"Stephen! Kane! Felix! Get up! Otherwise you will be late for your school's function" yelled their mother from downstairs.

"Yes muma we are up" replied Felix.

Felix got up from his bed and looked at the mirror where he saw a boy of seventeen with a tied back hair and a smile with dimples.

He opened the door of his room and opened the door which is on the other side of the corridor. It was Kane's room.

"Kane get up!" Felix called Kane.

Kane got up fast and screamed "Why did you do that?"

"Because I know that if I will I switch off the air conditioner you will get up fast" he replied.

"Felix I am telling you to switch it on" commanded Kane.

"No way I am gonna do that" he said.

A voice from downstairs came "Felix! Kane! are you both in a fight again".

"No muma" they replied together.

"Okay! Then get ready fast" commanded their mother.

"Yep. Muma!!" they replied.

"Maria go up and get them ready. Their suits are there in my cupboard" she told her maid.

Maria took their suits and went upstairs.

"Who is Kane?" asked Maria.

Both of them raised their hands and said "It's me".

"You both are simply taking the advantage of being twins to trouble others" said Maria " tell me fast who is the real Kane or else I will call your mom up here" she threatened.

"Aunt please calm down I am the real one" said Kane.

"Ok then here is your suit" said Maria as she was handing over the suit to Kane.

"And Felix this is yours" she added by handing an another suit.

"Thanks aunt" said Kane.

"But aunt don't tell muma what we did" added Felix before she could tell welcome to Kane.

"Let me think about it" said Maria.

"Aunt please! please!" cried Felix.

"Okay! Okay! I will not tell Mam. But get ready fast" said Maria.

"You are the greatest aunt in the whole world" said Felix.

"Now stop flattening me and get ready" she said and closed the door behind her.

Maria opened the door again and asked "where is Stephen? Is he still not up?".

"Oh no! I forgot about him. He is still not up" cried Kane.

"Okay, you guys get ready, I will wake him up" said Maria and once again closed the door behind her.

"Stephen get up" Maria called him as she opened the door of his bedroom.

Stephen gave no response, so Maria understood that he didn't wake up. So Maria took off the blanket from his face. But she didn't find his face, instead she saw his legs.

"Huff!! How many times I have told you not sleep like this" she screamed at her maximum so that he will get up "head should be on the top side and legs on the bottom, not reverse". But Stephen gave no response. Now she shoke his leg and said "will you get up or you want me to call your muma upstairs".

Within a second he was up and asked "So what's up aunt? Everything fine?"

"I am fine" she replied "but when I will tell you something you would not be fine".

"Hmm.. am I forgetting something that I should not" he asked.

"Ofcourse yes" she replied "today is -"

Before she could reply he saw his suit and remembered what he was forgetting. He bit his tongue and said "the farewell in school".

"Yep!" Maria replied "so get up and get ready fast. Kane and Felix are almost ready".

"Ok! I will be ready in ten minutes" he said while he got up and opened the door which led to the bathroom.

"No need to worry" she said "the function is at ten o'clock and now it is eight o'clock".

"Ohh. Then why did you call me?" he asked.

"Because today is a great day and you should not be late" she replied "Ok now get ready fast and take this" she said keeping the suit in his cupboard.

Stephen looked in the mirror of the bathroom where he saw a boy with blue coloured shabby hair with a pair of blue eye.

Stephen got ready fast and went to his brother Kane's room, wearing a white shirt with blue tie and pants, holding his blue coloured suit on his hand.

(Kane, Felix and Stephen were of the same age)

"Kane! You are looking great" Stephen said.

Kane was wearing a white shirt with black tie and pants and black coloured suit.

"You too. My brother." Kane replied.

Felix opened the door.

"Ohh my god! You both are looking damn hot and sexy" said Felix.

"As if you are not" said Stephen.

"I am damn sure that you will get ten more proposals today" said Kane.

"Shall we go downstairs" asked Maria who had just appeared from the open door.

"Yeah" replied Stephen.

The three of them went downstairs with Maria.

"Three of you please go to dining room and stay seated" said Maria. "I will call your muma she is busy in a meeting right now"

"Hmm.Ok" said Kane and Felix.

They went to the dinning room, where there was a large oval shaped table with twelve seats, five each on the longer edges and one each on the curves.

Kane and Felix sat on the longer edge facing opposite to eachother. Stephen took a seat, leaving one seat on the left of Kane.

