Eros 's POV

I looked at my to do list.. I've accomplished so much of what I thought as impossible once..Let's see .

1. Get away from home ☑ check

2. A proper college for higher education ☑ double check

3.Bestie ☑ triple check (no way I'm gonna do anything without her uwu)

4. Somewhere to live ☑ cheeeck

5.A bike, preferably bullet ☑ check (sadly it's not a bullet ,But now I've gotten over my obsession for bullet, my bike is awesome )

6. A part time job ☑ check

7. Tattoos 口 not check.

well now the next big thing to do is to get those tattoos. But then there's not so important things to do.. like unpacking.

My bed is bare, there are multiple cardboard boxes with my stuff, The two Duffel bags are on the floor, my shoes on top of the table, My suitcase still stuck at the door, and me just standing in the middle of all this; doing... ✨absolutely nothing ✨

Oh I forgot to introduce myself, didn't I? I'm Eros Nephthys Villian which by the way is the worst possible name for a girl. Yes I'm a girl. I'm thinking you know who Eros is - incase you don't - he's the Greek God of love, you know like cupid. Now you might be wondering who'd names their daughter a masculine first name...my mother does apparently.

And that's not even the worst part. My second name,Nephthys_(pronounced as nef-th-is)_ is after some Egyptian goddess of deadth and a river.I know, my mom's obsessed with such ancient names and stuff. But giving people a lecture about your name every single time you meet someone is so tiring. Like no one even knows how to pronounce Nephthys. I think I should make some card and give it when someone asks me next time.

So anyways I usually say Eros because even if that's a boy name it's at least pronounceable. And people usually think I'm a boy at first so it fits OK. I think I shouldn't tell my middle name when I go to my new college . That could prevent a lot of trouble..

Anyways back to the track. We -me and my bestie, Winter - have finally left home and is now going to live in this apartment as well as go to this college we always wanted to. And I have about a ton of stuff to do to make this room look habitable. Welp I'm in no mood to do chores.

I plopped down on the bare mattress and lay down. I'm utterly exhausted from carrying all this stuff and the travel. Perhaps I should get some sleep before I start.

I woke up to "The hulk smash " alarm(its different dialogues by hulk all combined into this horrible chaotic noise.My brother calls it hulk smash, don't ask me why. That boy is a nutcase) . 3 o' clock .The alarm was set by my brother for his favorite TV show , and the ringtone was specially created for this purpose. I'm thankful though. I would've slept a lot more if it didn't go off right now .

I have a lot of stuff to unpack.. Maybe I should just beg Winter to help me. Yeah that should be easier than doing all this alone.

Winter's POV

Everything was quiet for a while, too quiet in fact. It seemed like the calm before the storm. And I was right. My door banged open and in came the storm with a call of "Winn-taah". You guessed it right. It's Nef, A.k.a Eros. I instantly tensed up. Don't get me wrong, I love that girl to death, but she's such a nuisance with her loud and hyper active character. But again I don't like it when she gets silent, in which case she'd be planning something wicked.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself .I'm Winter, Winter Moon . I see that you already met Nef, but I doubt you got to know anything worth while from her. So I'll tell you all about us.

The two of us have been friends since we were 8. And As you might have guessed we just moved to a new place. That's because I didn't want to stay home anymore. I told that to Nef, and she was like "If you are going far away, I'm coming tooo" She didn't even think of her own studies . Still I managed to find a good place for her near my college. I would never tell her but secretly I like that she puts my needs before her own. Especially because no one else had did that for me, not even my own family.

So yeah, my family background is quite messed up. I don't even remember my own mother ,she had run away with her lover when I was 7.My dad already had a relationship with this lady.So when my mom went of on her own, he took the chance to remarry. Suddenly I had this other "Mother " and a "sister " living with me.

My step-mom isn't the Cinderella step-mom type. She's quite good to me. But I don't like her. Every time I see her with her children, I feel an indescribable hatred. I guess this makes me the villain in their story but that's just how I am.

I used to be friends with my step-sister ,a.k.a Lily; before our half-brother , a.k.a Leo was born .Then onwards Lily was all over that kid and expected me to act the same. I didn't like the kid, why? I.d.k. Perhaps I was jealous.

(Let me clarify for those who confuses the terms, step sibling & halfcsibling; Step siblings is the child of your step-parent. While half sibling is the child of your parent and your step-parent)

Anyway that was one of the reasons I wanted attention. I managed to get that at school, we're I was the most popular girl. Almost everyone wanted to be my friend. Nef, was one of the exceptions. She was usually alone when she wasn't her only companion was this boy. I didn't think much of that because I had thought that she was a boy(,and I had no interest in boys and their weirdness ). And her name, Eros, didn't make it feel otherwise.

But what made me notice her was the fact that she never stood up for herself. Like someone will verbally bully her and she will be like, meh. But I also noticed that she won't let anyone touch her. Except the boy. He was also the one to protect her. But obviously he can't always be there. So I decided to step in and help her. Which might have been the best decision I've ever made.

We talked a lot after that. And I that's how I realized that she's a girl and that guy was her twin. But what really bonded us was the fact that she too, didn't have a mother. Her mother had died giving birth to the twins. Anyway we became friends.

But at that time I didn't know how much of a genius this quite girl was. Even back then, she had this way with technology stuff. She could program these mini games , or innovate new games. I slowly realized that she could have caused so much trouble for anyone who messed with her if she wanted. But she didn't.

I also came to realize that she was very brave . And also that she was strong physically. She just chose not to make trouble. I only found out that when we were 12. That's when I started getting catcalled. At first we didn't mind but I don't know why but one day she just snapped at this guy and proceeded to break his wrist, she probably would've succeeded if I didn't stop her.

That's all for our past. Maybe I'll say more about it later, but not today. Let's just go back to the present where Nef, have barged into my room interrupting my thoughts as well as stopping me from organizing my room
