CHAPTER ONE

Laugh followed as we both sat down. Chris was teasing me.

"Stop it" I laugh.

"I just can't wait for us to get married ". He held my hand and I stare into his handsome eyes. He was the perfect man I need. His hair were getting longer. Need to get an haircut.

"Me too". I got up. "I'll go call mom and dad ". I went up sighting mom seating at her usual place with book in her hand. It's says how to be a perfect mother. She's too good for a mom. "Knock knock ". She raised her head.

"You're here". She smiled. I walk towards her.

"You know what mom, you're too good for a mother. I like the way you're. I don't need you to be perfect. I just want you to be the one you're ".

"Ok". She got up and the book flew back to the shelves. "Chris? "

"Down. Where's dad?"

"Working on his scientific project ". I held her through the transport elevator.

"It's Chris birthday and he should be there ".

"You know your father doesn't like party on air". We got out of from the elevator. "Chris"

"Ms. Jean". He got up. "How do you do MA?"

"Good. I'm sorry for delaying you ".

"Not at all. Actually, ziesha and I've agreed that we should hold the party here since dad doesn't like party on air".

"Sounds nice. I'll go and change into something nice and you". She face me."Set the table ". She left.

"I miss you so much ". Chris held me from the back.

"It's just some minutes Chris".

"I don't know. Maybe I'm stuck to you like a leech". He was sniffing my hair.

"I didn't wash it ".

"Don't care. It smells so good ".

"Let's go". I pulled him along. The table was filled with food. I pour in the cake powder on the plate. "Just a drop of water ". I put a drop of water in it and it turned into a big cake. You might be surprised but this is 3089. "All done ". I turned to Chris who was beside the door starring at me. "What?".

"You look beautiful ".

"You've said that a million times today ".

"Have I?". He walked towards me. "I guess I must love you so much ". He smiled and touch my face.

"I don't know what you're thinking about now but it's your birthday ". Mom and dad arrived.

"Chris". Dad came for a hug. "Happy Birthday boy".

"Thanks ". He let go of him.

"Sorry I took so long. Let's sit". We all sat. "So how's the wedding things going? ".

"Since you don't like the air, we would love to hold it under the water. Sad got a beautiful view of it".

"Sounds good to me ". Mom said.

"You've my words". Dad said. "Let's make a toast to the birthday boy ". We all raised our glasses up.

"To Chris". We all drank.

"I'll love you two to spend the night here". Mom said. "I really missed my daughter ".

"Actually, we planned to spend it at Jive".

"It's fine with me ". Chris said.

"Then it's settled". We start eating.

I opened my eyes. Chris was asleep. A smile lot my face. He must have been so tired. Then I heard the clanking of mental. Just what the hell is going up there. Chris moan.

"Why aren't you asleep?". He asked without opening his eyes.

"You're awake ".

"Something bothering you? " He opened his eyes.

"No. Just woke up and nothing else". His eyelids were closing. I smiled.

"I saw that ".

"Just get some rest". The clanking continue. "I'll go check it out ".

"Don't leave me ". He held my hand sleepily.

"I won't. Just wanna check what's making such noise". I swept the blanket over my body taking my robe tossed carelessly on the floor and put it on. I wore my bedroom slippers. I got out following the noise of the clanking mental. But it was all coming from dad project room. I didn't even know what he was working on. I opened the door and closed it. There were so many scientific project displayed.

"Welcome". The system said.

"Wow". I said looking around. "Did dad made all these ". I touched the robot machine. Then the clanking continue. I followed the sound only to meet a huge..... Well I don't know it's name. "I wonder what this could be? ". I touched it. It was big and beautiful. I removed the mental making such noises. "Time for you to sleep you little steel". I put it inside the drawer. Chris should be waiting for me. I made to go but I heard a sound. '2019 activated '. The machine spoke. The all I know was that I was being pulled by a huge force.

"Help me!! ". I screamed.

"One, two, three,....... ". The machine was counting as I was entering the portal.

"Oh no. This is not good. Chris!".

"Five. Ready to go ". Then I was transported to an unknown land.

CHAPTER TWO

I was standing in a house. My robe look loose.

"Where am I? " I looked around. "Oh no. Chris! " I shouted. Then I heard some footsteps. Someone's coming.

"You're awake ". It was a woman voice. She looks so young. I'm sure I'm quite older than her.

"Who're you and how did I got here? " I asked. She was already in front of me.

"Sit". She sat me down. "Actually ". She sat beside me. "I saw you lying unconscious outside. I thought you were dead. I just called the ambulance 🚑. I should called then back ".

"Where am I? "

"California ". I was shocked. Just where the fucking place is California? I stood up suddenly.

"Oh no. What have I done? "

"Are you okay? "

"I'm sure you can understand me. I'm Ziesha. I live in CN and I'm not sure on how I got here. Look, I'm getting married in two weeks time and I don't........ Oh no Chris. He should be expecting me".