A man of his late forties with a growing bald on his head which covered by the hairs on the sides of his head with a pair of mysterious black eyes, opened the door to the dinning room.

"Good morning dad" said all of them together.

"Good morning! Good morning! My children" he replied.

"Dad your blue suit is suiting you well" commented Felix.

"It's not blue, it is navy blue" corrected their dad.

"Okay what ever it is" said Felix.

"I look great in everything. It is a born talent you know" said their dad with a laugh.

All of them burst aloud.😂

"Monica aren't you ready still" asked their dad.

"Yes, I am done" their mother replied.

"Then come on" he said.

"Daniel just a minute" she replied.

Very soon the door burst open and their mother had come, she was in her early forties with brown hair and black coloured eyes.

"Daniel how am I looking" asked their mother, who was wearing a long gown of red colour.

"Monica you are looking great" said their dad.

"Maria bring the breakfast" she commanded "how's the hair" she asked Daniel.

"Yes mam" Maria replied.

"It's great" replied Daniel.

Maria and an another servent came in with the breakfast.

"Daniel you don't know anything other than business and making money, Maria you tell me how is it?" she said pointing on her hair.

"What's wrong now?" he asked Monica "two is enough" he said to the other servent who was serving.

"Mam" Maria replied "it would be great if you would leave your hair free".

"Hmm. I also think the same" Monica said and sat down on an empty chair near her.

They all had their breakfast and went to the living room.

"Which car do you want to take today sir?" asked the driver.

"Ask them, afterall today is their day" said Daniel.

"Which car young masters?" asked the driver.

"Uncle how many times we have told you not to call us as master. You can simply call us by names" Kane said to the driver.

"Ohh. Sorry Ma.....Kane" said the driver.

"Now that's good" said Kane "shall we take the Volvo" Kane asked to Felix and Stephen.

"Anything is fine" replied Stephen.

"Same here" said Felix.

"Okay then let's take Volvo. Is it fine ma....Felix" asked the driver.

"Yep" Felix replied.

"Okay then you guys carry on. We will come behind you." said Monica.

"Okay muma" said Stephen.

They bid farewell and left home.

After the farewell in the school, they had come back home.Daniel and Monica were sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"I think, now the time has come to tell everything to him, Monica" said Daniel.

"No, I don't think so" she replied "we cannot tell how will he react".

"It is his right to know".

"I know that".

"Then what's the problem? "

"I have told you right, that we can't predict his reaction".

Daniel's P.A opens the door.

"Sir there is a urgent call for you" said his P. A.

"Not now, Peter" Daniel replied.

"Sir it is Marcos's manager. He says it's urgent" Peter told him.

"Ok give it to me" Daniel asked for the phone.

Daniel talked on phone for almost fifteen to twenty minutes.

"Monica I am really very sorry." Daniel apologized. "It was an urgent call. You know Marcos right. Wasn't he yours client once."

(Daniel and Monica were very big business persons).

"It's fine" she replied.

"Then, did you think about Stephen" he asked.

"Yes I have, there is no change in my opinion" she replied.

"He has grown up. He is seventeen now and I guess soon some personal counselor from Sphinx will come to talk to him" said Daniel.

Door opens.......

They got shocked and were feared whether the person has heard something.

The door opens.

It was Stephen.

He was looking from his dad to his mom for while, as they looked shocked at his sight.

To break the silence Daniel spoke up, "What happened son? Is there some issue?"

"No nothing dad" Stephen replied "I just came to tell that we all are going to Nemo's house".

"Ok. But how are you going?" said Monica.

"Bike" he replied.

"Be safe.Okay?" asked Daniel.

"Hmm" Stephen nodded his head.

"Papa. Muma. Are you both alright? You both look a bit worried" asked Stephen.

"No there is nothing" Monica answered in a hurry, which made Stephen more suspicious "Is there anything Daniel? Nothing right? Nothing. Stephen you can go to her house but come back soon. Ok then bye"

"Bye muma. Bye papa" said Stephen in a bit unsatisfied way.

In the garage.

"Stephen what did they say" asked Kane.

Stephen was not at all listening what Kane said. He was still thinking about the awkward behaviour of his parents.

"Stephen?" Felix called Stephen with giving a shake on his shoulder.

"Yeah" he replied but he didn't know what was the topic on which they were discussing. So since they were in garage, he thought they were talking about how they were going. "It would be good if we go in bikes" he said.

