THE shower room was slowly filled with steam coming from the hot shower, spraying two bodies underneath it.
Hazel knew that the warm water coming from the shower above her was not the only reason why she was feeling like her whole body was on fire. It was because of her best friend, Shawn, and his mouth between her legs…
She held onto the soap holder attached to the shower room wall, looking for support as she gave herself into the overwhelming pleasure that started to consume her whole body, while Shawn's tongue was moving expertly around her sensitive flesh. The wetness dripping from her thighs was starting to grow thick with lust. Shawn's mouth sinfully lingers on every inch of her skin his lips touched. Hazel's free hand moved to clutch at his wet hair.
She looked down to him, his cheeks between her legs, down on one knee in a comfortable position in front of her, between her parted legs while she was upright and leaning against the tiled shower room wall.
"****! Your mouth feels amazing, Shawn!" She moaned.
He hummed and Hazel loved the delicious vibration that it sent through her body.
"Do that again."
Shawn stared up at her with a heavy-lidded gaze and hummed beneath her again. He moved his face as his mouth lapped earnestly at her entire slit. Hazel's hips bucked when his hardened tongue touched her now overly sensitive bud.
Oh my God, she thought.
When Shawn pushed the tip of his tongue inside her, her upper teeth sank on the side of her soft bottom lip.
She could not hold back from making noises as Shawn continued to kiss and suck her core. His fingers dug deep onto her thighs as he kept sending delicious pleasures from underneath her body.
"Oh my God, Shawn! I'm close!" She cried.
As Shawn played with Hazel's sensitive bud, again and again, gently pulling it with his warm lips, and flicking it multiple times with his hardened tongue, Hazel gripped harder at his hair and pushed her head back against the wall, shutting her eyes closed, and a satisfied moan escaped her throat upon her release.
.......
HAZEL'S chest was heaving up and down in deep breaths when she bolted upright the bed. She scanned her surrounding. She was in her room. No sign of Shawn or anybody.
What—it was a dream!?
Well, what kind of dream was that? Was she that sex-deprived that she had to dream about being eaten out, and in the bathroom no less! And of all people, with Shawn!
She pulled her blanket away from her legs and found that she was soaking wet between them. She shook her head in disbelief and buried her face in her pillow and screamed.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" How can she have a freaking wet dream with her best friend? And she even leaked and spoiled her sheets!
When she was able to calm herself down, she dropped her legs on the side of the bed. Her feet found her house slippers and wore them. She stood up and quickly walked to the bathroom.
This is crazy, she thought. How can she face Shawn now without thinking about that stupid dream? The way he looked at her with lust-filled eyes, his tight manly grip around her thighs that's both painful and provoking.
And his mouth… Oh, God! The feeling of his mouth on her womanhood was so real, it doesn't seem like a dream at all.
Come on, stop thinking about it, Hazel! She told herself.
Hazel almost jumped when her phone rang. From the doorway to the bathroom, she sprinted back to the bed and picked up the device.
She saw Shawn's face register on the screen and her cheeks burn instantly. She swallowed twice before accepting the call.
"H-hey?"
"Morning, Hazel!"
She cleared her throat. "You're up early," she said.
"Well, it's ten o'clock."
Her eyes widened. She pulled the phone away from her ear and touched the screen to see the time. No kidding, it was really past ten o'clock. She never slept in that late.
Stupid dream…
"Are you just now waking up?" He asked, sounding confused.
"Y-yeah. I stayed up late last night," she lied.
Hazel could imagine Shawn nodding at what she said.
"So, by the way, I just want to make sure you're still on for dinner tonight?"
Hazel threw her gaze on one corner of the room, trying to remember what the dinner was about. She flicked her finger when she recalled the conversation she had with him the other day, he told her he wants to introduce her to his friend.
She had no idea who that friend may be. After what she had just dreamed about, she could not care less about meeting new people. If any, she really just wanted to see Shawn as soon as possible.
"Y-yeah. Of course. Just text me the time and the restaurant."
"That's my girl. Well, hurry up and go to work. Andrea sounds frantic when I called your office earlier."
Hazel let out a short laugh. "Andrea panics about anything."
Shawn laughed, too. "I'll see you tonight, okay?"
"Yup."
When the call ended, Hazel immediately returned to the bathroom. But as soon as she was inside, her mind was instantly flooded with vivid scenes from the dream, she found herself unable to stop her hands when they moved spontaneously to the middle of her thighs.
She bit her lip. She should not be doing this, but her hand seemed to have a mind of its own, it started drawing circles over her ****, the way Shawn in her dream was doing the same with his tongue.
She was still wet, her finger moved easily around her flesh.
"Shawn!" She was surprised when she heard her voice.
Hazel cupped her ****** with her free hand and weakly fell back on the frosted glass partition of the shower, sighing contentedly to the pleasure she was giving herself.
She closed her eyes and imagined the way he looked at her while he was sucking her core beneath her. She called for Shawn's name again as she fell apart from the intense pleasure.
"OH, SHAWN, you're so funny!"