"Calm down". She sat me down. "I get you but...... I think I really need to call a doctor ". She made for her cellphone 📱. I was so surprised because in CN, all you just need to do is to say the dude name and he's gonna answer.

I just couldn't believe my eyes. Cars were walking on land. I was in the hospital.

"She's fine. Little young to have memory loss ". Is this dude calling me young?

"I'm older than you and just what the hell are you talking about. Where the hell am I!!! Oh lord. I wanna go back home ". I cried.

"She's fine. Really ". The doctor said.

"Here's your room ". She opened a door of a room. It was beautiful but my room is far more better."If you need anything, just ring the bell 🔔 and the maids will answer you ".

"Maids?" I asked.

"All you've to do is ring the bell ". She smiled "I've things to attend to ". And left. I entered the room and heaved a sigh of loneliness. I sat on the bed and stared. For the first time, I missed Chris so much. Not that I don't missed him but this one is special. I took the pillow and cling onto it. "Mom. Dad. Chris. I'm scared ". All that followed were tears.

"I'm a fast learner ". I said to the maids. I was getting use to it since it's been a month since I've been here. "So what should I add in next?"

"Seasoning. Here". She hand me a plate full of it.

"Thanks ". I took it and poured it into the boiling soup. I was actually preparing it for Theresa. She looks tired this days. I could hear her car drive in. "She's here". I smiled .

"I'm sure she will be happy seeing you doing all this for her ". The maid smiled.

"I'll go meet her". I left. The door 🚪 opened and she was looking tired than ever. "Are you alright? "

"Get your stuffs. We're going to Australia "

"Now? " She sank into the chair and nodded. "But why? Is it something important?"

"I just don't want to leave you here cause I'll be staying there for at least five ".

"Five.... Oh. Now I see".

"What's smelling nice? " Then a smile lot my face.

"I'm making you dinner".

"Really? I thought you couldn't cook".

"I'm a fast learner ".

"Pity that we don't have much time left. Just get some few things and we'll do the rest over there".

"Ok". I left. There was really nothing to take. Just my diary and my favorite book. I was all set to go.

"Esha". That's my short name. Theresa called.

"Coming ". I took my bag and left.

"Let's go ". We left.

I kinda knew Australia. Chris and I often visit it but this wasn't the view. It was rainy season in Australia. After long hours of riding, we arrived at our destination. It was a really big house but it wasn't the one we were to lodged into. The gate opened and we drive in. The houses in it were magnificent. I wonder if it's some kind of hotel. Finally, we were there. But this was huge and beautiful than the others. I didn't say anything. The guards opened the door for us and we got down. Was I just treated like a First Class. Chris has always been the one to open the door for me but that wasn't necessary cause I could just tell it to open.

"Where's he? " Theresa asked the guards.

"In his room ma'am "

"Take the bags inside and Esha ". She faced me. "Let's go ". I followed like a dog obeying it master surveying the surrounding. The big door was opened and the made bowed down. We entered the elevator and Theresa press the 12th floor button. Then the door opened to a big and furnished sitting room. The guards and maids bowed as we stepped in.

"You can sit here. I'll be right back"

"Sure". She left and I sat. I watched everywhere then didn't know when I start to talk to myself. "Is this her fiance house? I don't think so. Maybe one of her clients ".

"You can't do this ". Theresa was coming out. I got up.

"Oh yes I'm". The was a guy at her back.

"Please. I swear I won't sneak out".

"That won't change my mind. Do you know what I sacrificed just to be with you? "

"I...... I'm sorry".

"I'm just doing this to protect you. Remember mom entrusted you to me before she died". She walk toward me.

"Who's she? " He asked.

"Here name is Ziesha. She's staying here".

"What? You didn't told me any of that".

"And I'm doing so". I stare at him. Oh my. Then my heart started to fluter. What the hell is wrong with me. My heart ♥ couldn't stop smiling at this tall handsome guy in front of me.

CHAPTER THREE

That wasn't first love 💕. I just admire his beauty. Not everyone is blessed with good look.

"All you do is order around! You don't even care about me".

" Tobais will you.......". But he was gone. Theresa sighed 😑😑😑😑.

We were outside talking.

"I need to go back Esha". I was stunned😨.

" What? I mean you can't just leave me here".

"I know but I've to. I'm going on a business trip and I'll be back after three month".

" I want to go with you".

"If you do then then who'll watch over Tobais

"The guards 💂 💂 and maids are there. Please let me go with you".

" You see, I trust you. Look Tobais is my brother and those guys are gonna let him sneak out no matter how I instruct them. Please Esha. You're the only one I can trust on this. Please help me watch over him. He's quite obstinate but believe me, he's really a good guy". She smiled.

"I'm not sure on what to say but I'll miss you Theresa".

" I'll miss you too. Now go inside. It's cloudy ⛅⛅⛅. I bet it'll start raining soon".

"Bye".

