"Ugh stupid alarm !!" Pearl running for work because she is late . "It is my second week working here and I'm already late !" Pearl says again . Her hair is already messed up. Once she arrived she look around the cafe . "Phew , thank god there's no customer yet ." She walk to the back and put on her working shirt . She look at the mirror and fixes her hair and put on her glasses . She walk out and start to cleaning the table and wiping the window .

"Morning..." Max yawn and walk into the cafe . Pearl look at him . "Oh morning ." She gaves him a warm smile . "Max , you're late again today !!" Jasper yelled and him and Pearl jumped a bit bcause she was shocked . Jasper saw it and say sorry . "I'm sorry . Yesterday I need to do all of those assignment by my own . My team didn't show up ! Those bastard ! I will kill them if they dare to appear infront of me !" Max say . Jasper laugh and patted his forehead and kiss his lips gently . "Poor my baby . Next time tell me and I will help you out . Okay ." Pearl just look at them and stop them from being lovey dovey . "Hey , hey There's people walking back and forth . Its not good for the store reputation ." She say .

"Huh ? Really?" Jasper say and tilt his head to the door then point his finger . "Then , what's that " Pearl turned her head and saw a bunch of girl outside giggling looking at Max and Jasper , some of them look mad at me because trying to stop Max and Jasper from being sweet . I smile awkwardly .

"Well the store need to run now or else we will go to bankruptcy " Jasper say and Pearl immediately open the door and welcome the customer . She start to take orders and placing the order . Cleaning the table once customer left the store . "Day by day the number of customer is increasing like crazy , which is good ." Pearl says .

I was in charge as the waiter , Jasper as the baker so most of the time he will came out once he's done baking and lastly Max is in charge as barista . Max is also a student of Ginevra University .

I'm also waiting for a letter to any University to pursue my dream as a writer and wrote my own book . I cannot say that I was a great student back then but I did do great . I really hope that I got accepted to any University that I applied to .

Oh and the counter , we take turns if , there's one person who is free will take charge to that position . It can be hard sometimes because Max need to mke drinks , Jasper was inside baking and I need to take orders . So mostly it will be me or Max at the counter .

Working here for a week is tiring but that how it works . I also saw couple dating , friend group studying or hanging out . Once I overheard a conversation about cheating and also a couple was having a fight and breakup in the scene . Of course I know she was mad but there's no need to break things . Its kinda annoying but we couldn't do anything . All that we can do is to separate the couple prevent things to become worser.

Good thing is sometimes there will be a handsome and attractive guy came here . I can't help it but stare and sometimes I wonder if they're dating anyone . I will be nice if suddenly my soulmate came out of nowhere and date me . But unfortunately this is me , I can't even talk to a guy and I'm very dry person . I've tried dating online and I did get match but I lose interest so fast . There also alot of pervert want me to send my 'PICTURE' which is disgusting . After all , I'm still young for love . Maybe love is not for me .

Not to mention , Max and Jasper is dating . It can be sweet sometimes while watching them but it also will hurt your eyes and soul . I wonder what love feels like . I used to date but he cheat behind my back . It sucks but what can I do probably I wasn't good enough .

"Pearl , can you work overtime today ?" Max ask me . "What ? you never mention Overtime when I was on interview " Pearl says . "Well I guess Jasper just made a new working hours . You will get paid afterall ." He say and smirk . "Okay I will work overtime today ." Jasper walk out and sit down . "There will not be that much customer in the afternoon ." As soon as Jasper say those words a customer came in . Max give him a death stare . "Hehehe , I'm done baking . I will help you here" He smile and tell Pearl to go and takes order .

I rush to the table with a smile . "Good afternoon , what can I get from the both of you ?" Both of them look at me and one of them tell me what she wanted and the other one stare at me with blank stare . I giggle awkwardly. "Ehem miss ?" I say . "What do you recommend here ?"

Woah what a sudden question . I smile and tell her what I will recommend , which is the most expensive on our store . Thats how it works here . She keeps on staring at me when I explain . "What do you like ?" She ask . I look at her with confusion. "I mean the menu , which one do you loves ? I'll take what you like then ."She say and sit back and cross her legs . "Umm okay.., Is there anything else ?" Her friend shake her head with smile on her face "Sorry about that " She say .

I place the order and wipe the other table to keep it clean . And then that weird customer called for me . I went to the table and say "Is there any problem ?" She look at me and ask with her blank stare again . "How do you know that I am a Miss ?" I look at her up and down . "Because ...." I look at her and her friend .