Hazel pulled a straight face as she watched the woman sitting beside her best friend, Shawn, forced a laugh and then flirtatiously ran a hand over his wide shoulder. She kept herself from rolling her eyes heavenwards.
This girl must be desperate, she thought. There actually wasn't anything funny with what her best friend said. She almost invisibly shook her head and raised one of her brows.
She averted her gaze away from the two. She knew it would be very difficult for her to act as if she was really enjoying the evening with her best friend Shawn, and the woman he came with tonight—what was her name again? Carlene? Celine? Corinne? She actually already forgot. But what she didn't saw coming was how she had to endure sitting through the shamelessly obvious flirting of the woman and pretend as if she doesn't care at all—one of the many hurtful side effects of having one-sided feelings towards a man she'd known all her life but who only sees her as a sister. And yes, maybe that woman doesn't know anything about her secret romantic feelings for Shawn, but does she not have any manners? She's only meeting her for the first time to act like that in front of her, for heaven's sake!
And besides, why is Shawn letting this woman, who is practically a stranger, to just overtly touch him inside this restaurant full of people? As far as she could remember, he never liked PDA.
Hazel could not remember if Shawn had even mentioned the girl to her. (Ah, yes, Christine! She finally remembered her name now.) She didn't even know Shawn is exclusively dating someone. When he told her he wanted to introduce her to someone, she never thought he would actually trap her as a third wheel on his date with such a desperate woman. To heck with formalities by him introducing the woman to her because they're best friends. That's the very last thing she wants from him!
And Christine does not look like she's going to stop all her flirtatious actions anytime soon. The woman was not even hiding the hands that are now casually touching Shawn's knees, even though she knew Hazel could see it.
Does she really have no shame at all? Hazel thought. She could not believe how touchy-feely Shawn's date was.
She wanted, a few times, to tell her off, but she decided against it thinking it's Shawn who should be doing it. But he looks like he does not even care at all. Was he enjoying it? Well, if that's the case, then it is all the more infuriating because that Christine woman doesn't look like the type Shawn should be going out with.
Hazel immediately stopped her thoughts. She chided herself for stepping over the line. Regardless of her emotions, she was also not the one to decide who Shawn should be going out with. Sure, Shawn holds a special place in her heart but that does not give her the right to tell him the person he should like.
She's starting to become pathetic pining over Shawn. Oh, yes, she knew this would happen eventually. That she'd see Shawn with another woman one day, and he'd even introduce the lucky woman to her. She just wasn't expecting it was going to happen soon.
He could have at least told her this is what he was planning that night so she would have gotten herself a date and she did not have to be a miserable third wheel between the two of them.
And then, there's also that stupid sex dream…
Hazel let out a deep sigh.
"Are you okay, Hazel?"
Hazel turned to Shawn when she heard his voice and found him looking at her worriedly. Christine's attention shifted to her as well. Her flirty smiles quickly disappeared.
Hazel just stared back at the couple. "Huh?"
"You sighed. What's wrong?" Shawn asked.
She was about to say something, but Christine got ahead of her. "Oh. I'm so sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable, Hazel."
Wow, she thought. She's quick-witted after all.
"No. I'm fine. Just something crossed my mind," she answered.
Shawn's handsome brows knotted. She decided not to give it a thought. Let the man think whatever he wants to think of now, he can say whatever he wants to say after this night is over.
"So, anyway, Hazel, how long have you been friends with Shawn?" She heard Christine asked her shortly.
Good, now she's including her in their conversation. Not that she needed it.
Hazel looked at the bottom of her glass, poked the ice with the straw, obviously unbothered to answer. When she quickly looked up, she saw Shawn looking at her, scolding her silently.
Oh, don't start it, Shawn. She wanted to tell him. It's bad enough that I'm spending my Friday night third-wheeling with the two of you.
Shawn answered the question. "Um, we've been friends since childhood. We grew up together."
Christine just nodded, then smiled. "You're more like siblings then? You know, I used to worry about dating a guy with a female best friend because don't they always end up together eventually anyway?"
Shawn assured Christine with a smile. "That's very unlikely to happen to us. Hazel's really like my sister."
Hazel froze and the straw bent between her fingers. Do you have to rub it in?
She really just want to leave the two of them alone. The night is officially ruined for her anyway. Nothing that Shawn can do or say will fix it.
"Are you seeing anyone right now, Hazel?" Christine asked.
She just shook her head. "No, I'm not."
"I always think she has very high standards when it comes to guys she would date," Shawn told Christine.
The latter looked deep in thought. "I see."
Hazel poked the ice at the bottom of her glass again, bracing herself from walking out of the restaurant to leave the two of them alone.
Over the years, Shawn has been a fantastic best friend to her. But times like tonight, she wished she had not met him as her best friend. Maybe then, she'd be one of the girls who could wrap their arms around his.
Hazel bit the side of her quivering lower lip.
A WAITER approached them shortly to ask what they would like to get from the menu. The couple, of course, got the same food; halibut—the chef's special that night—because Shawn loves seafood. Hazel rebelled and picked a lamb dish instead.
