He was rumoured as a man against thousands, every kingdom know him as a ruthless creatures who killed thousands soldiers with bare hands.

She was rumoured as the most beautiful, delicate woman in the world. She was a princess of a small Kingdom Georgia under Alice Kingdom.

He ruled over Alice, he made his enemies vanish in thin air, he made his alliance with war or power of fear.

She ruled over her father's heart, she was his beloved wife's only daughter, who resembled her so much. She was the heart of the Kingdom, her kindness overflowed everyone's heart.

Everyone feared to be around him, his aura was so deadly that the person would want to die rather than being in his presence.

Her presence was enough to make a smile curved on the faces of the people she passed by, but she was too gentle to even speak for her right.

The marriage was simple, the only people present their was Bride's family and Groom's brother.

As the ceremony begin, bride entered the Altar with her father wearing a beautiful white gown, with a veil covering her face.

She walked towards the groom who was standing next to the priest, wearing white suit, a blue cape with the symbol of Alice Kingdom on his shoulder.

He saw her walking to him, beautiful violet-blue eyes, a small sharp nose, rosy plump lips, long slender neck, and her off shoulder dress almost making him difficult to breathe.

As she got near him, he extended his arms to hold her small soft hands in his sturdy hand.

The priest said "Do you Ariel Edward Madden, take Arthur Ryan Kartazen as your lawfully wedded husband?"l

Ariel said "I do"

The priest said "Do you Arthur Ryan Kartazen take Ariel Edward Madden as your lawfully wedded wife?"

Arthur said "I do"

The priest announced "I pronounce you as husband and wife,..... you may kiss the bride"

Arthur walked a step close to her, he gently place his lips over hers.

He felt her shivering by his kiss. Something inside him sparked as he felt the sensation of her lips.

After the wedding was over, the newly wedded couple left immediately for the journey to the main palace.

Ariel was silently sitting inside the palanquin, but her tears never left her eyes. It was hard for her to left her father and her brother who cherished her so much.

She whispered "I already miss them"

'*I don't know anything about my husband..... I haven't even seen his face clearly......

*do I really need to do those things..... that my maids taught me.....

She grabbed the curtains, to pull them a little as she was trying to get a glimpse of her husband who was riding the horse.

But watching her silly action, made his lips curved up a little, that it was not even visible.

He touched his lips, as he recalled the kiss.

She quickly closed the curtains, her cheeks started to burn, as her heart started raising. She clenched her fist near her chest.

The journey will be taking 2-3 days as they couldn't ride faster and have to take shelter at night.

She felt the carriage stopped, and the door opened, she saw her husband getting in as he sat infront of her.

She was so nervous to look at him, she kept her head down looking at her hands which were interlocked, her thumbs were rubbing her skin of her hands.

She could feel his gaze on her, as a predator watching his prey.

She heard him, "the journey is quite long...... as we can't ride any faster, so you have to bear the out stay, understood "

No matter what, his voice seemed to be cold and rude as if don't want to speak even a word

Ariel just nodded.

The sun was about to set, Ariel woke up as the carriage stopped infront of a guest house.

Arthur opened the door and said "We will be staying here for night..... get down"

No matter, what she felt his words cold and rude, as if he didn't even want to speak a word out of his mouth.

She got down of the carriage, she could feel the people gazing at her, she was still wearing her wedding gown.

Arthur just grabbed her hand and started walking inside the guest house.

They booked the rooms according to the no. people.

Ariel was guided to her room, she didn't knew that her husband will be staying with her in the same room.

Her maid helped her to change her dress, into a comfortable one after she was done with her hairs, she started to prepare the bed.

Afterwards she heard a knock on the door, and the door opened.

She saw......

As the door opened, Ariel saw Arthur coming in with a tray of food.

The maids left the room after greeting him. He kept the tray on the bed as he said "your dinner..... there isn't much to eat, but it's enough to fill your stomach"

Ariel said "it's fine with me..... um you.... your majesty..... where is your plate"

Arthur said "I already had my dinner"

She felt a bit sad because, she have to eat by herself again. At her palace, King Edward was busy everytime, they only ate occassionally together, she always had her dinner in her room all by herself.

But now, she was married she hoped to have the dinner with him.

She ate her dinner silently, while Arthur was busy in cleaning his sword and armour.