" Bye". She entered the car 🚗🚗 and I watched it drove out in front of me. She was right drops ☔ of water were falling little by little. I went back inside. I was in my room. Actually, it was near Tobais room. Theresa'd instructed me to watch over him. I took out my diary and start writting ✍ ✍. Then I heard a knock on the door 🚪.

"Come in". It was Tobais. I got up.

" You didn't lock the door?"

"What can I do for you?"

"You're quiet younger than me. Your age?"

"I........hum..... I'm twenty five".

" You look eighteen".

"Is there anything you want?" He sat on the chair 💺.

"I don't know what my sister might've told you but I hate people watching over me and besides, I hate noices. You can put on the T.V whenever I'm not around which can't be possible cause I'm grounded. I hate people getting pics of me then uploading it on social media and I'll decide on what we eat".

" Is that all?" I asked gently.

"Yes. Then, I'll get going". He left.

" what's with him".

"One more thing". The door opened." Let not be on friendly terms and always keep your door locked incase of privacy ". He was gone.

I woke up with a smile ☺☺ on my face. I'd dreamt of Chris. Actually, it was about the day he asked me out. Chris is some sort of shy guy. We couldn't tell each other our feelings. I was afraid to make the move because I thought I might got rejected and he was too. I swept the blanket from my body. I pull of my robe and went into the bathroom 🛁. It was a warm bath. I was all dressed in a short gown. Chris would've been all over me if he was here. I could feel his hand all over me.

" Are you okay?" It was the maid.

"I......" I dropped my hands from my body. "Yes".

" Master told me to bring you out".

"Okay". I followed. Tobais was eating." Good morning ".

" What's so good about it when you're being grounded".

"Sorry". I sat.

" For what? You weren't that got me grounded but it looks like you're babysitting me right now". He shouted.

"I____". He cut in.

" You're late".

"I woke up late".

" Indeed". He wasn't really eating."What's this?". I couldn't see what he saw. "Bone?" He picked it out. Of was only a small bone. "Where's the chef!"😡 The maids jumped and left hurridly. Looks like he's mad😡😡😡. The chef was brought in. " Why's there a bone in my meat?"

"I'm sorry sir. It was a mistake".

" Mistake? Do you know what this piece could do to me?"

"I deserve to die sir".

" Piss. You're fired". He got up and left. I think I just lost my appetite as I watched the poor man leave in tears😭😭😭.

"What's wrong with him?" I got up and left. He was sitting on the couch reading. "What right do you've to fired him?" He raised his gaze at me.

"What do you just say?"

"I'm sure that's the only job he got and you just..... You're heartless". He dropped the book and got up. Then walk closer to me. I stood there unmoved. Then he bursted into a laugh.

" You know what, I hate people calling me sort of names and if they do, I'm not sure on what I'm gonna do to them. You're the first person to call me such. You should feel honoured but remember, I'm not the cool type". He left.

I was on the phone ☎. Theresa was on the line.

"I really can't handle him". I said. " He feels on top of the world 🌍".

"I'm so sorry. I should've been the one to watch him not you".

" No. It's okay. I can manage him. Still talk some senses into his big head".

"Do you love💗 that place?".

" A little. It's big and boring. I got no friend to talk to".

"I can get you a job in one of my dad company".

" Really? I'll really appreciate it".

"OK. Just tell the driver to drive you there tomorrow. I'll talk to the manager".

" Why isn't Tobais working? "

"It's a long story".

" I won't pry". I smiled. "Bye".

" Okay". I hung up.

"My first job, here I come". I got up and start picking some clothes for my first job.

I sat on the dinning chair dressed in my short gown and heels 👠.

" Good morning 🌄 ". I said to Tobais who is always frowning 😠😠. I wonder if he doesn't smile😃 at all. I wonder who he's gonna pick a fight with this morning.

" Why did you called my sis?" Looks like it's me.

"She called and asked about how I was doing".

" What did you say to her?"

"Why should I tell you? That's my private stuff".

" I get what I want".

"Not from me. Just who the hell're you?"

"Are you talking to me?" I really didn't wanna cause a fight.

"You know what, I really think you need to visit a doctor and fix that your silly brain". I got up and left.

My stomach roared with hunger as the car move. I didn't even get a bite from those fresh baked bread. I'm probably loosing weight. The car halt in front of the company. The driver got down to opened the door and I stepped out. It was a big company. The driver left. Theresa'd told me I was here for an interview. I didn't even know what job but all I want is to get a job right now. Then, tons of cars halted in front of me. Who could it be? The guards stepped down to open the door. Then a leg stepped out. I was already gonna turned when something stopoed me. A young man stepped out of the car. I thought I was dreaming but I wasnt. It was Chris.

" chris!" I shouted and ran toward him giving him a big hug.

"Get her away from me". He shouted and the guards pull me away from him. I kept struggling.

" Chris. It's me Ziesha. Don't you remember me".

"She's crazy! Find her a doctor". He walked away.

" Chris". I shouted after him.