She decided to stay at least until after dinner. It has been a while since she's had great food because of her busy schedule anyway. She has not been to any fancy restaurants lately, let alone go on a date. Besides Shawn was buying dinner, so she might as well take advantage and let him compensate for her trouble.
"Oh, this is good! You should try this, Hazel," Christine told her when their food was served twenty minutes later.
Hazel forced a smile. Suddenly, the sumptuous lamb chops looked unappetizing. Can that woman not tell that she doesn't want to talk? She probably was not really as quick witted as she thought after all.
"Thank you. I'll keep that in mind when I come here next time," she said.
While Shawn was talking to a waiter he called to ask for another glass of wine for the three of them, she saw Christine's eyes sparkled when her phone lit up.
Hazel's eyebrows raised. Huh? And I thought she only looks like that when she's talking to Shawn?
"I have a little surprise for you, Hazel," Christine leaned slightly towards her and whispered. She was grinning from ear to ear.
Hazel didn't know what to say. She could tell she would not like whatever her surprise would be.
Before she could answer, Christine raised her hand and waved towards the guy who just came inside the restaurant.
Hazel's jaw dropped.
It wasn't at all difficult to stare at the man the moment anyone lay eyes on him. His face was aristocratic and his movement was graceful. He was really tall. Although Shawn still looked taller. And had Shawn not been in the same room, the man would surely be the most handsome fellow who walked inside the restaurant that night. And Hazel should know, because she was mostly staring at the entrance door all night as Shawn and Christine went on with their empty conversation.
So, that's why there were sparkle in Christine's eyes, she deduced. The man looks visually stunning, he could knock any woman off their skirt without even doing so much as stare at them with his smoldering gaze. He looked like a picture-perfect model.
But why would Christine invite another man on her date with Shawn? He's not her other lover, now, is he?
Hazel looked at Shawn. He was asking Christine who the man was. He obviously has no idea.
Oh, no. Is there going to be drama?
"Wesley, I'm so glad you came!" Christine pulled the man into a hug when he finally reached their table.
"Of course! Although, I'm terribly sorry I'm late," he said. "I came running when I saw your message, though."
"You didn't tell me you also invited someone," Shawn said.
Christine waved a hand in the air. "Oh, it was kind of last minute. When you told me earlier that you are going to introduce your best friend, I was not expecting that your best friend is a girl. So, I figured it must be very difficult for Hazel to be alone with us tonight. And since she said she's no dating anyone right now, I invited my cousin, Wesley, who is very single, too."
Wesley chuckled and dropped a smile to the floor.
Oh? Cousin, huh?
Hazel did not know what to feel when her eyes met Wesley's, now that she know he was there as her date. She's starting to think differently of Christine. She didn't know the woman can actually be very thoughtful.
But desperate. Still shamelessly desperate. And very flirtatious.
"So, Wesley, this is Hazel. Hazel, meet my cousin, Wesley."
"Nice to meet you, Hazel." Wesley leaned in to kiss her cheeks. Hazel's eyes widened. It wasn't the casual cheek-to-cheek greeting kiss. She actually felt his soft, warm lips on her skin.
Then, Christine introduced Shawn to Wesley. The two men shook hands. "Good to meet you," Shawn said.
Wesley sat on the empty chair to her left. When a waiter approached their table to hand a menu to Wesley, he glanced at her sideways and smiled. "Are you liking the lamb, Hazel?"
Hazel nodded and smiled. "It's alright."
Wesley smiled back and turned to the waiter. "I'll have the lamb, too, please. Medium rare."
When the waiter left the table, Shawn got up, placing a hand on the table. "Excuse me, guys. I need to go to the men's room."
Not a minute later, Hazel's phone vibrated when a call came in. A crease formed on her forehead when she saw that it was Shawn was calling.
She excused herself from the table, too, and went to the restroom. She found Shawn by the door of the men's room holding his phone to his ear. He put his phone back in his pockets when he saw her.
"What's wrong, Shawn?" She asked, worried. "Is everything okay?"
Shawn shrugged. "I just want to make sure you're fine. I didn't know anything about Christine asking her cousin to come tonight. So, if you don't like it, you can leave. I can make something up."
Hazel was touched by the gesture. She smiled and shrugged. "Well, I have been sitting through your date's public display of affection for hours."
Shawn laughed as if he was embarrassed, too. "Yeah, sorry about that. Christine can be a little clingy," he replied.
"Wesley is definitely a change of atmosphere. I don't mind staying."
"Are you sure? I want to know you're really okay with this. I know you are not comfortable being forced on dates."
Hazel sighed. How can she not fall in love with him when he's the only that cares about her like that. "I'm fine, Shawn. I'm more uncomfortable being a third wheel tonight, to be honest."
He touched her arm. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I just thought it was a great idea to introduce you to Christine."
"Don't worry about it. It's fine."
Shawn shrugged. "So, I guess, Wesley's not that bad, then, huh?"
Hazel just smiled. He's not that bad, she thought. But it would have been perfect if it was you.
