The school bell sounded, echoing throughout the corridors of the high school as they filled with students, Sanji grumbled to himself the amount of people was rather, inconvenient, he thought to himself as he weaved his way through his fellow students, finally managing to escape the hell hole and get outside. The warm summer air hit his body and he sighed in relief, there were far less people outside and he could actually walk without his feet being trod on every five seconds. As he reached the bench that he sat at every lunch to reach he let out a sigh, he loved this bench, it was located right at the back of the school and was rather convenient for escaping the crowds and noise, Sanji adjusted his glasses and moved his side bangs over his his left eye before pulling out a book from his bag to read, Sanji gave a content smile and began to read his book.

After 20 minutes of reading silently he was interrupted by someone\, ``PSST``\, the voice sounded from the other side of the wall that out skirted the school from the rest of the city\, Sanji glanced over to where the noise was coming from but returned to reading dismissing it\, his eyebrow twitched growing annoyed as the voice called again\, Sanji sighed and closed his book with a thud throwing it down onto the table as he rose from his seat and wandered over to the wall.

``Hello?`` He asked narrowing his gaze to the wall\, he wasn't tall enough to see over it but he knew someone was there by their panting breaths.

``Finally! Hi!`` The voice called followed by a slight deep chuckle as they caught their breath\, ``Are there any teachers around?`` The voice asked\, Sanji narrowed his gaze once again but looked around nonetheless doing a sweep of the back of the school before turning back to the wall.

``Uh no-`` Sanji started before being cut off by the voice throwing a bag over the wall with a loud thud on the other side\, Sanji flinched at the bag glancing over to it\, not what i expected\, he thought to himself before someone jumped down beside him while he was focused on the bag\, he once again flinched before turning to the voice\, a boy his age stood next to him\, much taller and muscular than the skinny short Sanji\, Sanji eyed the figure as they brushed themselves down then turned to him extending a hand\,

``Thanks dude\, owe you one for sure`` The voice chuckle lightly as Sanji hesitantly shook their hand\, giving an awkward smile\, he just wanted to read\, study or something other than\, this. ``Ivan`` The voice nodded to him releasing his hand.

``Uh\, Sanji`` Sanji replied as he wandered back over to his backpack\, packing up his book.

``Thanks for the help Sanji`` Ivan smiled picking up his own back and tossing it over his shoulder as he blew a bubble on the gum in his mouth and walked over to Sanji.

``Your welcome`` Sanji put his backpack on and nodded over with a rather forced smile\, better be polite\, this guy could kill me\, Sanji thought as he once again glanced at Ivan's figure\, mainly his muscles\, ``Are you sure your in the right place?`` Sanji asked narrowing his gaze up to the boy.

``Pretty sure? This is *blah blah* high school no?`` Ivan laughed leaning on the table with a smile\, ``Why?`` Ivan tilted his head.

``You just don't look the right age to be here`` Sanji answered bluntly checking the time on his watch.

``Ill take that as a compliment`` Ivan laughed before the bell sounded and Sanji started walking off\, Ivan grabbed his stuff and ran to catch up with him.

``Why're you following me`` Sanji gave a sigh as he kept walking\, Ivan trailing behind him.

``I'm kinda new- I don't know anyone else so`` Ivan grinned walking up beside him\, Sanji sighed quietly and nodded.

``Follow me then`` Sanji mumbled\, Ivan gave a grin holding his chin high\, triumphantly.

‘’Whats your first class then?’’, Sanji exhaled as they got into the school, recrowded by all the students, he gave a singular glance back to the boy before focusing back on not getting attacked by bumbling students in the small corridors as they walked to his locker,

‘’English i believe’’, Ivan replied with a smile as they arrived at the locker, leaning his back against them as Sanji rummaged through for his books, Ivan waved and smiled at various people walking by as they did to him, he was a good looking guy, clearly going to be popular too, which made Sanji exhale as he glanced back the others that walked by for a moment, and of course, here came the odd looks, people wondering why a pretty boy like Ivan would hang out with such as Sanji, the boring one in the school that hadn’t done anything remotely cool in his life, no girlfriends, no parties, no hanging out with class mates after school, that sort of fun. Sanji turned back to the locker giving a look of grimace to himself to the reply from Ivan, sighing as he glanced over to him now,

‘’Class room?’’, Sanji asked over, dreading the reply, there would be 4 english classes on right now, so there was a 1 in 4 chance it would be his class,

‘’E3’’, Ivan rellied with a smile, Sanji stared for a moment, grumbling quietly to himself before shutting the locker, great… he thought to himself before sighing,

‘’Come on then'' he sighed, Ivan chuckled lightly, he could sense the prickly aura around the smaller, not that it put him off, following after sanji towards the classroom.