The room was filled with the sound of cloth brushing against metals.

After having her dinner she took all the dishes and was about to walk out of the room.

His cold voice ranged in her ears "where are you going?"

Ariel replied as she was nervous to say anything "The dishes..... I need to keep them out"

Arthur said "you don't need to"

He snapped his fingers, and the next there was a knock on the door. He walked towards her talking the empty dishes, he handed over it to the maid outside the room.

Arthur warned her "You are my wife, and Queen of Alice Kingdom, you don't need to do these things...... just ask the maids......

Ariel just nodded like a child.

He said "it's late now, go to sleep..... we need to leave early morning"

Ariel stood there not knowing what to do, he just asked her to sleep in the same room as his.

Arthur saw her standing there, he knew what she was thinking.

He walked to her, grabbed her hand and made her sit on the bed.

He said "Don't need to overthink, just sleep...... it's common for husband and wife to sleep in a room"

Ariel didn't thought much, and asked "But I was told to do that thing on our wedding night"

Arthur said as he was confused "that thing?"

But when he saw her red face, he knew what she was told to.

He simply said "We can't..... not now atleast"

Ariel just stared at him blankly, she looked like a child who was confused with what to do in this situation.

Arthur didn't bother to clear her confusion and laid beside on the other side of the bed.

Ariel remembered her maid's word

Ariel felt lonely, she didn't knew what to do she just laid down. She was only 3 years old, when her mother left the world, her stepmother was never kind to her.

Her father and brothers were the only people who loved her more than anything, but they were busy in protecting the Kingdom and other works.

Although there was a maid who took care of her, but she was expelled by her stepmother when she was only 10.

Unknowingly, her eyes filled with tears, she tried hard to not make any sound.

In the end he heard her sniff, and opened his eyes, he saw her tears flowing down through her cheeks, and her hands covering her mouth.

He grabbed her hand, which startled her.

He asked her "What happened? Why are you crying?"

She sniffed, and tried to wipe her tears.

She said "I ..... I ... miss . ....m...my..... dad"

Arthur's hand moved to wipe her tears, he himself was surprised by his act.

But he couldn't stop admiring her beautiful face, her eyes shinning through tears, her red nose and cheeks, and her lips slightly opened.

He wanted to comfort her, but didn't know how to. He never cared for anyone since his mother left him, he lost his father in a war.

He was crowned as the King when he was 15, he never had anytime to think about love, family or any affection for anyone. Only thing that was in his mind was his kingdom, and everything that made him powerful.

He lost all the emotions behind with the wars he won. He killed so many people that others life didn't mattered to him.

Now he wanted to stop her from crying, he wanted to ease her pain, that caused her to cry so much.

Ariel felt some warmth of his fingers, she felt her heart beat raising to her ears.

He said "Don't cry or I will finish them who made you cry"

Her eyes widened on what he said, she shook her head loudly. and said shuttering "n.... no..... no....... I don't....w....wa....want....... th..... them ..... t..... to ..... d .....die........ple..... please..... don't..

She sniffed in the end.

Arthur nodded and said "now sleep" he turned around closing his eyes.

Around midnight, Arthur opened his eyes as he felt something small, soft and warm touching his waist, as he turned around to saw her, her sleeping face was looking like a baby.

Ariel got closer to him, as she felt comfortable in his sent, she snuggled in his chest, her hands wrapped tighter around his torso.

Till now, if there was someone else who have tried to get close to him, would be breathing her last breath, but he was turned into a statue.

As much his mind wanted to get her away from him, his heart was winning over his body.

As she was this close to him, he could smell her sent, her soft body against his, he could feel her heart beats.

He kept his eyes open, waiting for her to change her position, but after for an hour his eyelids got closed and he slept.

All these years, he didn't have a good a sleep as he was light sleeper, as a soldier and a king he couldn't trust anyone around him.

But somehow her warmth made him, feel a bit lighter than usual.

The next morning.......

The next morning, Ariel woke up when her maid knocked on the door. She looked at her side, and saw the side empty, she lifted her eyes to windows, she could see the sun was about to rise.

She got up from the bed to get ready, her maids helped her with the dress and did her hairs. Although she was a princess, she didn't liked to wear those heavy gowns so she learns to design her costumes.

