well?" 

The question hung for a while then her eyebrows lifted as she said, "Yes! I slept really well. I slept really well". She repeated it to herself as if she didn't understand what she was saying. "What about the dream?" Lois asked. Enyeko blinked once, then twice and said with amazement "I didn't dream." She smiled and laughed then attempted to hug Lois and walked into the room. she got ready for her lectures and left the hostel.

She took notes as the lectures went on. She just felt at peace and happy it seemed like the day her problems would just disappear as she recalled how she happened to end up sitting next to Jones.

Lost in thought and in a hurry to get to the hall, she did not notice that she was being called as she walked past the library, until her hand was grabbed and she stopped to look at who grabbed it. She tried to pull her hand away as she visibly shuddered .When she saw the face of the man of her nightmares, Jones, the guy she admired and feared at the same time. He smiled and said, "I've been trying to get you to stop forever but as always you were lost in thought so you didn't hear me, or were you purposefully avoiding me?" She looked at him and replayed the question then said "Huh?" She still couldn't grasp what was going on. 

So he laughed and said, "Every day when you pass the library, I call out to you but you never respond. You always have this meh and distant look so I guessed you were lost in thought". "Oh...", was all she could say because she felt uncomfortable, scared and nervous at the same time. She mustered words and said, "Is there so...so...something you wanted?" He eyed her for a moment and realized that she was shaking so he let go. Then he said, "Yes, would you mind sitting next to me during lectures today?" She looked at him bewildered, blinked and said, "Huh?" And that's how she ended up sitting next to him.

...After lectures......

She went to see professor Declan. "Enyeko, I wanted to speak to you yesterday because I noticed that you were depressed and I wanted to suggest help from a friend of mine. As a psychology student, I don't expect you to notice it, because most often, the doctor can't treat himself. But you are one of my good students and it would be a shame for me if you killed yourself" He said in his usual serious and stern but casually joking tone. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a card, smiled at her and said, "Get help okay? Whatever's bothering you, no matter what it is, there's a cure for everything." He smiled again and said, "That's all." She took the card, gave him a nod and walked toward the door. The moment she got out of the hall she eyed the card. "I would have gotten help if I thought anyone could... but who knows, maybe there's something to this." She put the card in her pocket and went back to her hostel.

"Welcome back," Lois said as Enyeko walked in "Ehn? I don't know how to respond that." "Huh?" Lois replied. "Didn't your parents ever do that with you?" "No", Enyeko replied. "They were loners and weirdos so nothing in my home was normal."She smirked alitte. "Must have been sad right?", Lois asked. "No!, it was truly peaceful." Enyeko replied with a smile. Lois looked at her with a confused expression as she changed into her onesie. "Well... what did you eat for dinner tonight?" Enyeko zipped up the onesie and began to stare into space. "Did I... Did I... Did I eat yesterday?" She turned to look at Lois whilst scratching her head. "Eh... Did you buy anything edible? my original species doesn't eat often so I forget to in this human body", she said with a forced smile. Lois laughed and said "it's a common thing in Universities with other beings having to change into human forms to go to UDA funded Universities for literal equality sake. alot if creatures take a while to figure out their bodies so it's fine.you aren't my first green roommate" while handing her a pack of fried rice. Enyeko sighed and said "Thanks" as she took it. That night they slept in the same bed and this time Enyeko hugged Lois instead .

Enyeko walked out of the lecture hall with Jones and almost bumped into Lois who seemed to be waiting for her. "Oh", finally she said then looked at Jones then Enyeko expectantly but Enyeko just overlooked the expectancy and asked, "What are you doing here?" "Well," Lois responded. "I was waiting for you to get out of class so we could go out. Who's this by the way?" she gestured to Jones. "Mind introducing us?", Jones asked. Enyeko looked back at him like she forgot he was there then said "Oh, right" in her usual bored tone "Jones, meet Lois. Lois, Jones." Then she went back to Lois like it never happened "So you were saying something?" lois grabbed "Yes, come." 

