It as long time since she saw her mom and visited her.

Mia finished her studies and planned to continue her masters in the same city where her mom’s live.

Her mother started a new life with the life of her life faraway form her daughter, her husband is quite rich because he works in the most up growing company in the whole city, he loves Mia and treats her like his own.

Mia looked for a flat for a long time but with no luck and her mom insisted that she lives with them as they prepared a whole suite for her. She packed up all of her things and looked forward to start her new adventure unaware of what the future holds for her.

After a long drive and a sleepless night, she reached her destination early in the morning and she was glowing with happiness, she knew that her new life near the dearest person in her life will be amazing.

Her mom Grace was waiting for her and the moment she saw her car, she called for her husband Jack to go and help with her luggage. They both immediately jumped out of the door hugging her so hard until she said:

“Mum! I need to breath, ah”

“Oh! So sorry dear”

She let go when Jack said with a big smile on his face:

“You can’t blame her! She didn’t even sleep, she was waiting for this moment since long time ago!”

They all stood up in front of the door catching up a little bit when Jack interrupted:

“Come on! Let’s get your stuff inside, my boss will be here any minute! I am going with him today, we have a bid day today!”

Grace went inside quickly to prepare her daughter’s room while Jack and Mia started taking all of her staff inside.

The luggage were so heavy that they were carrying it slowly and her car was full and they were doing shifts!… Jack was inside trying to get one upstairs while Mia was trying her best to get one luggage out of the trunk when she did not notice a huge car pulled infront of the parking spot of the house.

She was struggling to get it when someone from behind reach out and pulled it out together with her!

“I can help!” He said

She immediately stood away in a gaze, looking the strange man up and down, his eyes didn’t leave hers because when he saw her from his car , she took away his breath.

For him, she was a sweet angle with her short white dress and beige comfortable high heels, her long black hair and beautiful skin, doing all sorts of clumsy looks on her face! He couldn’t take his eyes away from him and without any hesitation he stepped out to help her.

What a mesmerizing moment! Both of them were looking at each other without saying any word until Jack broke the silence.

“Oh, hey there! You’re already here. I didn’t notice, I will grap my staff and we get going but let me carry the last luggage with Mia if you may!”

Ethan spoke without taking his eyes off of Mia:

“Sure! Take your time, I will help as well”

“No, no no, please I will take care of it”

“I insist!”

He took the heavy luggage away when Mia closed the car’s trunk and followed them inside.

She was standing with her mum when Jack came back with this tall mysterious good looking man in his black suit.

“Mia! Let me introduce you! This is Ethan, my boss”

“This is Ethan! My boss”

“Hello, nice to meet you!” He approached her handing his hand over to shake hers.

She went closer slowly

“Hey, I am Mia!”

Grace interrupted the moment by inviting Ethan to dinner

“You need to come today, we are doing a feast because of Mia’s arrival, I know you’re a busy man but if you can spare sometime for a lovely dinner, we will appreciate it”

He smiled softly to her and said while excusing himself

“I will do my best! Thank you so much for the invite”

Both of the men left in a hurry and the ladies went upstairs to start unpacking. While on the road Ethan couldn’t help himself but asking:

“Who is she?” He seemed interested so much in her that it was his first time asking about a woman’s identity

“Sorry! Do you mean Mia?”

“Yes!”

“Well! She is my step kido, my wife had a daughter already before we got married, Mia is such a lovely and innocent child! She finished her university and she applied for masters here in the city… so we obliged her to stay with us! Today is her first day moving in with us”

“Ok, I see!”

The rest of the drive to the company was all business talk, they did not discuss any further details concerning Mia. But of course Ethan had his own plans.

Both men had a long good relationship due to the fact that Jack is considered as his right arm because he worked with his father before to built an empire of business for Ethan’s family…

After a long day in meetings and at work, Jack was heading home and he passed by his boss’s office to check:

“Did you consider the dinner invite yet?” He questioned while looking at Ethan from back at the door

“Well! Yes, go ahead I will finish what I have and I will be after you”

Jack left the office and directly went home as it was already late, while Ethan grabbed his phone and called his assistant:

“Did you get what I have asked you to order….ok, Bring it in, I’m leaving”

The door bell rang and there he was, the handsome tall man with his black hair and beard dressing in such elegant way entering the house with a big red bouquet of flowers and one of the most expensive wine bottles.

He searched with his eyes for Mia but she was no where to be found, they invited him and and Jack asked him to go outside for drink near the pool and to enjoy the view.

After a little while, Ethan couldn’t stop himself but to ask:

“Where’s Mia?”

Jack knew that something is going on in his boss’s head because he usually is not interested in anyone and he does not ask these type of questions, so he smirked and replied:

“She is upstairs changing, she had a long day of unpacking so she just finished, she will be down very soon and we can start, if you’re hungry we can start now!”

“No! No I am just asking! We can wait”

He immediately looked away and pretended like he was not curious at all.

“Sorry! I kept you waiting” said Mia

Ethan directly stood up and looked at her with a sexy gaze, he was astonished by her beauty, for him she has the innocent look mixed with a charm that he never saw before, she had a big deep black eyes with a long soft hair that was a little wet when she came down in a rush, she wore long waisted shorts with a silk shirt and all he was able to do was to nod with his head and than he woke up from her charm spell to say:

“Hey, it’s fine! It must’ve been a long day!”

She smiled softly at him and they followed each other to the dining table.

They had a lovely dinner, everyone was feeling at ease sharing so many details and Ethan was not able to take his eyes off of Mia, he had so many questions for her and he was trying to get all of what he needed to know about her personal life by tricky questions.

“So tell me Mia!” Said Ethan holding the glass of win in his hands “what are your plans before you get back to your masters education, you still have a long summer ahead of you”

“I am looking for a part time job!…Actually I found one and tomorrow will go to check it out and not forget that I will enjoy summer here! So..”

“Really!”

“Yes! It’s a decent library shop, I love reading… it will be an opportunity for me to know more about books! So I will give it a go”

“Interesting, well! If you did not like it! I.. I mean we can offer you a part time job in one of our companies as well! You can choose the field of course”

“Thank you so much! Appreciate it, if not I will consider it”

After that, Jack offered a drink for Ethan near the pool so they can discuss work and the ladies went off to help cleaning and preparing for the dessert.

While eating the lovely cake, Ethan spoke with a sweet smile on his face:

“Grace, you know that we have been successful for the past 4 years and recently we won a business that we were fighting for a long time! So we are doing a big event next weekend and it will be a huge Gala.

I want to invite you both, it will mean a lot for Jack as he was and still a part of the success”

“Such a wonderful news! Of course I will attend” Grace replied with excitement

“Congratulations!” Mia looked happy for her step dad and she gave him a quick hug followed by Ethan’s glance.

It was late and so it time to leave, Ethan shake hands with everyone but when he grabbed Mia’s, he looked deeply into her eyes and pressed on her soft hand and he quietly said drawing a smile on his face:

“See very you soon Mia!”

Mia woke up in the morning thinking about last night and how Ethan looked at her but than she thought to herself and spoke her mind out loud:

“A man like him will never think about me! I must be dreaming, we’re not even from the same society level”

She went to her interview and she got the library job, she was promised that she will start in five days, she was excited to begin her new life journey that she feels it will be filled with stirring and delightful deed.

She was not aware that Ethan has another plans fo her as she never left his thoughts since the day he met her.

He was so determined to get her by his side and know her better and was willing to do what ever it takes to win her heart even though he knew her for few days but it was for him a love from a first sight.
