Sighing . My home base was being invaded by aliens

"Now (y/n), say hello to your new brother, daichi" mom whispered to me

"Hi" i unenthusiastically said.

"Hi, (y/n)" he smiled

What a fake smile. He hated this as much as me.

"You should get to know each other well. Meanwhile we'll....." mom abd dad smiled at each other.

Yeah, yeah, you'll be all lovey dovey and kiss or whatever, i wanted to say. I really didn't need to see that, so i left along with daichi

I was about to go inside my room, but daichi stopped me.

"Wait, (y/n). Don't you, uh, want to talk some more?"

"About what?" i coldly stared at him.

"I don't know, just about anything......"

"If that's all you wanted to say, then I'm going in my room. Don't bother me" i slammed the door of my room on his face.

I sighed again. That place that used to be empty and where i could do whaterver i want, was nowhere to be found now. Just a bit more, i told myself. Just a bit more till i graduated highschool. Then i would go to collage and stay at a dorm or somewhere else so i wouldn't have to come back to this miserable place.

Really, i hated it. But when i get older, I'll be able to do whatever i want. When i get older, i could date whoever i want without my parents criticizing me. I eould break away from them, and that would be so nice. Since there are still people who don't agree with same sex relationships like my mom and ......"new dad" . And i bet Daichi was just like them.

It was nice before. Although my mom didn't agree with those kind of relationships, because she was always working, she came home late and i didn't see her much. But now it's different. I'm not really close to my mom, and specially not now to my new dad. Don't even get me started on Daichi.

What should i do, i really don't know if i can deal with this...... At times llike these, i should go to Akari's house. She always made me feel better. So that's what i did.

My mom was a bit surprised at how fast i left the house, they actually didn't really care that much so it was fine.

"Akariiii" i whined

" I'm guessing it's about your step dad and brother" she opened the door to her house, letting me in.

"Yeah....."

" I'll get the snacks"

"Thank you" i grinned.

While she was in the kitchen, i went to her room upstairs. At times like this, curiousity got the best of me. I wonder if she has a porn stash. I don't know about you, but i- (not gonna finish that sentence)

I Looked under the bed. Nothing. Hmm, maybe in her drawers then? Lol, if I'm lucky I'll even- ah.

My guess turned out to be correct. The first drawer i opened had a book in it. Taking it out, i flipped through pages. Isn't this-?

Akari dropped the bag of chips. How did she get here so fast?

"T....hat's..... " she looked frightened.

In my hands was a book about girls love showing pictures of girls kissing.

There's actually a lot of gay people in the world, but they tried to hide it and won't tell anyone because it's something that can't be easily said.

Akari would usually get a dip for the chips, but it seems like she forgot it this time along with other things.

I started to feel bad from the look on her face. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to snoop around her stuff.

"Ah, it's ok, I'm gay too" i quickly said

"Huh?"

There was some awkward silence for a couple of seconds while we just stare at each other.

"......Really?"her face looked surprised and somewhat happy.

"Wah, I'm so glad" she suddenly exclaimed.

"Yeah" i smiled shyly.

Weh both smiled, but her cheeks started getting red.

"Oh, I wonder if she actually felt the need to get the dip or if it was more of her trying to cope with the situation. Things like this is a bit embarrassing. I mean you wouldn't want anyone founding out you're gay cause they found your stash, right?

We decided to watch a movie while eating, but the whole time i felt a bit uncomfortable. It was like i was being stared at, but i looked at Akari she was just looking at the screen. Weird.

Afterwards, Akari's expression looked a bit differently.

"You know (y/n), i was trying to be nice before . But i don't know if i can keep that up. You looked through my stuff without my permission after all~" she smirked.

Oh, no i knew something was off. I was too lucky to think that i got off that easily.

"Look, I'm sorry i won't do it anymore. I didn't looked through anything else, i swear" i said tried to persuade her.

"It's nothing that bad~ just know that in the future, you have to do me a favor" she looked serious at the last part.

"What's that supposed to mean, i don't think i'll-"

"You. Looked. Through. My. Stuff. Don't be such a coward as to back away now, alright?" She smiled, but i could tell that she's serious.