"Stephen I think that we had decided that earlier. We are asking whether they let us go?" asked Felix.

"Yeah. Yeah. We can go" said Stephen in a hurry.

"Is there something wrong buddy" asked Felix.

"No nothing" lied Stephen. "Okay let's go".

They went.

In the living room.

"Did he listen?" asked Monica.

"Don't know" replied Daniel.

"I wonder how long he have been standing there".

"I don't think that he might have heard us because if he had, he would have questioned. Monica you know right how he is".

"That's a point too".

"I think there is nothing wrong if he heard us. After all he have to know everything one day. No matter the day is today or tomorrow."

"Daniel. You are not trying to understand me."

"Other than me who else can know you better, dear".

"Then why are you not talking on my side".

"Because I think you are wrong. I know that you see him just like your own son and I can understand the feelings of a mother."

The door opened.

This time it was Daniel's manager.

"Now what" asked Daniel.

"Sir, it's again.. " before he could complete.

"Okay. Okay. I am coming,. you go ahead" said Daniel.

His manager left the room.

"At what time is your flight" asked Daniel.

"At five" she replied.

"So you have plenty of time left" he said.

"Yeah." she said.

"Okay then see you later. I will come home, we can go together" he said.

"Yep. It would be great" she replied.

Daniel got up and was about to leave the room when she called him.

"Daniel.." she called. Daniel turned over.

"Okay I agree with you" she said. "But please promise me that you will only tell him when we both are together" she demanded.

"Yes dear I promise you" he said delightfully and hugged her.

"Okay then Daniel you carry on. I also have to do the packing" she said.

"Okay see you later" he kissed on her cheek and left the room.

In Ye Nemo's house.

Ye Nemo was one of their best friends, they had known eachother since the first day of the school. She was a girl with long silver coloured hair with a pair of beautiful pair of blue eyes. She was also from financially well known family.

"Why didn't you come yesterday on the farewell?" asked Kane.

"Dad had gone to London right, and yesterday I and mom had planned that we would go but suddenly she also got an emergency work" said Nemo.

"Then you should have called us, we could have taken you with us" said Felix.

"That's so nice of you Felix. But I thought in party everyone would come with their parents and me coming without my parents would look a bit awkward" she replied "Anyway wasn't it fun".

"Ofcourse yes" replied Kane.

"What happened Stephen why are you silent?" Nemo asked.

"He may be angry with you" said Kane "Just kidding".

"No there is nothing wrong" replied Stephen.

Tring 📞📞 Tring. (Stephen's phone rings).

Stephen takes out his phone from his pocket.

"It's dad" he said.

"What happened? Why is he calling? It's only been fifteen minutes since we came" asked Felix.

"We can only tell that by picking up the call" said Kane 😂.

Stephen took the call and left the room.

"Why did he leave the room? Generally he talks here only." asked Kane.

"Don't know may be he have left simply" said Felix.

"I think he is hiding something from us" said Kane.

"And may I please know why do you think that?" asked Nemo.

"See, you have been knowing us since a very long time and have you ever seen him this silent" said Kane.

"That's a point" said Felix.

"I agree" added Nemo.

"And Felix do you remember when we asked him, what did mom and dad say when he went to ask permission to come here. He didn't reply when we asked first time.... " said Kane but he was interrupted by Felix.

"...And then was talking some random stuff. I am sure that he was thinking about something very seriously" finished Felix.

"Exactly" said Kane.

"I don't think he is being secretive because he has never hidden anything from three of us" added Nemo.

"I support Kane" said Felix.

"And I want to know about it" said Kane.

At the other side of the door.

Stephen picked up the phone.

"Hello papa" said Stephen.

"Hmm. Yaa. Hello Stephen. Isn't everything fine there" Daniel asked.

"Yes papa".

"Okay I just called you to tell that your muma is going to London today at five. And I will be coming directly to the airport to see her off and I want all of you to go with your muma".

"What??? Muma is going at five and your telling us about it now... ".

"Calm down Stephen. She decided it now, just after you all left".

"Then aren't you coming home?"

"No, I think I told you that earlier itself".

"And, the flight is at five or we should be leaving by five?"

"The flight is at five and you should be leaving by 3:30pm."

"Ok".

"Tell this to them also".

"Ok".

"Then fine, see you later".

"Hmm. Ok...... papa wait".

"Yes, tell me".

"Can I ask you something".

Daniel gets shocked and nervous.
