shh... don't downcast already I'll not begin this story with the old ways of telling stories...

Hello everyone, my name is Maya. I'm 11 yrs old and I'm the youngest siblings, I have a curly hair and my skin tone is a little bit dark and this make me special.

"Maya, Maya come on have your breakfast"... oh! this is my mother Kylie, she is in her early 30s,although she seems old she is as lively as a teenage girl...

I immediately run out of my room to have breakfast, my family members are already there..

my father is already there and my older brother sit beside my father..

Thomas, yes, he is my father, even though he didn't say he love us he always show in his action, he is at his late 30s, and a farmer who work hard for his family.

I forget to mention it, my parents are farmer they work hard for my brother and me to complete our dreams..

they are the best gift that i got in my life...

here my brother, Sam, he is at his early 20s , a Commerce student, he wants to be a CEO of his own company.. (I wish he could fulfill his dream as soon as possible ) he work hard to become one of the biggest.

I walk towards the dining table and slowly sit beside my mother who greet me with a warm smile , I quickly return her smile and started to eat my breakfast.

I look around our kitchen while eating my breakfast, the kitchen is not big but large enough to say it is small, the dining table is at the middle of the kitchen room.

Soon my father notice that I space out , he clear his throat and shift a cup of water towards me and speak slowly and steady 'don't space out while eating ', I quickly snap out of my dream ,due to shyness I can feel my blood running in my cheek, I look down and continue to eat my food again. After I finished my breakfast I help Mom do the dishes and prepare for school.

At the school.....

as soon as I enter the class my best friend greet me with a loud voice 'morning Maya you're late', in my mind. oh! she is loud 😆. she is my best friend. Rina..

Hello everyone I'm Rina, Maya's bestfriend . we are friends since last year... when we join this school we both are shy . I still remember her reaction when i enter the class she sit quietly in the corner of the class, I approach her and exchange our name, after exchanging some word our teacher enter the class.. and we begin our lesson... is it weird how we become friend? I know I think it's weird too... 😆

Rina stop telling them nonsense, everyone don't listen to her she is out of her mind again... EVERYONE BACK TO THE STORY...

I run towards her and take a seat, after I sit my teacher come in and start the lesson....

Maya just enter the school, she is new here and also the school is really unfamiliar to her. The journey from the school gate to her classroom is kinda awkward because she got so many attention from the student in the playground, she feels uneasy and sometimes without knowingly she just started running. Out of her absentmindedness she forget that she still don't know her classroom... she immediately walk towards the staffroom that she remember when they came here for her admission...

The teacher welcome her with a warm smile, as soon as she reach the teacher's table, the teacher ask why she come here but when she look at Maya's face she can tell that she is lost... Maya explain to her teacher about her situation. Then the teacher told her to sit on one of the chair and wait for a minute, after a few minutes of waiting the teacher finally stood up and walk towards Maya and tell her to follow her.

(The teacher has a slim body, a pretty face and a beautiful hair, just looking from her appearance you can tell that she is kind and soft hearted women.)

After walking for a few step they finally reached her class. it seems that Maya started to space out again without looking at her teacher she just step forward in a wrong direction, her teacher is fast on calling her back. Maya is too ashamed that her little bit dark tone cheek has change into a dark pink cheek, she can feel her blood running around inside her body... her teachers seems to recognise her space out she hold her hands and tell her that everything is alright.....

inside the classroom: everyone is loud ,playing, running around, and chatting... as soon as the teacher enter the class they walk to their own place and become quiet..

the teacher introduce me to the class and tell me my seat...

Maya's pov:

when I go to the seat where my teacher's point, I see a girl sitting quietly in her place, she has a straight long hair, a fair skin, she smile at me and gesture me to sit next to her.... after we exchange some word it turn out that her name is Korah, and one of the top student in the class. No wonder why she is polite to me 😁......

Time skip;(cause I don't know what to write what's happen inside the classroom)

The day pass by easily now it is the last lesson for today, the teacher solved some mathematics problem on the blackboard and let us copy them...

After the class is over I bid a good bye to my new friend, as I walk slowly on the street I say to myself "changing school is not that hard as I think before"....

little did I know that it is only the start....... and can't predict what's going to happen....