She wore a simple lavender gown, embroidered with lavenders, her balloon sleeves and her hairs braided. Her maids wanted to put some make up and perfume on her, but she refused to use them as she wasn't use to them.

She was guided to her carriage. While sitting in the carriage, her eyes roamed around to find her husband.

After few minutes, the carriage started moving. She turned on her right window, slightly pushing the curtains she saw him ridding on the horse by her side.

'*I really want to see how he looks, but I am scared to look at him......

even the maids were able to see him, they said he looks scary.......

Last night I was scared he will do something, but he said we can't.....

When I hear about those things, I really couldn't bring myself to do that.......

I was scared, if I offend him, he might kill me*......

After few minutes Ariel was in deep sleep, when the carriage suddenly stopped. The moments disturbed her, and she woke up.

She looked out to ask what was happening, but Arthur was already knocking at the window.

Arthur said "Don't come out...... it will be dangerous for you"

And he left, Ariel didn't moved an inch from her place, she sat their patiently waiting for him.

She could hear the clanking sound of sword, and screams of people.

She was scared to look out, or do anything. She closed her and covered her ears.

She heard the door opened, as she looked up she saw a stranger whose face was covered. She felt terrified seeing a stranger.

The man grabbed her hand and started dragging her out.

She kept saying "pl..... please le.....leave me....... m.....my.... husband as...asked me to....s...stay there ......

please lea....leave.... m..me"

She saw they were in between a forest, soon she saw Arthur fighting the other people who have their face covered, just like the man who was dragging.

He grabbed her neck, and placed a knife,

he said "Get your weapons down King...... or this girl will be dead"

Arthur's clothes were stained with blood. His eyes were bloodshot red in anger, his face had expression of devil.

Ariel was scared to see him, her eyes were filled with tears, she was trembling in fear.

Arthur's aura was getting darker as he walked towards her, with his sword in his hand.

The man kept saying "don't come any clo.... closure....or...I...I ....will ki.... kill her"

Arthur stood just a step away from her, he smirked devilish and said "KILL HER......You dare to..... hanh.... Kill her,

Arthur saw his grip loosened over her, at that moment he pulled Ariel to his side and inserted the sword in him.

Ariel's eyes were wide opened, she saw a man killed infront of her. She was shocked to the extent, that she passed out.

Arthur carried her back to her carriage, asked the maids to look after her.

The troop took rest beside a river, Arthur was sitting at shore of the river, leaning against a tree.

He needed to calm his mind

'I feel like, something is burning inside me since the moment I saw her......

but today when I saw her in those hands, I lost my calm......

I wanted to kill everyone who made her like this....

Her eyes were red, filled with tears...... I couldn't think of anything else than taking her back in my arms.......

She was trembling, maybe she was scared to see a man killed infront of her.......

I didn't wanted her to be a tool to threaten me, but it turned out she is making me more dangerous.......

Yes, I will destroy everyone who will try to harm or even laid an eye on her......

I don't know anything, but that she is my wife and will be till my last breath '

He took a deep breath, when he heard steps approaching him.

A maid came to him and said "Your majesty, her highness is not in good condition"

Arthur looked at her with his sharp eyes, as his face darkened and he said "WHAT"

The maid flinched and said "Ple.... Please ..... you... your ma...jesty...... don't ki... kill me......

I jus...just did.... what the physician.... said"

Arthur just said "LEAVE"

He walked to her tent, and saw her eyes close, but the maids were holding her hands, as she yelling in her sleep and struggling to break free.

The physician greeted him and said "Your majesty, her highness is in a phase,

she looks like she was terrified and is having a nightmare, at this time a person seeks comfort.....

As her husband, you are the only one who can do it......"

Arthur nodded and said "Everyone Leave"

Arthur got close to her, he could hear her "don't come near me..... le.... leave me.... don't hur ...hurt me......"

Arthur didn't know how to comfort, he just lied beside.

He could see she was moving alot, he locked her legs with his, and grabbed her hands, but she kept struggling.

He remembered the last night, what she did. He tried to do the same thing, he slidded his hands under her waist and other hand pushing her head to his chest.

He felt her getting calm a little bit, her fingers clutched on his shirt he felt her hugging him tighter than yesterday and the next moment, she started sobbing in his chest.

She said "Mommy..... I miss you"
