Life is hard." Many would agree with that sentence, including Park Jimin, Son of Park Sehun, one of the most powerful supernatural being to ever live.
Despite both of Jimin's parents being so powerful, his whole family really, he was born without any supernatural powers.
It's not impossible for a child to be born without magical powers but with Jimin people thought it would have been destined since the Park family has never recieved a child without powers and that made Jimin's life hell.
He never left his home, his parents were too scared to have him leave the mansion because of him being weak and without powers,
they knew having him out in the open would leave a trail of targets on his back.
At age 10 Jimin started combat, he always felt powerless, literally so when he saw movies with people fighting he knew he had to try and so he did.
It was hard at first to do the moves his master taught but as time passed and Jimin grew older he mastered everything.
His master would always commend him and tell him that he was by far the best student he had ever taught and that made Jimin feel rather special even if it wasn't a huge feature.
By 17 Jimin had his mind set on what he wanted, he wanted to attend Park's School for Supernaturals.
He knew it was a long shot and probably a waste of time but he was tired of feeling useless,
just because he didn't have powers didn't mean he couldn't defend himself, he was confident in himself,
he wanted to prove himself worthy to his parents and he felt the best way to do so was to attend PSFS.
He asked his dad over and over and over but would get the same plain answer "no" same with his mom,
only she was a bit more gentler but despite their refusal Jimin wasn't going to give up that easily, so he asked and asked until his parents finally gave in.
Jimin
Dad, I know that I don't have supernatural abilities but I can take care of myself,
Jimin
I've never left this house, don't you think it's time I do?
Jimin was seated in the living room with both of his parents. He was tired of seeing the city from his balcony, he wanted to go there and see everything up close,
he wants to go swimming, run on a field, he wanted to make friends but how could he do any of that if his parents continued to keep him locked up inside like a goddamn prisoner.
Mr. Park
Jimin when will you give this up?
Jimin
Never, so just let me go.
Jimin
You guys have seen me fight, don't you think I'm capable of protecting myself.
Mrs. Park
Jimin, I have seen you fight and you are amazing,
Mrs. Park
I have to admit but you are my only child and I don't want to send you away knowing you could get seriously hurt.
He completely understood why they were scared of letting him go but he was almost 18, he doesn't want to be locked away behind his house doors anymore.
Mrs. Park
I can't stand in your way either, Jimin. Not anymore,
Jimin
Mom, I promise I'll be fine, the moment I get hurt,
Jimin
even just a bit you can come get me and I'll never leave the house again.
Jimin
I really want to do this, I need to prove to everyone that I'm not worthless.
Jimin's dad shakes his head and sighs in defeat.
Mr. Park
Son, of course you are not worthless,
Mr. Park
but I do understand and if you feel this is the best way to prove yourself then I won't stop you.
Jimin
*smiles then turns to his mom with a pout*
Mrs. Park stands from her chair then makes her way over to Jimin, who also stands. He hugs her tightly whispering small 'thank you's'.
Jimin
I love you guys so much, I won't let you down, I'll go pack right away.
Mr. Park
* laughs* Son, calm down, you have one month until the PSFS starts again.
Jimin
Oh, yeah, I got a little too excited.
Jimin
I'll go practice some combat.
Jimin runs off leaving his parents in the living room.
He couldn't wait to start school, all his life he's been homeschooled.
Most of the kids without powers go to public schools but Jimin was the son of Park Sehun and Park Chaeyeong, which put him in danger as everyone was out to get the Park family, because they were the most powerful, other families made it their goal to attack them to prove that they were more powerful.
Jimin's dad wasn't one for conflicts but he'd do anything to keep his family safe and with Jimin being powerless he thought the best option was to keep him locked away in the mansion.
Mrs. Park
You think he'll be okay?
Mr. Park
I don't know, but we have to tell him the truth someday.
Mrs. Park
I know, it's gonna break his heart.
Mrs. Park lets out a sad sigh, still looking in the direction her happy son had just went.
Mr. Park
I know but it was for the best, he'll be 18 soon, his life will change way more than he realizes

The next week Mr. Park and his wife announced to the public that their son would be attending PSFS despite him not having powers.
Of course there were a few people who were agaisnt it but there was plenty who thought it was a good idea.
Jimin spent hours upon hours in the fighting room trying to improve his taekwondo skills, he didn't know what to expect.
Would the students be nice or would they bully him for being different. He just hopes that they'd accept him.