Sanji gave a quiet sigh once again as they entered the room, he wasnt used to having a- 'friend', following him around, he was used to being alone, talking to nobody throughout the day and just focusing on school, he glanced over his shoulder to Ivan, who was still following him, pressing his lips onto a thin line as he looked back in front, watching where he was going as he made his way to the back of the room, sitting down, Ivan flopping down next to him on the same table giving a small smile over, he didnt mind Sanjis clear cold persona, staring for a moment before getting distracted by some people that walked over,

‘’Hi there!’’, one of the girls greeted them, well, Ivan, Sanji had always been invisible, grabbing stuff out of his bag and opening his book staying quiet, Ivan gave a smile to the new arrivals,

’’Your new right?’’, the other chirped up with a smile, lolling her head to one side, Ivan glanced over to Sanji breifly before looking back to the girls,

’’Sure am, Ivan’’, he’d chuckle nightly with a smile,

’’Well!, im Hannah and this here is Chloe, its a pleasure to meet you’’, Hannah smiled, gesturing to Chloe next to her as she introduced her, Ivan giving a dip of his head to both girls, not too interested by them, he never was much with girls, but he was polite none the less, giving them both smiles, ‘’Say, do you want to join us for karaoke?, a few of us are going after school, your welcome to join us!’’, she’d give a chuckle, gesturing back to some other students who gave a wave, Hannah giving a smile back to them before looking back at the two, Ivan thought for a moment before nodding with a smile,

‘’My friend here welcome to join?’’, Ivan asked them with a smile, Sanji exhaled a sigh into his book quietly, glancing up to the girls giving a nervous smile, not looking for long, glancing back down, the girls nodded,

‘’Sure he can!’’, Chloe chimed, giving a smile to the both of them, ‘’Well we’ll meet you at the gate after the bell!, bye!’’, she’d hum before the two walked back to the group, Sanji sighed as Ivan turned to him now,

‘’That’ll be fun, right Sanji?’’, Ivan smiled over, Sanji gave a look of grimace, sure- f u n- he thought to himsef, before looking over nodding, humming a yes in response, Ivan hummed amused, ruffling the boys hair before turning to the teacher as the class started.

The bell for the end of school sounded, filling the school sharply, before the sound of people filling the corridors once more replaced it, Sanji exhaled heavily, before grumbling quietly as Ivan basically jumped on him as they walked out the classroom, an arm flying over his shoulder,

''Ready for our sing song?'', Ivan gave a grin, rather excited, it was rather cute, sanji thought to himself in a sudden thought before shaking his head swiftly rubbing it with a hand, what are you thinking Sanji, he thought to himself with a grumble before exhaling and glancing back to the boy,

''Was it necessary to invite me to?'', Sanji sighed, looking back forward as they walked,

''Are you backing out'', Ivan asked with a pout, removing his arm and putting them in his pockets as they walked, Sanji glanced over once more, pressing his lips into a thin line, that dumb face and pout, how could he refuse, he exhaled heavily before stopping at his locker nodding,

''Fine, no I’m not backing out, let’s go'', He’d groan shutting the locker once he stuffed everything inside it, Ivan gave that dumb excited grin once more as he bounced out after Sanji as they walked to meet the others.

Sanji sighed as he glanced up to the neon sign on the front of the karaoke place, staring at it for a moment before his focus was broken by Hannah tapping his shoulder, he’d jolt a little before giving a small smile,

''You okay Sanji?'', she returned the smile to him, titling her head a little, Sanji nodded giving a small im fine, to which Hannah nodded with a hum before following everyone inside, getting their booth number and leading everyone into the room, taking thier seats as two of the other classmates went ahead to the machine looking through the songs with a chuckle, Sanji sighed quietly once more, scooting over as Ivan sat down next to him,

''This is going to be fun'', Ivan chimed with a smile over to him, ruffling his hair, Sanji glanced away as his hair was ruffled, giving a small nod,

''Right, fun'', he’d hum over quietly, he was never good with anything social like this, he would be doing homework right now if he wasn’t here, which sounds boring but it was his routine, sighing quietly he glancee around, answering the girls briefly on what alcohol he wanted- which he had no idea because he’d never had any before, picking something random and listening to the others as they sang, waiting for his drink, which he was dreading to be quite honest, he never liked the idea of drinking but to fit in he’d at least try, silly Sanji, never do stuff your uncomfy with to fit in with people.

The drinks finally arrived and the others drank right away, it was clear they all had done it before, Sanji however- was the opposite, looking at the drink as he picked up the glass,

''You alright Sanji?'', Chloe asked over watching him, Sanji glanced over nodding before downing the drink before Chloe could stop him, ‘’-thats a sipping drink-'', she’d exhale out, then gave a sigh as she wasn’t surprised when he passed out instantly drunk,

''I dont think ive ever met a bigger lightweight'', Hannah snorted amused, before exhaling, ''shall we take him home? Or?'', she’d mumble looking around the group, the others shrugged before Ivan got up with a small chuckle,

''Ill take him, you all have fun'', he’d smile down to them, before helping the VERY drunk Sanji up, giving his goodbyes to everyone as they exited.