I hope it'll be fine. Akari got a very different personality, one second she's so sweet the next she's cruel. Really, i can never predict what she's thinking. When people piss her off she gets back at them 2 times more. She's stolen people's stuff, locked people out of the school, and even beaten up people. You shouldn't get on her bad side.

People wonder why I'm friends with her, but she can be really nice sometimes. So far, she never done anything bad to me. Everyone says she treats me the best. I guess i agree, because i've known her more than her other friends.

I wonder what she's planning. Well i'll worry about that later like i always do.

*Timeskip*

The next day at school, a random girl came up to me and said goodmorning. I was confused because i don't know her but replied the same thing. She left to go to class shortly after. Wondering if i talked to her before, she looked familiar tho. Have i seen her before?

When i went to class, i looked around and actually spotted her. Oh, she's in my class. I didn't really pay attention to that kind of details tho.

What was her name again?

Cha....chi..... something?

The teacher did the attendance and i actually payed attention this time.

"Chiho" he called

"Here" i looked to see it was the girl from the morning. So that's her name.

She caught me staring at her, looked back at me. It was an awkward moment as we locked eyes, but then she smiled at me. Huh.

"Achoo!" I rubbed my nose.

"It's too cold, i wish i brought a sweater" i said.

It was supposed to be warm today, so i wore lighter clothes to school. So much for that weather forecast.

"(y/n)" if you're cold then...." Akari unzipped her sweatshirt and took it off.

"Take my sweater " she handed it to me.

"Is that okay? won't you be cold with only a tshirt?" I asked.

"Hurry up and take it already"

"Thanks" i put it on.

She turned her head away but i could still tell that she started to smile. I wonder why?

It was lunch time and I'm deciding on what should i get.

"Hey, Akari" i poked her shoulder with my finger.

"Ah! Why is your finger so cold?" She turns towards me with a worried look.

"Oh, yeah. My hands are abnormally cold during autumn for some reason"

It was sudden, but she grabbed my hands with hers.

"Here, i'll try to warm them up"

"Oh, your hands are so warm" i felt comfortable with her.

Akari's face then started getting red. Is it from the cold?

I looked at the line to get food and saw how long it had gotten.

"Ah, better get lunch before it's too late" i took my hands away from her and hurried to get on line.

Before leaving, i saw a glimpse of Akari's dissapointed face.

Since Akari already got lunch from home, i guessed she went to sit at our usual spot to wait for me as i bought food. It was annoying as usual to get food, but eventually the line disappeared and i bought food.

"Hey!" Chiho waved at my direction.

I had just gotten food and was walking to meet Akari, when i stopped . I looked around but saw no one. Was chiho waving at me?

"Hi?" I replied but it seemed like a question.

"Why don't we eat lunch together?!" She grabbed my arm lightly.

I was holding a tray of food in bot my hands, so i couldn't easily shake her off.

"Uh, sorry.... But i don't really know you" i awkwardly said.

"We can't? But i want to get to know you. I wanted to be friends" she smiled.

????

"Uh...." I looked around for inspiration of excuses or help.

Then i spotted Akari going in our direction.

She looked happy when she saw me, but then had a confused expression when she saw chiho with me.

"I was wondering what was taking you so long..." Akari looked at chiho, but it wasn't friendly. A bit of a glare if you ask me.

Akari then grabbed chiho's hand and roughly took it off my arm.

"Don't grab her like that" Akari said with a serious tone.

"Sorry.... But i just wanted to talk to (y/n)" chiho wasn't ready to give up.

"Right, (y/n)? Why don't we eat together, it'll be fun to talk to someone new" chiho smiled again at me.

"Uh...." I don't know that to say as a bad aura was emitting.

"Do you know each other (y/n)?) Akari said looking at me.

"Not really..." I said.

"That's why we should get to know each other" chiho exclaimed.

Why was chiho this persistent?

"Can't you see that you're bothering her? (Y/n) is going to sit with me, not you so why don't you just leave already" Akari glared at chiho.
