james comes from a rich family. he has difficulties with his father so they meet or talk very rarely. his mother did her best to reunite them but nothing.

" you should start thinking about your futur son"

" please don't start again🙄"

" how dare you talk to your father with this manner?"

"i did not..."

" shut your mouth and leave this place!"

james does not live with his parents he rents a house with his best bro roy. he often goes to their house for his mother sake.

james went back to his place. on his way back, he met roy.

" why are you here?" he asked

" don't you have any manners james? you could just greet me right and we did not meet yesterday"

" it is not necessary just tell me why you are here and you are drinking?"

" what! i am not allowed to drink or what just leave me alone"

" alright i'm going take care and be back soon".

james and roy met during their childhood. james was the rich and roy the poor they met in a shop when roy tried to steal some food for his mother (cause he already lost his father) so other children were chasing after him. he bounded into james and he saved him . he bought james to his house but he discovered that his mother had already died. he cried for a long time . so james spoke to his dad about letting roy stay with them. since then they became like brothers.

roy came back very late that day and quickly went to bed. the next morning , was time for college but james did not want to go although roy really wanted to go so he could not let his brother go to school without him and agreed to go.

" what happen? why did you suddenly changed your mind?" asked roy

" no reasons i just want to go too. get ready and let's go"

" yes yes almost done"

they left the house and reached the school they were a month late in school. people were gossiping about their arrival in the whole school. when they reached, every student were admiring them

" woww such handsome boys !"

but they didn't care about it at all. they went separately as decided.

in his class james sat on a taken place without knowing but no one told him the girls were all dreaming on his face. a girl came infront of him

" hello sorry to disturb but this is my seat and you can't sit here"

he didn't pay attention to her so she got angry and poured a bottle of water on his face. he got up angrily

" what's up with you? can't you see me or what?" said james

she also ignored him and became so so angry

" don't play dumb with me now or..."

" or what! what can you do to me ? just nothing because you are not capable. so you want to scare me with your father 's money? hahaha funny guy . you think living in a wealthy family can make you treat people the way you want? then you are not welcomed here go back to your father's house"

" move aside"

james went out of the class and promised never to come back again because of that incident

" please james you don't have to leave this school because of a girl" said roy

" it is not what you think. i hatted this place at the very beginning but i could not let you come here alone"

" so now you want to leave right, you can go i won't stop you brother"

roy was angry so he left and went to his class. james decided not to leave anymore because he cared about his brother, but he promised himself to find a way to make him leave the school.

it was brak time and everyone got out of the class exept james and rose ( the girl he met before) . after noticing that he was alone with her in class, he decided to have a talk with her for the sake of his brother.

" hey" shows his hands " i am james "

but rose did not shake his hand so he put them down and continued

"sorry for what happened earlier, i was just in a bad mood, i should not have acted that way"

she still did not even look at him. he tried everuthing but she did not say a word.

" since you don't want to talk to me , i won't force you i will just leave"

meanwhile other students were looking at them from the window.

"wait! " she finaly said

" i am rose and i hate arrogant people and if you are one of them i don't think we will be fine. otherwise i appologise for my bad behaviour too, i was too reckless "

after hearing everything she said, james went out.

" wow how did you become friends with that handsome guy" said the others " please tell us"

she smiled " we are not friends"

on his side, roy met a lot of new friends. he was enjoying very much with his new friends.

he also met a girl. she isn't a good one but he doesn't know about her bad side.

the break ended and classes started. everystudent were in their class but james was in the library. he was reading a book, then an old man came out of no where and told him " my son your friend is in danger and you must protect her"

he was surprised " who? what are you talking about? roy? what happened to him?"

" i'm talking about rose bad people are following her and you must protect her and put those people down"

" but..."

before he could end his sentence that the man had alreasy left. he was thinking that why should he protect her and why will people hurt her? he had so many questions in mind.

back to his place with roy, he didn't say a word. so roy started worrying about him

" what is wrong brother? do you have a problem?"

" no no i just feel a bit tired i wil get a shower and go to bed, you should do the same"

roy knew that something was wrong with him, but he did not bother to ask again

the next day, he came to school very early in other to meet rose. but unfortunately she was not around yet, so he waited for her at the front door. thirty minutes passed and she arrived. she was struggling to breath and she stopped infront of him.

" what happened to you rose"

" some people were following, they wanted to catch me so i ran away"

after hearing what she said, he started thinking about the words of the old man the previous day.

" right don't worry i will protect you. so from now on you have to follow me"

" thank you, but i don't need your protection you don't have to worry about me"

" please don't be stuborn, because you din't know my reasons."

" i'm leaving, and please don't interfere in my bussiness. i told you about it not because i needed protection but because you asked "

she left and went to her class

" what a stuborn girl" he thought.

Time passed, and everytime they meet he always save her from danger. on day she got kidnapped, and she has been told to bring james to them if she wanted to live again

" i won't bring him, because i have nothing to do with him"

" you can 't say that you have nothing to do with him although he saves you from us everytime you meet and you accepted his help."

" i did not accept it i told him to stay away from me, but he did not listen to me."

" then bring him here so he will stay away from you being here and we will not trouble you anymore. what do you say?"

" i will think it over again. now can you let me go?"

meanwhile, james was sure that he did the right thing by becoming friends with rose and trusting her. he was willing to do anything for her because of what he felt for her. is it love?

rose spent a whole week without coming to school. she was thinking about what the kidnappers said.

" what if i give him to them? and i'm sure he will stay away from me. but what will they do to him. he always helps and he trust me how can i do this to him now?"

on the other side, james was very worried. he tried to reach her several times but he failed.

the next week, rose came to school. she met james first

" hello james. thank you for your help all this time. if it wasn't for you i would not have been here today.

" no. don't worry . by the way why didn't you come to school last week?"

" ahh yes i wasn't feeling too good so i stayed at home to get some rest. let's go to class now.

everything was fine with them eversince. james was happy about finding a friend because he never got one before. he always tells her everything about him. roy was studying very hard to be the top of his class cause it was one of his goals, so he didn't have any time to notice his brother's and rose friendship. one day, roy met his brother in the corridor, he was talking and smiling with rose so he came closer.

" bro what happen? who is this girl?"

" she is a friend of mine. rose meet my brother"

" nice to meet you" rose said

roy took his brother away

" what are you doing, you are changing. you don't work hard anymore and now you smile with her?"

" don't worry she is a good person and she needs my help"

" alright if you said so"

rose asked james to help her. she asked him to go to a shop. when he got there, he was immediately beaten up and sent in a truck to go away with him. so it turn out that rose decision was to hand james over.