She grabbed Enyeko's arm and tried pulling her as she said "Nice to meet you Jones, see you soon". Enyeko blinked twice and pulled her arm free then said "Hold on a minute. I have to go to the library to study". Lois looked at her sternly and said "So that's why you come back late although you are a loner. But come on just go out with me this once". Enyeko looked back and saw Jones watching. *What will he think if I say no? That I'm a shut in weirdo? Or that I don't take my lessons seriously? But he seems like the easy going type so the best option is to accept. Knowing Lois, she's probably invited other people. I will hate this, but I've been dodging talking to Jones and I'm not ready to talk to him properly yet so." Okay fine, I will go". She sighed.

At a bar...

Enyeko looked around, then back to the faces of the five strangers. She couldn't stand the disco lights and the insanely loud music that forced everyone to shout in order to be heard. "I hate it." Even more annoying were the three guys who couldn't seem to care about personal space. "I want to go home." Lois who was supposed to be her shield was already drunk and was off somewhere dancing, "I want to go home," She struggled to remember the names of these people. She knew one of the guys was Lois' boyfriend and another was Lois' best friend's boyfriend and Lois's best friend was the one with the blond hair and the remaining were extras who were invited because they looked sad and alone just like her."They are also probably roommates and sharks", she thought to herself.

She checked the time. 12:56. "Huh, I've never been out at this time. I want to sleep so bad", she looked left and saw one couple getting too intimate next to her then she looked right and saw Lois' boyfriend looking for Lois. "I'm going home." She got up and tried to maneuver around him, but the seat was made for absolute privacy. "Annoying." She sat down and thought about it. "This might work", then began to go under the table, but stopped abruptly when she felt a hand on her back. She came back up and saw Lois' boyfriend grinning at her. "Where are ya going?" he asked while leaning and almost falling in her face, "Huh?" She said, letting him realise she didn't hear him right. So he leaned in and said it again in her ear (the conversation continued like this). She ignored his alcohol breath and replied "I'm going home". 

"Come on", he responded. "I've been watching you. All you did was sit here watching everyone else. You didn't even touch your drink." She eyed him in a bored fashion and said "Well...", he interrupted before she could continue, "Okay listen", he took a bottle of brandy as he spoke, "If you drink three glasses of this", he said as he poured it into her half full glass till it was full to the brim and pouring on the table, "I will let you pass and save you from crawling under the table." "Why should I do that when I could just crawl under the table?" she said, utterly bored ."That would be no fun" he responded. She sighed and shrugged then took the glass and emptied it in 10 seconds. It tasted bad, but felt good. Her head spun a little as he clapped and cheered then filled the glass again.

"For someone who claims not to drink, you drink like a pro", he said then put the bottle down. She picked up the glass and said "I try not to think about it." The glass got empty faster than the first. And now she felt lighter. Her shoulders had slumped and her face looked relaxed as she emptied the final glass. "What now? What was I going to do after drinking?" She looked around trying to remember. "Right!" She got up and took a step then stumbled on Lois' boyfriend. She slowly lifted herself as she heard him laughing. "You really can't take alcohol" he said, "But now there's no way you can go home alone." He held her chin and tilted her face toward him, then said, "Now it's time to have fun".

Author's Notes: 'Shark' is a term used in Ghana for Nerds or consistent learners

She woke up startled. She was on her bed. "What happened?" Lois was asleep next to her and they both were clothed. She sighed a sigh of relief then picked up her phone and turned it on. Then she panicked and jumped out of bed saying, "Shit shit shit shit shit shit"

She began to slow down when she checked the time and saw she had ten more minutes to spare and she could see the hall very close by. She turned with a sudden jolt when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She breathed a sigh of relief the third time that morning. "I am never drinking again", she mumbled. "Good morning", Jones said in his normal cheerful voice. Enyeko breathed out and said with all the boredom in the world, "What is good about it? Don't do that again, I hate surprises".

"What?" Jones said with a lost expression. "Don't startle me", she replied. "How was your Sunday?", he asked. She thought back to the day before, and the events of the night. For some reason, she couldn't remember anything from after the third drink. She looked at him and said, "It was normal." They kept walking as they were getting closer to their lecture hall and he was continuously raising his eyebrows and looking at her weirdly, so she stopped and said, "What?!" like it took all the energy in her body to do.