"Oh sorry , I didn't know that you are on a date . Would you like me to address you as Mr then ?" I smile " I'm so sorry if that makes you uncomfortable ." I bow . She held my hand and say "We're not dating and I don't want to be called Mr." She say . Oh shit I messed up bad this time . Umm what should I do now . "ohh...Sorry .." I says . "Its because your long hair , fair skin , tall .... , pretty face , and you have ******" I answer her questions with honesty .

She let go of my hands . "Am I attractive ?" She ask again . "Yes , you are ." I say and smile . "Well then , would you date me then ?" She ask . My eyes went wide and laugh it off. "Umm hahaha , sorry but you're not quite my type ." Then Jasper called me for the drinks and food . I ran to the counter top and grab the order and serve them . "Enjoy your meal." I say with a smile. "Wait." She say . I turned around and say "Yes is there any problem ?" .

"What's your type then ?" She say . I look at her and her friend . "Umm , I don't think I need to answer that question ." I anser her and out of nowhere this person stand up and say "I'm Qian Ting . Just call me Ting ." She look at me straight to my soul . "Haa...hahaha ." I laugh . "How about you ?" She ask me again . "Oh I'm Pearl . Nice to know you" .

I thougt she will sit down and eat . But then she said out loud ."Date me , I want to be your type ." She say that with straight faces and I couldn't help it and laugh out loud . "I'm sorry HAHAHA . I didn't mean to be rude but this is funny ." I say . Her friend look at me and start to laugh .

"I don't know if you're serious about this but this is not how you ask someone to go on a date with you ." I bow and tell them to enjoy the food . I calmly walk back to the back and my stomach drop . WTF IS UP WITH THAT PERSON . Probably they're doing a funny video for youtube content or something . Its kinda funny but scary at the same time . Whatever she' a customer and she will pay the food and I will get my pay check that's only matter .

"pfftt HAHAAHAHA , YOU WERE FUNNY" Della say . "What's funny ?" Ting say . "In the cafe you stand up and say "I WANT TO BE YOUR TYPE" HHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I didn't know that you are that funny". She imitiate Ting back in the cafe . "Stop laughing , its not funny at all." Ting say . "Its funny because you look so stupid and you won't find it funny because you have no sense of humour ." Della say .

"Did you just call me stupid and have no sense of humour?" She look at Della with death written in her eyes . Della faces turns serious . "I'm sorry . I was just joking ." She say . "Well its not funny ." Ting say . "See you sure have no sense of humour ." Della mumble .

"Do I look weird though?" Ting stop walking and kneeled on the ground and covering her face . "It can't be that bad... right ?" She say . "I just want to look cool !! NOT weird!!"

..."I barely know you but you still give me chance to let in ."...

"Achooo!" Pearl sneeze . I cannot get uo , my head was so heavy and dizzy . Without realizing she fall asleep and didn't go to work. After a couple of moment her phone start to ring . Someone's calling her . "Ughh , where is my phone ." She answer the phone call .

Jasper ; Hello , is this Pearl ?

Pearl ; Yes this is me , who is this ?

Jasper ; Its Jasper , Where were you ? Its 11 already .

Pearl ; Ohh , I don't think i can go today . I catch a fever .

Jasper ; Oh really . Then take care okay . We will pay you a visit this afternoon .

Jasper ; No no , who's going to cook for you . I will go there with Max .

Jasper hang up and Pearl lay back down . Should I tell mom about this . No need , its just a small matter , if I tell her she will be worried sick and will start nagging because I didn't take care of myself . I mean who wouldn't , its their child . Recently Jasper hire two new worker . Antonio and Alice . Alice is a waitress and Antonio is barista . Jasper start to taking ther order from people that make cakes to help them and to reduce his burden from making cakes . He also added afew more new drinks to the menu , all thanks to Max because he always willing to try new recipe .

About that weird customer that is from weeks ago doesn't appear anymore . Probably I was right about the 'funny videos' . But she was attractive , probably anyone will fall for her because of her charisma , elegant , a body of model , long silky hair and the perfume of her can make people hallucinating about her . Hahaha but she's weird . "Date me , I want to become your type." Pearl imitiate Ting . Soon she fall asleep .

'RINGGGGGGG!!' Her phone start to rang again . She pick it up and answer the phone call .

