I looked down on his lips and noticed that his lips curled up into a smirk, Wait! Damn.. I got caught, I got caught staring at him.

"Are you done staring at me?" He asked while smirking.

"My apologies sir, I just wanted to ask about some...documents?"

"Right, some documents you say" He replied still smirking.

Oh God! Did I just embarrassed myself

"It's all right, calm down..... just marry me," he said boldly.

What? Didn't he just say, "Marry him?"

(Omega's False contract)

I woke up early today because it's the first day of the semester after the winter break, I still remembered him saying that it's simply a contract for him, but it's not for me.

I've fallen deeply in love with him...

I quickly pack the essential things as well as some suppressant in case my heat comes; you never know, some Alphas might end up losing their instincts.

"Good morning, Han-wool," one of my classmates said.

"Good morning," I greeted, I wanted to go to the university early so that I could avoid him, but why is he here?

I felt upset for some reason and also anxious.

"Guys don't leave first, we like to make an announcement," said the vice president of the student Council.

I remain seated in my seat, trying to avoid his gaze,but why does he keep staring at me?

Why does he have to come right up to me and stand in front of me? This is terrible.

"Any Good luck for the juniors?" Said the secretary

"Good luck everyone" of course he has to make a comment after all he's the president of the student Council.

The student Council stated, "That's all you guys can go now." Finally it's done.

I need to get out of here as fast as possible!

"Wait a minute, Han- " 

I heard him calling to me, but I chose not to answer. If I keep coming back to him we both might end up miserably and eventually I will hurt myself again, So I need to stay strong, be strong Han-wool you can do it!

When you're in the overwhelming presence of a handsome individual, how do you feel?

When your crush is right in front of you, how do you react? Especially when they've been following you around in your dreams and fantasies.

That's what I felt right at this moment.

I suddenly lost my confidence and was nervous at the same time. I'm very short of words. I hope I succeed in this interview. I can't lose this chance.I need the money... for him, for My Dad.

I quickly composed myself and walked towards him, and in return, he gestured for me to have a seat across from him.

"Introduce yourself," he said without looking up from his paper.

"I'm Astrid Reynold. I'm a graduate of New York State University. I studied business administration and I-"

Did he just cut me off?

"I've already seen all of that. Which position have you come to apply for?" He said, interrupting me as if saying 'you talk too much.

"An assistant."

"What's the job of an assistant?"

"Um... they assist in every aspect of official duties," I said, trying to sound confident even though I'm very much nervous.

"What are your past qualifications- where have you worked before?"

"I've worked as a clerk at a firm and I also worked as an assistant secretary for about two years."

"And do you think I'll be giving the job to you, I mean this isn't just some company, It's the Knights company you're dealing with." He said with a tone of seriousness.

To be honest with myself, I feel offended.

What does he mean by calling me a Secretary? He's probably trying to get a reaction from me or maybe he's just testing me.

I breathed deeply and said "Sir, I have the business sense, charisma, and intelligence to do this job. That's why I here applied, Sir."

"Well see, you've got the job Since we need a temporary assistant."

Really! That was so easy but then again, I got the job!

I'm so happy! Lily and Dad will be elated for me.

"Thank you so much, Sir! I appreciate it and I promise that you won't regret this decision." I said, almost jumping with joy but still remaind calm.

He gave me a stern nod and continued

"You start tomorrow, Ms. Reynold. Be aware, I won't stand for tardiness. Be here at eight sharp." He said, with a serious tone without any interest.

"Yes, Sir. Thank you again!"

As with before, he gave a stern nod.

I walked out of the building with a big smile on my face, I can't wait to return and tell Lily and Dad that I passed the Knights company.

Theodore's P O V

"Bring my breakfast quickly, Ma'am, or I'll leave without it." While waiting for my breakfast, I joked with Claire.

You might be wondering who Claire is.

Claire is my housekeeper, yet she treats me like a son. She looks after my every need as if she were my real mother. My true mother doesn't give a damn about me.

"You won't even dare to do that Mister." She replied trying to sound stern and serious but ended up laughing as she retreats from the kitchen towards me.

"Now go eat." She said dishing my toast and some bacon and eggs neatly on a plate and pushed it towards me.

I sighed but dig in it and it tastes just as delicious as I always, I love it.

I checked my watch and stood up drinking my tea while she tries to knot my tie.

"Thank you, Maria. I'll see you later." I said giving a peck on the cheek and at the same time carrying my suitcase.

"Ok, dear, be safe." She shouted behind me.

The driver came to a complete stop at the holding facility, and I immediately exited the car.

When I stepped inside the building, everybody began working more quickly than they had been before they noticed me.

Of course, they must, because we all know how important this month is to us.

It's March, which means numerous contracts are coming in, which means more money is coming in, and I couldn't help but be excited and elated about it.

Not only will this support me and the company, but it will also benefit the workers, who will receive a double raise in salary if we obtain sufficient contracts.

There is even Woodley's contract that I have been chasing for many years already, but of course to no avail.

It is one of the biggest contracts in the industry. They award a contract every two years and I have never been awarded that big in my whole nine years of being in the industry.

But there is gonna be an exception this year, because this year, I have acquired more money and assets and just last month, I won the businessman of the year award which is a plus on my side.

I will do absolutely anything to get this year's contract, I won't waste this chance. If ever I can get this contract, my dream of expanding my empire will be fulfilled, Not only my Empire but also my family's name in the business industry.

Woodley's contract is one of the best in the country in the profit rate, aside from the huge recommendation one will get, is tempting, to say the least.

I continued doing my work while checking a list of recruit assistants.

Thank goodness, I will finally get a new assistant to handle all of my work. Hopefully, she doesn't behave like the others. I mean, I've had eight or more assistants in less than a month.

Who does that anyway, like really who?

Only me I guess.

All the assistants that I have had so far in the past three months were always shamelessly flirting with me after I have the one-night stand I had with each of them, one of them even went too far by grabbing my crot/ch and that was it.

I was so angry. The way I threw her out of my office and fired her, I'm sure, she won't be leaving her home maybe because of guilt or fear. That's for sure.

Of course, I am a one-night stand man and I never use a woman twice. Not going to happen. That's just not me.

Except her. Ugh!

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.

"Come in" I said in a firm voice.

My new assistant, ms...Astrid, entered when the door opened. What's her name again?

When I told her she got the position, her hazel eyes light up with it, and when she smiled, it was like the whole room brightened, Damn... I was mesmerized.

That's the first time I've ever seen a lady joyful because she got the job, and she appears to be uninterested in me.