"Well..." he said, "You didn't ask me how my day went yesterday." She looked at him with exasperation, then blinked twice and said "How was your day?" He smiled broadly and said "I've got a migraine and my brain will raise, fall, up, down and sideways. Thank God it's Monday cause soon it will be Friday. Mondays will always be better than Sundays since Sundays are sacred days. I don't know why they always seem so dismal." Enyeko raised her eyebrows and turned her head sideways then said, "All you asked me to say was 'how was your day?' and I didn't even get any of that".

He smiled and said, "Thank you for asking" As they were about to enter the hall, she stopped abruptly as she noticed a familiar face walking towards them. "What's wrong?" Jones asked but she ignored the question as she was concentrated in making out the person and then she yelled "Lois' boyfriend!!" at the person's direction. The person hesitated upon hearing the statement and then hurried toward them.

"Hey KO", he said when he got there. "Huh?" she replied. Then he said, "Last night you said if you had friends, they'd probably call you KO" Her eyes widened as she said "Yes, about last night, what happened?" He was about to speak but got stopped as his gaze met Jones'. Then he paused and said, "I don't remember." "Strange, but he just said... " "So where to?" he said, interrupting her thought. "Class, of course" she said. then asked "What?", when she saw his expression change to dread. "You are in the suicide class?!" He said, almost like he couldn't believe it.

"What is that?" she asked a little disturbed, he almost laughed as he said, "Are you telling me you don't know Professor Declan's class is called the suicide class?". "No, I don't know" she said. "Why is it called that?". Lois' boyfriend looked left then right like he was doing something illegal then leaned in to speak but before he could say anything Jones cut him by saying "We are three minutes away from being late" and pushed her into the class.

After they took their seats, she looked at him suspiciously and asked him, "Why did you do that?" "Because we were going to be late, but we made it", he said with a smile. "Strange", she said, then turned to look ahead as professor Declan walked in.

An hour into the lecture and her head begun to bop. This continued for five minutes then she finally gave in to sleep. The moment her eyes closed she awoke, like the sleep had just vanished. She could tell what was happening because she couldn't move and all she could think was "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no". She was stuck and she begun to curse herself for thinking it was over. She looked left and right but there was no cat. Everything was going on in the class like her presence wasn't registered.

Then Jones' head turned mechanically toward her with a disturbing smile and he said, "Missed me? Did you have fun with the two-day vacation I allowed you to have? You better have enjoyed it, because..." His voice then changed "Because I'm angry and I will make sure you think twice before you ever let a mere human touch my property". "What is he talking about?" "Of course you don't know what I'm talking about, I made you forget, so I can still have it, if I didn't follow you he would have done worse". He smiled and his index finger transformed into a dagger. He raised her arm and put in on the table then said, "This is the hand you used to drink right?"

He positioned the dagger-like finger between her fingers then pressed on the flesh slowly, blood begun to ooze as he pressed harder, cutting into flesh and dividing veins. Then, he begun to slowly drag the dagger through the flesh up her arm. All she could do was watch as her arm was being opened before her and endure the pain as she couldn't scream. He stopped when he reached her elbow, then he looked at her in the eyes and said, "You should not remember, ever. I won't accept it!", he said as his nails enlarged and he pulled her eyes out with it.

She let out a scream. "I can speak". "It's about to get worse". She could feel hands roughly grab at her hair and her face was slammed into the table, then turned sideways. "These ears" he said as he licked it. "You used these ears of yours to listen to that man's request!" All she felt was sharp pain as she screamed and the feeling that her ear was gone. He turned her head the other way and the same sensation was felt there too.

She felt long talons grab her leg. Then, she was pulled upside down like a weightless feather. She hung like that, bleeding from her arm. She could feel the blood from her ear and eyes snaking down her face through her hair and the blood in her ears gave her this awful drowning sensation. She couldn't breathe right and she couldn't hear. She felt cold and all she did was say "Somebody", continuously. Then, she heard him saying in her mind as she felt a slimy tongue lick her thigh.

"I will cleanse you of the filth he left." Canines the length of tea spoons dug into her thigh and she screamed her lungs out, waking up in the process. She looked around. Everything was still normal; her arm was back to normal, she could see and hear and she saw Jones' hand on her shoulder as he said in a concerned voice, "Sorry I woke you, but it looked like you were having a nightmare."