The month passed by pretty quickly and Jimin was nervous and excited all at once, he was finally going to pass the gates of his house,
the furthest he's ever went outside his house in the garden and sometimes he could convince his dad to let him walk along the vineyard but not without atleast 3 bodyguards.
Jimin followed behind his parents, out the door, with two suitcases that were stacked with clothes, the maid had offered to carry them but Jimin told her that she didn't have to.
Once Jimin was in the limousine, of course his parents had to bring him in the limousine.
Jimin didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention but he didn't want to argue with his parents so he just got in the limousine.
Mr. Park
Are you ready son?
Jimin
* smiles and knods eagerly*
Jimin
Yes, I just hope I won't be outcasted.
Jimin's mom puts her hand on his shoulder offering support.
Mrs. Park
The students there are very friendly, you shouldn't have to be worried.
Mrs. Park tells him and Jimin feels slightly less nervous than he was before.
Mr. Park
You'll be fine son, you're a Park. There's nothing we can't do.
His dad would always say that phrase even though he knew Jimin hated it.
Mr. Park
Also, we'll come get you on the week of your birthday.
Mr. Park
It'll be your 18th birthday and we have alot to tell you.
Jimin nods confusedly. He decides not to worry about it and just focus on the fact that he can finally leave the damn mansion.
He really loves it, don't get him wrong but he's been living in it for the past 17 years, he knows the mansion better than he knows the back of his hand and the mansion was huge so that says alot.
He's just happy to be going somewhere where he won't feel like he's being locked away.

Jimin stared out the window in awe, there were many people outside walking to God alone knows where.
He wanted to unwind the windows but his parents told him not to. He just sighs in defeat and continued watching as the trees flew by them swiftly.
They arrived at the school ground in about 1½ hours and Jimin was even more nervous but he barely showed it.
His parents wish him good luck and also warned him that he might be bombarded with questions about his family and that he shouldn't answer them after that Jimin left the car.
The school was huge, Jimin had seen pictures of the school but seeing it close up like this was amazing. He couldn't help the huge smile that crept up on his lips.
Jimin made his way to the front desk and Jimin noticed that there wasn't a lot of students around but the ones that were stared at him as if he had just killed someone. Jimin tried to ignore it as he walked towards the secretary.
Jimin
Hello, I'm Park Jimin.
the brown haired male, who was previously seated looked up at him with warm smile, Jimin felt less nervous at the welcoming smile.
Namjoon
Oh, your dad contacted me earlier. I'm Kim Namjoon.
The tall man said politely, stretching his hand out for Jimin to shake. Jimin offers him a soft smile and shakes his hand.
Jimin
It's nice to meet you.
Mr. Kim starts searching through some files.
Namjoon
Do you have any questions you wanted to ask?
Namjoon
Very well then, here is your room key. I hope you'll enjoy your time here Jimin.
Jimin
Thank you and i hope so too.
Jimin takes the small key from the older, he takes a few seconds to inspect it before he focuses on Namjoon again.
Namjoon
If you need anything just come to me, your dad asked me to take care of you. Kind of like your guardian.
Jimin should've known his dad would've done something like this. Jimin forces a smile at the older before he speaks up.
Jimin
Mr. Kim, that's really not neccessary, I'm ve-
Namjoon
Call me Namjoon, and it's your father's wishes. I have to follow through with it.
Jimin bows to the older before he starts walking away, he didn't even know where he was going, he really should've asked Mr. Ki..Namjoon to show him the way.