Pearl hangs up and stand up . She walk to the kitchen and fill a glass of water . Then her phone start to ring again . She look at it and it was the same number . She ignored the call and make some hot drink for her to keep her warm . Her phone keep on ringing , She pick it up without checking .

Max ; Umm , We're on our way to your place .

Max ; You sound so mad when you pick up your phone .

"What does this mean ?" Ting ask Della and hand over the phone . "Oh this mean ...." Della didn't finish he sentence and look at Ting . "What ?" Ting ask . "This means that the person that texting you already block you ." Della answer . "What do you mean ?! I didn't do anything illegal why did i get blocked !!!" Ting yelled . "I will report this to my father and sue this app ." Della look at her and say "Stop being a brat . You're 24 already .''

Ting sit down and sigh . ''She's cute and she also say that I'm attractive but why did she block me ? '' She lay back and sigh more . Its rainy today . Pearl sit at one of the chair . Max come with coffee in his hand . "Free Coffee !!" Then he giggle .Pearl look at him with excitement "Huhu free coffee" she say . Max sit next to her and start a conversation with Pearl .

"Is there any new about the Uni that you've applied ?" He ask Pearl . Pearl look at him and shake her head slowly and frown . "Umm maybe there's no more intake to that University ...." Max say and sip his coffee . "Probably. But I will not give up . I must pursue my dream to be a journalist !! I want to write for the world !!" Pearl say with ambitious written in her eyes . Max laugh while looking at her .

Jasper come out with some cake that he made . "Ouch it hurts my feeling . Because you guys didn't call me to hang out here" He say dramatically . Max look at him and smile . Pearl just laugh it off and Jasper sit next to Max . They eat those cake and sipping the hot coffee while chit chat since there is no customer .

After a while there's a customer came in . Three people . Pearl immediately stand up and welcome the customer . As soon as she saw the customer , her smile disappear . It was Ting and her friends . "Its rainy outside , so cold" Della say while held into her another friend probably its her boyfriend . "Well since its rainy you guys should drink something hot to warm you guys up" Max say with a smile . Jasper saw it was Ting immediately stand up and lead her to a table . Pearl take her notepad and ask for what they want . Ting doesn't stare at her like the first time . This time she act normally which is okay for Pearl .

She go and put the order and Max start to make the drinks . Pearl go and pick up the cake that they wanted . When she put up her head , Jasper is sitting with them and seems like he is talking . Pearl bring the order to the table and serve it . This time with a smile . Then Jasper grab her hand and say "Sit down , since there's no customer" Pearl look at him and follow what he says and sit .

"Is this man trying to sell me ?" "What if they're trying to do something bad?" "I'm still young and I have dream ... There's no way Jasper will sell me right !! " "But what if.." Pearl say to herself while put on a fake smile on her face and look at Jasper .

If they started to laugh she will also laugh . Then Max come with the drinks and sit next to Pearl . "Why they seems so friendly" she say to herself again and laugh awkwardly . Then a bunch of highschool student came into the cafe . There's 8 of them and it still school time . 5 boys and 2 girls

"Fu@K why it must rain today ! Now I'm all wet ." One of them say . The rest of them was also wet and they sit at one table and pull some chair to sit together . Pearl stand up and go to the table to take their order like she usually does .

"Good Afternoon , what can I get for you guys today ?" I ask politely . "Umm what does this gay cafe have ?" One of the boy say and they started to laugh . I just keep on smiling and stand there waiting for their order . And after discussing about what they're going to order , I told them to wait for a sec . And then there's another customer it was a old man . I walk towards the old man and help him to the table . He smile and sit down at the table . Like usual I took the order and place it .

Max went to the coffee maker to help Antonio make coffee . Once the drinks done I went to serve it to the table . "Who make this coffee?" One of the boys ask me . "Oh it was our barista ." I answer . "Oh I don't want to drink it if it was the gay one make it ." He push the drinks slightly . "Jayden~~ , that's mean ~~" and then gives me a dirty look while smiling . I stood there smiling and tell them to enjoy their food . But then one of them grab my hand "Ayee , you're cute . Come sit on my lap . I will be nice ." I look at his hand and push his hand away . "I'm sorry , I'm not interested ." I say and went to bring the old man drinks .

"Thank you ." He say . I smile and then walk towards Ting table . I sat down .

"Ugh this drink is nasty . Probably its because of the gay one makes it ." One of the boy says and the whole group start laughing . Max sit still and laugh awkwardly. Jasper tap on Max shoulder and look at me and make a sign to ignore them .

"I'm sorry , this is gay cafe ?" The old man ask the group . "Oh you don't know about that . YES ! YES ! THIS IS GAY CAFE !" They answer the question and laugh loudly . "Oh my . I'm leaving then" The old man say and he stand up . He was about to leave without paying .

I stand up and run towards him "Sir , you still have to pay for the drinks and cake that you-" I couldn't finish my words he push me away . "First of , I'm not paying for this drinks that's made by a gay person . Second of all , I didn't know this is a gay cafe . I shouldn't step into this place from the first place ." He say . I hold his arm and say "No sir , you still need to pay for the food . Once you pay you can leave ." He look at me and say "Come on , I made a mistake . I'm an old man , just let me go ." He say . I grab his arm by one hand and say "No sir you still need to pay ." He look around and then suddenly fall .

"Oh my , is this how you treat the elders?! I was about to give you the money . And yet you push me !" He say outloud . Jasper heard it and try to help that old man to stand up . "You should repect the elder ." Jasper say it to me . The old man saw Jasper hands and push his hand away . "Don't touch me with your filthy hand !! Disgusting!" He yelled and get back up by himself . Jasper was taken back and apologize . The old man look at me and wanted to leave .

"Oi , where are you going ?" I say in a rude tone . He stopped and look at me "What did you call me just now ? Oi ?" He say and I look at him "Yes, I did call you Oi. Is there anything wrong about that ?" I say proudly and Jasper stand next to me is telling me to apologize for pushing him and just let him be . "Pay for the food just now ." I say and ignore everything that Jasper says . "Is that how you talk to the-" He didn't finish his sentence because I cut him

"Blah , blah , blah . Yes , yes that's how I talk to people . Now, you get the answer you wanted . Pay !" I say . He was taken back and look to the surrounding . "How dare you ! You pushed me to the ground and now you forcing me to pay !!." He's tying to play the victim again . Of course everyone is watching him , he is gaining the attention around him .

"SIR !" I yelled . He was shocked and look at me . "Sir, look at me ." I say . "Do I look like I give a sh1t about that ? What do you want me to do ? Cry about it ? " I say . He look at me with shock ."Listen here old man , pay or I'll use force ." I say . "Force ?! Oh my ! Are you threatening me ?" He say point his finger to my face . "Yes ." I answer and hold his finger and tur it real hard "The thing I hate the most is people point heir finger at my face ." The old man scream because of pain . "YOU-" . I let go of his hand and say . "PAY !" He look at me and grab his wallet and pay for his drinks . Then walk away .

The cafe was in silence . Jasper is still standing next to me . I touch him and he didn't move . "Oi , you're okay ?" I ask . He look at me and nod aggressively . He walk back to the table . I went to the counter and put the money to where it is . Then walk back to the table .

"Nasty service ..." One of the boy says . "Tsk tsk tsk " One of them agree with what their friend say. "But bro she's pretty hot tho" One of them say . I'll just pretend that I didn't hear that .

"Umm I'm sorry to violate you privacy ..." Ting sudden words . "I know I should ask your permision first for your number not just gtting it just like that ." Ting keep talking . "It because I have the easy access to have your number ." Then she stopped . I can feel everyone on the table is looking at me . "Oh , okay . I forgive you ." I throw her a smile . She look at me and smile . "So will you go on a date with me ?" She say . Suddenly , my mind ent blank . "Err date ?" I say to myself .

Ting face change and she stand up walk towards the group .

I turned my head around and Ting was clinching her fist . "This is disgusting . All of these people is sick .For being gay ." One of the boy say .

I stand up and push Ting and Della slowly . "So ? What should we do ? If we're lesbian" I ask them with a smile . "Come to me I will make you straight again ." The boy say . "pfftt HAHAAHAHAHAAHAH with those tiny 'birds' to satisfy me ?" I laugh and say . Della gasp .

"What did you just say ?!" He ask me . "Oh you should clean your ear because I clearly say it sound and clear ." I smirk.

I grab his collar ."You guys should be in school , studying , learning and not being a useless human being ." I say . "At least we're straight and not like you~~" The girl say .

"Aww baby girl ~~ at least I'm have education and a job and not fck with people . Or not wasting my time for this type of people~~" I imitiate the way she talk and roll my eyes . "Poor your mother for giving birth to some useless garbage like yall" I sigh and fix my glasses "Another waste of Ovum and Sperm . Tsk tsk tsk" I say with a smirk .
